FORMAT OF QUALIFIERS
Each club signed up to host the British Motocross Championship Qualifiers is to hold a
minimum of 2 rounds with a maximum of 4 rounds each within their area for Auto, Junior
65cc and Small Wheel 85cc riders. The qualifiers must be completed by Monday 20 th May
2024.
Should a qualifying round have to be cancelled, it should not be rescheduled. Unless the
minimum two rounds have not been achieved.
To be scored for the qualifiers the rider must hold a valid annual ACU Motocross Licence for
2024, a Club Membership for the club you are competing with and completed a minimum of
two qualifying rounds. Merging of results from multiple qualifying clubs is not permitted.
Once the club has completed their qualifying rounds the top 4 riders will be invited by RHL
Activities Ltd via email to register and compete in five rounds of the Dirt Store ACU British
Motocross Championship for the 65cc and Small Wheel 85cc class and one round for the
ACU British Auto Cup.
If a rider has only completed for example three qualifying rounds but still remains within the
top 4 at the end of the four rounds they will be invited.
A deadline will be set by RHL Activities Ltd for the Top 4 riders from each club to register for
the Dirt Store ACU British Motocross Championship. If for whatever reason after this date
riders are not able to attend, RHL Activities Ltd reserve the right to contact the riders from
6 th place down to 10 th place within the qualifiers in the respective order.
The top 4 riders from 2023 in the 65cc and Small Wheel 85cc will automatically go through
to register for the 2024 Dirt Store ACU British Motocross Championship. This only applies if
the riders remain in the same class from 2023. (Registration fee to be paid when registration
opens for the classes)
Registration is only required for 65cc and Small Wheel 85cc classes. The ACU British Auto
Cup will be invitation only by RHL Activities, based on the qualifying round results.
Registered riders will comply with the Dirt Store ACU British Motocross Championship
Regulations after the qualifying rounds have been completed.
PROMOTERS CHOICE ENTRY
Once registered riders have entered, should there be any spaces available then the
Promoter (RHL Activities Ltd) has one Promoter Choice entry for each class (65cc / 85SW)
after this the spaces will be filled on a first come basis from riders that took part on the club
qualifying rounds but didn’t get offered the top 4 registered rider places.
Places will not be open to riders who have not supported the clubs via the Qualifying
system.

AGE OF RIDERS
Riders are only allowed to participate when the rider has attained the minimum age, as
indicated below:
- British Small Wheel 85cc Championship Class: 9 Years
- British 65cc Championship Class: 7 Years
- British Auto Championship Class: 6 Years

The limit for the minimum age will be determined by the rider’s age on the date of the
event. Any rider upgrading before the required minimum age is reached will be subject to
disciplinary action unless officially upgraded by the Motocross Committee.

For the weekend of June 8 th & 9 th this will be Round 1 and Round 2 for the 65cc and Small
Wheel 85cc riders. Saturday is the first round and Sunday is the second round.
