Our Chefs 

antOnia arera 

Antonia is Head Chef at the Chocolate Academy Köln/ 

Cologne. She trained in Germany and gained experience 

working in Michelin-starred restaurants. She refined her 

skills at the prestigious “Ecole Internationale de Pâtisserie 

Olivier Bajard” in Perpignan, France. In 2012, she opened 

her highly regarded pastry shop in Germany. Antonia 

holds degrees in Professional Pastry and Professional 

Economics, along with a diploma in French Pastry, 

Chocolaterie, and Ice Cream.

Born and raised in the world 

of pastry, Anna is a culinary 

entrepreneur working on her 

family business — the historical 

pastry shop ‘Piccinelli’ (since 1862) 

in the ancient city of Brescia.

her mark in this world by creating 

something good not only for 

people, but for the environment.
