MULTIMEDIA PERFORMANCE
Her work intertwines poetry, visions and soundscapes with language and
performance across various art forms and media.
Creating under the name of Madam Neverstop, her interests involve
soundscapes, visual arts through textile/fabrics/papers/paintings, and
presented as installations which often also involve film, animation,
and performance… all of this centered around conversations on agency,
identity and territory. These live performances usually include video
projections, tape recorders, synthesizers, vox pedals and microphones
to combine live poetry and soundscapes.
INTERVENTIONS OF
A SPACE
ENTRANCE TO THE CAVE:
This performance is an intimate
space for the audience to experience
individually, share their secrets,
fears and dreams, and get a typed poem
in response.
It can be performed at 2 hour
intervals, and requires volunteers to
invite the audience to enter the cave,
preferably in the style of bouncers
at the entrance of a club.
Includes soundscapes and typewriters.
Concept inspired by the cut-up of
William Burroughs and the collages
and drawings of HC Andersen.
A conversation about sexual diversity,
intimacy and human connection,
presented as an artistic intervention
in the main hall of the HC Andersen
museum in Denmark, 2022.

EXHIBITIONS
Due to her extensive background of over a decade in the performing
arts as an interdisciplinary artist, Elizabeth has an array of works
of visual poetry involving stop-motion, animation, experimental film
and experimental music. They can be screened individually in a gallery
or museum, or as a headphones installation for a curated compilation
exhibition.

PANELS AND TALKS ON MULTIMEDIA POETRY
As a cultural promoter and director of
the international archive THE POETIC
PHONOTHEQUE, Elizabeth gives talks in
museums, libraries and other cultural
spaces, which combine a discussion on
the importance of the diversification
of cultural spaces, combining
conversations with international and
local guest artists, culminating in a
poetry reading and the presentation of
a selection of videos from around the
world that are part of this archive.
As of 2023, these events have taken
place in 7 countries and over 20
cities.
INTERDISCIPLINARY CREATIVITY WORKSHOPS
The interdisciplinary creativity
workshops focus on the use of poetry
as a channel for important messages
from our communities, represented
in written, then visual and audio
form. Multimodal forms of expression
and how to tap into these resources.
Participants first hear a talk about
Elizabeth’s career, her accomplishments
and lessons learned along the way,
and view a selection from The POETIC
PHONOTHEQUE of international voices
and videos from around the world that
are part of the archive.
Using various tools, such as analog or
digital audio recorders, computers,
typewriters, papers, their mobile
phones or other objects, they develop
a concept that is then presented as
a sound or audiovisual poem, which at
the end of the workshop, are added to
the collection of the sound library.
These workshops have recently been
commissioned by the University of
Copenhagen and the University of
Wales, the international performing
arts festival Artival and the Finnish
organization Kirjan Talo.
Each festival and event is documented
X SPECIES: A multimedia show with live soundscapes, visual mapping and
multilingual poetry in two voices to create a fascinating space where the
audience could relax and immerse themselves in a conversation about our
role in the conservation of the planet and the species that inhabit it,
including our own.
Daniel worked on the visuals creating moving images that he intertwined with
sounds I created with vocal loops on my synthesizers, droning noise through
my #lyra8 and a tape recorder, and all linked with poetic interventions
from one or both of us.
