Considering the work done by 25 years old “CAMAL” LTD, the main reasons for it to rise to a dominant
position in the market are not being satisfied with the successes, showing interest in implementing
innovations that encourage rapid development and ensuring that customer satisfaction is
always kept at the highest level. Today, the main goal of the company is to maintain the correct
quality and production policy, increase consumer satisfaction and introduce ice cream with the
trade mark "İCELAND" on the world market as an Azerbaijani product.
The road that continues for 25 years – Today, “CAMAL” LTD company is
able to meet a large part of Azerbaijan's ice cream demand with its
quality products, “CAMAL” LTD is the leader of the local ice cream
market and its brand "İCELAND" is the most prestigious ice cream
brand.
Of course, it is not an easy task to be a leader in ice cream production, which is
the most developed competitive market in the food industry. In this case,
how did “CAMAL” LTD manage to become a leader in this competitive
market?
To find the answer to this question, let's take a brief look at the company's 25-
year period of activity, which was extremely efficient and remembered
with rich experiences.
The history of the trademark "İCELAND" began in 1998, when the
company's founders decided to establish an ice cream production plant.
Turkish technology and equipment were used to produce ice cream in the
early stages of its creation, which was a small production workshop.
In 2000 the company started packaging local ice cream products for the first
time and launched its first brand called "Bakinka", which is remembered
for its unique taste.
Since 2002, the company has started purchasing equipment from leading
European companies and using modern technologies in the production
of ice cream.
The company, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2008, already had a
production area with European experience and standards.
Since 2012, a chemical - microbiology laboratory has been established
within the factory for the analysis of products and has been accredited
according to AZS ISO/IEC 17025:2020.
Since 2013, the company has implemented a food safety management system
based on the requirements of “ISO 22000:2018” international standards.
