Berry Companies, Inc. is a family owned and
operated company offering sales, rental and
support of compact and large construction
equipment, plus a full line of material handling
and warehouse solutions.
We have nine divisions with more than 60
branch locations across nine states, featuring
premier brands including Bobcat, Komatsu and
Hyster-Yale machines and equipment.
Through Berry’s decades-long growth and
diversification, we have remained a family
company where customers and employees
come first. Our mission—choosing what’s right
over what’s profitable—recognizes this familyfirst
approach as a key to our success.
Berry Companies is headquartered in Wichita,
KS and provides administrative services to each
of its nine divisions. Each division is operated
and managed independently. The equipment
purchased from manufacturers is distributed
through our divisions where it is sold and rented
to contractors, governmental agencies and
other companies.

In 1957, Fred Berry, Jr. and his brother Paul
purchased the Sam H. Denney Road Machinery
Co. and renamed it Berry Tractor & Equipment
Company. Denney was founded in 1928 as a
road maintenance equipment distributor.
Berry Tractor offers sales, rental, parts, lifecycle
product support and management, as well
as connected and automation solutions for
heavy construction equipment from Komatsu,
BOMAG, McCloskey International, Gomaco,
Superior Broom and many others. Products
include track-type tractors, large wheel-loaders,
excavators, dozers, motor graders, rollers
and asphalt paving, milling and aggregate
machines.

Berry Material Handling specializes in sales,
rental, parts and service of forklifts, lift trucks and
material handling and storage equipment from
Hyster-Yale, Bendi, Drexel, Genie, Mariotti, Taylor-
Dunn, and many others.
BMH also provides sales and service of racking
systems, plus standard and custom warehouse
equipment and accessories. We regularly handle
design/build projects: engineering, design and
fabrication of custom manufacturing access
platforms, in-factory, climate-controlled modular
offices, mezzanines, ramps and parts carts.
BMH has been recognized with the Yale Dealer
of Excellence award for over two decades. This
annual award honors Yale dealers that exhibit
focused leadership, perform at the highest
level of customer service, and demonstrate a
commitment to the safety of their associates.
