determined that the proposed amended Special Use for the Woodland Park Renovations fully complies with the requirements and standards set forth in Article 7.02-B, Paragraph 4, and Article 13.11 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield, and that the best interests of the Village will be served by the further authorization and granting of the requested amendment to the Special Use for the Subject Property to permit the Woodland Park Renovations to the extent provided; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, in the exercise of its home rule powers, as follows: SECTION 1: That the above and foregoing recitals, being material to this Ordinance, are hereby incorporated by this reference and made a part of this Ordinance as if fully set forth herein. SECTION 2: That the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield do hereby authorize and approve an amendment to the Zoning Map of the Village of Deerfield to change the zoning classification of the property legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto from the R-l Single-Family Residence District to the P-l Public Lands District, subject to the Amended Special Use for the proposed Woodland Park Renovations as hereby approved and authorized. SECTION 3: That the President and Board of Trustees do hereby affirmatively find that the proposed Woodland Park Renovations, hereby authorized as an amended Special Use of the Subject Property in P-l Public Lands District, fully complies with the requirements and standards for modifications set forth in Article 7.02-B, Paragraph 4 and Article 13-11 of the Zoning Ordinance ofthe Village ofDeerfield.

SECTION 4: That the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield do hereby authorize and approve the establishment, operation and maintenance of the Woodland Park Renovations, as more fully described on the plans and supporting documents incorporated as part of Exhibit B to this ordinance, including but not limited to: (i) the razing of a 36,000 square foot former school building to provide open green space; (ii) the addition of a new picnic shelter with restroom facilities; (iii) an enlarged parking lot; (iv) the replacement of playground equipment; (v) relocation of the basketball court; (vi) savannah restoration; and (vii) the extension of walking trails and bicycle paths (collectively referred to herein as the "Woodland Park Renovations"), all as an amendment to the Special Use previously approved for the Subject Property in the P-l Public Lands District pursuant to Article 7.02-B, Paragraph 4 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield, subject to the conditions, regulations and restrictions set forth in Section 5 of this ordinance. SECTION 5: That the approval and authorization of said amended Special Use IS granted subject to the following additional conditions, regulations and restrictions: (i) The construction, development, maintenance and use of the Woodland Park Renovations shall be in accordance with the site plan, floor plans, elevations, landscape plans, photometric plans, signage plans and supporting materials attached hereto and made a part of this Ordinance as Exhibit B hereof, and with all representations made and submitted by the Applicant to the Plan Commission, to the Village Center Development Commission and to the President and Board of Trustees; (ii) Compliance by the Applicant with all other applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordinance ofthe Village ofDeerfield. SECTION 6: That the amended Special Use as hereby authorized shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the Applicant and to Applicant's successors, grantees, transferees and assigns, and any violation of the conditions herein set forth by the Applicant or its successors,
