EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION
CENTER AT MVA (ETIC)
From our Lower School to our Upper School, Montverde Academy students are immersed in a
dynamic and comprehensive STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) curriculum
that encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and creative thinking. This immersive experience is
enriched through our dedicated spaces within the Educational Technology and Innovation Center
(ETIC), which provides students with unparalleled opportunities to explore, experiment, plan,
collaborate, and bring their ideas to life through hands-on fabrication of prototypes.
The ETIC serves as the central hub for innovation at Montverde Academy, where students engage
in a wide range of interdisciplinary projects designed to stimulate critical thinking and foster a
deeper understanding of the world around them. Whether designing and building robots, coding
software applications, or creating 3D-printed models, students are given the tools and support they
need to bring their concepts from imagination to reality.
In addition to engineering and robotics, the center supports a variety of creative and technical
endeavors, such as video production, digital photography, graphic design, and interactive media
projects. By combining artistic expression with cutting-edge technology, the ETIC empowers
students to push the boundaries of what’s possible, all while nurturing collaboration and teamwork.
At Montverde Academy, our commitment to STEAM education extends beyond the classroom,
creating an environment where students are inspired to think critically, work collaboratively, and
develop the skills they will need to succeed in an ever-evolving world.
