2024 OWSRCC Advertising Guide

The OWSRCC was created by our ten founding members – Wiley Abel (President, Citizens
Bank of Oviedo), Johnie Conley (Conley and Assoc.), David Evans (Wheeler Fertilizer Co.), Jim
Massey (Water Aides), Larry Neely (Outlook Newspaper), Nita Rawlson, Ben Ward (Ben Ward
Agency), Don Weaver (B&W Quality Growers), B.F. Wheeler, Jr. (Nelson and Co.) and Harvey
Winchester (Gale-Ward and Winchester Insurance) as the Greater Oviedo Chamber on July
28th, 1982. The chamber entered its 25th year in 2009 with a name change that better
reflected the service area – The Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce.
The OWSRCC has proudly served our community for over 40 years and has grown to 600
member organizations.
As the economic development engine for the business community of Oviedo and Winter
Springs, the OWSRCC supports and promotes member companies and offers a host of
member benefits and services. Our programs include educational workshops, networking
and social events. OWSRCC members represent our region’s influential corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, managers, small business owners, young
professionals, media personalities, educators and political figures.
Many of our events benefit scholarships and educational programs that reinvest back into our community. Our events include; Chamber After 5, Coffee
Hour, OWS Chamber Alliance, Women In Networking, Digital Marketing Workshops and Signature Events include: Taste of Oviedo, Central Winds Music
Festival, Ovations Gala, as well as additional programs that include business related topics.
Sponsorship is a joint marketing venture involving both the Chamber and business partners. By assisting businesses in the Seminole County region
achieve their marketing growth objectives through sponsored events, publications and web pages, the Chamber fosters the growth of business in the
State of Florida.
Chamber sponsorship provides your company with the name recognition, publicity, advertising and community reinvestment opportunities. OWSRCC
business events attract between 35 and 1,000 local business people and signature events attract between 500 and 20,000 people from the community.
Sponsorships are offered on an annual basis through our President’s Circle Distinguished Partner Program; as well as various sponsorships levels with
each event. In addition to sponsorship of specific events, the Chamber offers opportunities to advertise your company’s strategic advantages to a
targeted audience of our members and community through our new website and annual Business Directory & Community Guide. Additional information

Our Chamber Scholarship Golf Tournament is an annual event
coordinated by the Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber
of Commerce and presented by Oviedo City Church to benefit
the Scholarship fund.Annually, we award two local deserving
high school seniors with a college scholarship from the funds

of area businesswomen who meet monthly to exchange
information, share contacts, and provide a support system for
professional women within our chamber’s service area. This
