You can book your trip in 3 different ways! 

Hello all!! 

Thanks for taking an interest in our 

service here at Highcliffe. 

We have been running day excursions for 

over 25 years, picking up through the 

local area from Poole to New Milton. 

Most of the destinations are tried & tested 

and we are always looking out for 

somewhere new and exciting! 

We trust you will notice the difference 

when travelling on board a Highcliffe 

Coach. We have luxury modern touring 

coaches with comfortable legroom, toilet 

facilities and modern safety features. Not 

forgetting our ‘top’ drivers! 

As always, a huge tribute to all our 

wonderful staff for their brilliant efforts. 

Most of the day excursions allow for 

around 4 1/2 hours at the destination 

although this does vary slightly on some 

trips. Please check the timings when 

booking. 

We are a family business who have been 

serving the local area for over 25 years - 

since 1996. Your enjoyment is our driving 

motivation!

CHARGES AS SET OUT BELOW. 

We will make every effort to carry out the programme and itineraries as advertised but must 

reserve the right to cancel any excursion or alter routes, timings or stopping places without 

prior notice due to circumstances beyond our control.

If we are forced to cancel any excursion, a full refund will be made. In the event of a customer cancelling we shall 

apply charges in line with the scale below. Tickets cannot be transferred to future trips.

Our Coaches 

We regularly upgrade our fleet of modern 

coaches to offer a high level of comfort and 

incorporate new safety features. Our touring 

coaches are specified to provide generous 

legroom making for a comfortable journey. Air 

conditioning is fitted throughout and all vehicles 

also have toilet facilities, comfortable reclining 

seats, armrests, tinted glass and seat belts.

One of Britain's gems - a fabulous destination for a day out. Sheltered beneath the southern 

slopes of the Mendip Hills, it combines a wealth of historic interest and beautiful architecture. 

Wells qualifies as England's smallest, and Somerset's only city because of its amazing 12th 

century Cathedral. The wells, which gave the city its name, are located within the grounds of the 

Bishop's Palace, which is still the residence of the Bishop of Bath and Wells. Also of interest are 

Vicars' Close, claimed to be the oldest complete medieval street in Europe, and the historic

Lovely day out to this beautiful Cathedral city with a captivating history. At the city’s heart is

lovely public gardens. Guildford has a history and heritage which dates back to Saxon times 

when it was known as Golden (guilden) Ford. Complete with ruins of a Norman castle! Nice day

Cirencester & Marlborough 

Lovely day out up in to the beautiful countryside of the Cotswolds - hopefully cheered by some 

Spring flowers! Enjoy time in Cirencester, the largest town in the Cotswolds and quintessentially 

English. Wander through the narrow streets, lined with the typical stone houses of the region 

and plenty of independent shops. Highlights include the main Market Square with the impressive Parish Church of St. John Baptist and the lovely parks

Exeter 

With a rich history pre dating the Romans, Exeter has much to discover. We drop in the centre just around the corner from the magnificent 15th century 

Cathedral, one of the finest in England. Surrounded by a green open space lined by a mix of historic architecture from throughout the ages. There is a 

diverse selection of eateries in the city to suit everyone plus a superb range of shopping brands in Princesshay or a mix of independent shops and 

boutiques, cafes and bars in the cobbled Gandy Street. Stroll down to the rejuvenated historic Quayside area for some time out of the city. Only £25.00

London - Covent Garden 

Join our trip to Covent Garden in central London. At the heart of Covent Garden is the market with its quirky craft stalls, boutiques and restaurants. The 

central piazza has a thriving café culture and is buzzing with outlandish street entertainers and fun events all day, every day. Two of London's popular 

attractions - the London Transport Museum and The Royal Opera House stand grandly in Covent 

Garden and there's lots more shopping to be done in the surrounding streets. Plenty more to see

Otter Nurseries Garden Centre & West Bay 

Lovely day with a visit to this superb family run Garden Centre - located in Ottery St Mary close 

to Sidmouth in South Devon. One of the finest in the South West - the venue has become a 

regular and popular lunch stop for us on our holiday tours to the West Country. Great place to 

get some fresh ideas for the garden and a good restaurant serving freshly prepared food - for 

some, a highlight of the day. On the way out we have an extended stop in the charming, small 

coastal resort of West Bay as seen in TV series such as Broadchurch and dear old Reggie Perrin! Only £22.50

Winchester 

Winchester has so much to offer the visitor and has become a firm favourite with our customers for a relaxing day out - enjoying the sights, sounds and 

atmosphere of the city. Discover England's ancient Capital and former seat of King Alfred the Great. The city is packed with historic buildings and museums 

including the 11th Century Cathedral combined with tranquil green spaces and an array of interesting independent shops. Quick to get to and we drop in 

the centre. No parking charges, no hassle! Only £20.00

London - Knightsbridge Shopping & Museums 

Amazing value day excursion to the Capital. We drop in the centre of Knightsbridge, opposite the world famous Harrods department stores. There is a 

superb selection of shops in the area including designer outlets Harvey Nicholls, Emporio Armani and Burberry. If you fancy something special for lunch 

there are a number of high end restaurants to choose from, as well as a great choice of high street favourites. If shopping is not for you, some of the best 

museums in the country are clustered in the area with the amazing Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum all nearby -

array of antique silver pieces. The fair offers plenty of vintage fashion too - everything from 

vintage jackets & watches to Levi's denim. Perhaps the best bit is chatting to the Antiques 

Dealers and a chance to increase your knowledge! Really popular day out with our customers.

Mon 18th 

Battersea Power Station - Shopping & Leisure 

Like the site of the Tate Modern before it, Battersea Power Station has been transformed and 

regenerated - this time, in to a shopping and leisure facility. The four iconic towers remain and 

inside this spectacular building there are a host of shops to explore - some are high end, the likes 

of Mulberry and Chanel, but there art high street names such as Nike and M&S too. Over 140 

shops, bars, restaurants, leisure and entertainment venues, parks and historical spaces. If you 

fancy a view there is the opportunity to take the Chimney Lift to the top of the North West

Lytes Cary Manor is an intimate medieval manor house with a beautiful Arts and Crafts garden set in the Somerset countryside near Somerton. One of the 

National Trust's smaller properties but set it 350 acres. Originally the home of Henry Lyte and then restored in the 20th century by Sir Walter Jenner. In

SS Shieldhall - Steam to the Solent and see cruise ships depart

steam ship in Britain. This memorable 3 1/2 hour trip cruises down Southampton Water to the 

Solent passing the cruise ships in dock and on your return see a number of cruise ships depart. Schedule subject to alteration. As part of your cruise, see 

the impressive engine room with its original steam engines at work and the bridge, with its traditional instruments and gleaming brasswork. Admire the 

ship’s steam assisted steering gear (similar to that used on Titanic), talk to the Captain and crew, walk the teak decks and relax in the Saloon with a range of

Bombay Sapphire Distillery Tour + Winchester 

Come along for a tour of this remarkable site at Laverstoke in Hampshire. After stopping in 

Winchester, with time to explore and enjoy an early lunch, we arrive at the distillery around 

1.00pm. Bombay Sapphire is one of the worlds premium Gins with its production distillery 

beautifully situated in an historic old Mill on the River Test. It now offers a fascinating tour of the 

facility where you can discover the exotic botanicals grown in the striking Glasshouses, see the 

huge copper infusion Stills and explore the history of the drink. The experience culminates with 

a tasting in The Mill Bar. Self Discovery tour - on some sections we should be joined by a host.
