Teriyaki food truck design
The design was created in reference to
popular Japanese souvenirs from the
1950s.Because, Teriyaki chicken became
a boom in the 1950s in America. This was
because soy sauce manufacturers invented
teriyaki sauce in order to sell soy sauce in
the United States.
The colour of the food truck was chosen to
be silver. This is to make them stand out in
places where food trucks congregate, such
as festival venues.
Also, the colour reflects sunlight, making
the food trucks stand out from a distance.

I sculpted a robot character from the 1997

Despite the popularity of this robot, figures
have only been released a few times. It was

avid fans would buy them.
The figure expresses the dynamism of this
robot in battle. The robot fights with a gun
mounted on its arm and is posed firing the
gun.
YAMANASHI
Japan Travel Poster.
Purpose of production is to make the target
customers desire to travel to Japan.
Therefore, the most iconic location in Japanese
travel, Mount Fuji, was chosen. Additionally,
the main character was positioned facing
backward, walking towards Mount Fuji. This
was done to make it easier for the target customers
to imagine themselves traveling.
The artistic style chosen is reminiscent of
traditional Japanese paintings, such as ukiyo-e.
For the font, Didot was selected. Didot, being
a font born in the 17th century when ukiyo-e
emerged, was considered to match well with
ukiyo-e.

The first animated film called

Careers in Filmmaking
In the world of filmmaking, employment
obligations encompass a
wide range of responsibilities and
opportunities. From directors and
producers to actors and editors,
each role in the filmmaking process
carries its own set of obligations.
For directors and producers, the
obligations primarily revolve
around overseeing the entire
production process, from script
development to casting, shooting,
and post-production. They are
responsible for managing the budget,
coordinating the work of the
crew, and ensuring that the creative
vision is achieved. Additionally,
they must handle legal and financial
obligations, such as obtaining
permits and securing distribution
deals.
Cinematographers and camera
operators have the responsibility
of capturing visually stunning
images. They need to ensure that
the camera angles and movements
align with the director’s vision, and
that the technical aspects of filming
like lighting and composition are
executed flawlessly.
Actors are obliged to bring the
characters to life, delivering
convincing performances that
captivate the audience. They must
memorize lines, understand the
motivations and emotions of their
characters, and work collaboratively
with the director and fellow
actors.
Latest Tech Trends.
There are several major trends that have emerged in the world of filmmaking
in recent years, shaping the industry and the way we consume movies.
Here are some of the biggest trends:
Diversity and Inclusion: The film industry has seen a push for more
diverse stories and representation, both in front of and behind the camera.
This includes more films featuring actors from marginalized communities
and greater opportunities for female directors and filmmakers from underrepresented
backgrounds.
Streaming Platforms: The rise of streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon
Prime, and Disney+ has significantly impacted the industry. Streaming
services are producing their own original content, challenging traditional
distribution methods, and changing the way audiences consume films.
Revival of Franchises and Sequels: Hollywood has seen a wave of sequels,
reboots, and revivals of beloved franchises. Nostalgia plays a significant
role, with studios cashing in on the familiarity and fan base of established
properties.
Low-budget Independent Films: Thanks to technological advancements
and crowdfunding platforms, independent filmmakers have easier access
to equipment and funding. This has resulted in a surge of unique and
lower-budget films that often gain critical acclaim and find success without
relying on big studios.
Virtual Reality and 360-Degree Filmmaking: With the increasing availability
of virtual reality platforms, filmmakers have started exploring the
possibilities of immersive storytelling. VR films allow audiences to engage
in a more interactive and immersive movie experience.
Social Impact Stories: Films addressing social issues, such as human
rights, mental health, and environmental crises, have gained considerable
attention. These stories aim to educate and inspire change, sparking conversations
about important topics.

News of the World

Best Practice
Film making is an intricate process that requires
careful planning, execution, and collaboration. To
ensure a successful production, it is essential to
follow some of the best work practices:
Pre-production planning: Thorough pre-production
is vital to establish a solid foundation for any
film project. This includes script development,
storyboarding, scheduling, and casting. Adequate
time and attention given to these areas can save
significant time and resources during production.
Effective communication: Clear and open communication
is crucial throughout the filmmaking
process. This involves regular meetings, briefings,
and discussions with the entire crew to ensure
everyone is on the same page. Establishing a common
goal and fostering a collaborative environment
allows for a smoother workflow.
Attention to detail: Paying attention to the finer
details ensures a high-quality end product. This
includes careful consideration of elements such as
costumes, props, set design, lighting, and sound.
Each aspect contributes to the overall aesthetic
and success of the film.
Time management: Efficient time management is
vital in film production to meet deadlines and stay
within budget. Creating a well-defined schedule
and adhering to it helps in avoiding unnecessary
delays and cost overruns.
Safety measures: Safety should be a top priority on
any film set. Ensuring a safe working environment
for the cast and crew by implementing necessary
precautions and protocols helps to prevent accidents
and injuries.
Flexibility and adaptability: Film production often
involves unexpected challenges or last-minute
changes. Maintaining a flexible approach and
being open to adjustments allows for quick problem-solving
and adaptation when necessary.
By incorporating these best work practices into
the filmmaking process, production teams can
achieve a more efficient workflow, maintain high
production value, and increase the chances of
creating a successful and captivating film.
Filmmaking
Ethics & IP
What is the dullest subject matter a filmmaker can
bring up at dinner? Filmmaking Ethics and Intellectual
Property. However it is absolutely essential
you understand these legal issues. It doesn’t matter
if you are making a low-budget film or a Hollywood
blockbuster.
Filmmakers need to be aware of these issues and
contemplate them appropriately prior to commencing
the creative filmmaking process. As of 2023,
The Australian Screen Industry Code of Practise
is the current code aimed at preventing workplace
discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment and
bullying. Screen employers must make a commitment
to providing a safe and respectful workplace by
having workplace policies and procedures in place.
Intellectual Property is the property of your mind
An important aspect is obtaining legal permission
for filming on location. This involves securing
permits and licenses from relevant authorities and
respecting the rights of property owners or local
communities. Additionally, filmmakers must obtain
clearance for any copyrighted material, including
music, images, or trademarks used in the film.
Ethical practices in filmmaking also emphasize
accurate representation and portrayal of individuals
and communities. It is essential to avoid cultural
appropriation, stereotyping, or promoting offensive
content. Respecting diversity and ensuring fair
representation behind and in front of the camera
promotes inclusivity and prevents discrimination.
Moreover, ethical and legal considerations must
extend to the impact on the environment. Filmmakers
should strive for sustainable practices, such
as minimizing waste and carbon footprint during
production and being responsible with resources.

Task: Create a logo concept and wrap for a food truck.
The use of AI to help spark inspiration and generate
ideas helps designers to think outside of
the box. However, this has led to legal cases regarding
ownership of the artwork produced, and
whether you need to disclose that you have used
AI to produce the image.New legislation is being
written regarding this.
Some of the new and emerging technologies affecting
Graphic Design are listed below.
1. AI and ML
(Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning)
ed Reality)
AI powered tools can save designers valuable time
by automating repetitive tasks; act as a tool for
inspiration, and generate design ideas in programs
as Adobe Firefly, Adobe Express, Midjourrning
