The Shaw Cattle Company of Notus, Idaho has been doing just that for the past 16 years. Cattle producers from throughout the West come to the Treasure Valley sale ever year, looking for quality genetics. Some 300 Hereford & Black Angus bulls were offered at the auction in late February. The Shaw Cattle Company is a fourth generation family operation whose sole income comes from being in the seedstock business.
