ENVIRONMENTAL REPORT
In our company principles it says that it is
a foremost law to preserve our natural
foundation for life. This includes the purity
of the oceans and shores and the
preservations of their surrounding landscapes.
As the first German shipping
company we were certified according to
ISO14001 already in 1997. All achievements
in this respect are summarized in
our annual environmental report.
Please download it at www.laeisz.de
ECO-ASSISTANT
In our endeavour to continuously improve
our service to our customers our vessels
shall be equipped with GL’s ECO-Assistant,
a software tool delivering an optimal
trim angle. Based on ship specific data
the tool allows for fuel saving and reduces
the vessel’s carbon footprint. We believe
that the crews will quickly get used
to the ECO-Assistant and increase awareness
for even further energy-saving opportunities
on board.
