Monsters, Misfits And Mayhem Take Over Bunratty<br />

Location: Bunratty Castle & Folk Park, Co.<strong>Clare</strong>.<br />

Dates: Saturday, October 26 to Monday, October 28<br />

"Monsters, Misfits, and Mayhem" are set to take over Bunratty Castle<br />

and Folk Park. Expect wicked wakes, talking heads, the Witches'<br />

Kitchen, and a Bed of Nails—no gravestone will be left unturned! New<br />

for <strong>2024</strong>, visitors can enjoy chilling additions like the Red Devil, the<br />

Séance, and the Shrinking Illusion. Returning favourites include the<br />

Chamber of Torture, the McNamara Family's Wicked Wake, and the<br />

Witches' Kitchen. As you explore the park, watch out for creepy<br />

characters like Frankenstein and Dr. Jekyll! For younger visitors,<br />

there’s plenty of gentle frights, including the <strong>Halloween</strong> Games Room,<br />

spooky tale, a haunted train ride, and puppet shows.<br />

Spooky Season at the Cliffs of Moher Experience<br />

Location: Cliffs of Moher, Liscannor, Co.<strong>Clare</strong>.<br />

It’s spooky season at the Cliffs of Moher. The Visitor Centre will be<br />

transformed with <strong>Halloween</strong> decorations, ready to welcome visitors of<br />

all ages dressed as ghosts, goblins, witches, and wizards. The centre<br />

is open from 8 am to 7 pm in October. Booking online in advance is<br />

recommended. Throughout <strong>Halloween</strong> weekend, the Cliffs of Moher will<br />

host a range of fun activities. Children can embark on a <strong>Halloween</strong><br />

Clue Hunt. There will also be daily face painting from 12 pm to 3 pm,<br />

spooky stories on the Visitor Centre's TV. The Cliffs cafés will offer<br />

<strong>Halloween</strong>-themed muffins, pumpkin spiced lattés, and other sweet<br />

treats, along with their usual selection of freshly prepared meals,<br />

<strong>Halloween</strong> at Doolin Cave<br />

From October 26th to November 1st, visit the Haunted Garden for a<br />

spine-tingling Screech Walk, an interactive mystery trail where you can<br />

dress up and wander through eerie pathways while solving the Grim<br />

Garden's Secret. Don’t forget to grab your activity sheet at the entrance<br />

to keep track of all the spooky clues! Throughout the week, a variety of<br />

<strong>Halloween</strong>-themed activities will be on offer, including pumpkin carving,<br />

storytelling, and more. While fancy dress isn’t required, it’s highly<br />

Get ready for a fun-filled educational experience this <strong>Halloween</strong> at<br />

Doolin Cave! This midterm, Doolin Cave is hosting daily cave tours<br />

every hour, on the hour from 11am to 5pm (last tour at 4pm).<br />

Delve deep underground, where rock formations and tunnels await you<br />

on a Doolin Cave Tour. Discover the history of the Great Stalactite and<br />

learn about the rock formations and fossils that can be seen throughout<br />

the tour. On Thursday 31st October, children on a cave tour who<br />

arrive in fancy dress will receive a FREE goodie bag!<br />

Two <strong>Halloween</strong> Pottery Kids Camps at Charm Bee<br />

Location: Charm Bee Studio, Labasheeda, Co.<strong>Clare</strong>.<br />

Dates: Monday 28, Tuesday 29 & Wednesday October 30. 11:00h- 13:30h<br />

Two Different Camps: #1 Ceramic Skulls & Monster Faces: This<br />

camp runs over two days, October 28th and 29th, from 11 am to 1:30<br />

pm. On Day 1, participants will craft spooky skull plaques, <strong>Halloween</strong><br />

monsters, and pencil pots from wet ceramic clay. On Day 2, they’ll<br />

return to paint their creations, which will be glazed and fired in a kiln,<br />

transforming them into unique, spooky pieces of art. Please note,<br />

attendance on both days is required. Separately, #2 Glitter Tiles &<br />

Fizzer Balls: This is a one-day camp on October 30th, also from 11 am<br />

to 1:30 pm. Participants will design shimmering glitter tiles using soft<br />

glitter clay and create their very own scented fizzers to enjoy at home.<br />

<strong>Halloween</strong> Night Walk at 12 O'Clock Hills<br />

Ennis Dark History Walking Tour<br />

Join the 12 O'Clock Hills for the annual <strong>Halloween</strong> Night Walk on<br />

Saturday, 26th October, at 6:30pm. Please meet at the 12 O'Clock Hills<br />

car park for a prompt start at 6:45pm. Essential: Participants are<br />

required to bring a handheld or head torch, wear sturdy boots, and<br />

dress warmly. The walk is suitable for young children, but please note<br />

that buggies are not permitted, and no dogs are allowed. Along the<br />

route from the car park to the Mass Rock and back, enjoy hot chocolate<br />

and sweet treats at the halfway point. All children must be<br />

accompanied by an adult. There is a €2 fee per walker, with proceeds<br />

going towards upgrading the Fairyland. Additional donations are greatly<br />
