After breakfast, we visit the Waitangi Treaty Grounds for<br />

a private guided tour, cultural show and time to explore<br />

the least populated. We depart early for Mulifanua<br />

find traditional villages sitting alongside freshwater<br />

bathing pools fed by underground springs. This is the<br />

"real" Samoa. We visit Savai’i’s market, the famous<br />

Blowholes and Afuaau Waterfall. Packed lunch included.<br />

A day to relax at the resort. Tonight experience the<br />

amazing service at ‘Paddles Resturant’.<br />

A fascinating insight into Samoan culture and life. The<br />

boat leaves from Cape Lefatu, with views of the crater<br />

island of Apolima along the way. The island is entirely<br />

enclosed by a reef, with stunning crystal-clear water. On<br />

reaching Manono we will be greeted by our Samoan<br />

hosts for a briefing on Samoan customs and etiquette.<br />

Transfer to Mannum for our Captain Cook 4 night Murray<br />

River Cruise. Mid-afternoon the Murray Princess departs<br />

historic Mannum and heads downriver while you enjoy a<br />

Welcome Dinner. As we cruise under floodlight to our<br />

overnight mooring at Caurnamont, you may see nocturnal<br />

wildlife on the riverbank. Watch for kangaroos, hairy<br />

nosed wombats, tortoises, egrets and many other species.<br />

Blanchetown through one of 13 locks which maintain the<br />

opposite to the township of Blanchetown for our overnight<br />

anchorage. As the last rays of the sun fade, we visit Burk<br />

growers. Cruise downriver after lunch to Sunnydale, it’s all<br />

ashore for the Woolshed Show. Later we visit the Native<br />

Wildlife Shelter where some of South Australia’s most<br />

interesting native animals are cared for. Enjoy a great<br />

After Breakfast the vessel cruises slowly downriver past<br />

magnificent cliffs scoured by the river over millions of<br />

years. We reach Ngaut Ngaut Aboriginal Reserve, one of<br />

step back in time – tens of thousands of years .We return<br />

to the vessel to cruise downriver to Younghusband. Along<br />

the way, adventure seekers can also take a scenic tender<br />

scenic coastline via Opunake Beach back to New<br />

We begin our day by travelling south to Stratford. Admire<br />

the glockenspiel playing a scene from Shakespeare’s<br />

Romeo and Juliet then we travel to Hawera to visit the<br />

Tawhiti Museum - widely regarded as the best private<br />

museum in NZ. We then travel back to New Plymouth via<br />

Surf Highway 45. Dinner tonight at the hotel.<br />

Today we depart New Plymouth for morning tea at<br />

Cairnhill gardens. We head toward Whangamomona and<br />

then carry along the Forgotten Highway and arrive into<br />

Free morning in Taupo and this afternoon we head out on<br />

for a cruise around picturesque Great Lake Taupo and its<br />

Tongariro National Park as a backdrop. Enjoy close-up<br />

views of the Maori Rock Carvings from the large outdoor<br />

decks as you learn about Lake Taupo’s cultural and<br />

volcanic history.<br />

Time to get started back to Auckland with a visit to the<br />

Huka Falls with nearly a quarter of a million litres of water<br />

per second erupting from a natural gorge and thundering<br />

11m into the Waikato River below. Continue north through<br />

the Waikato farmlands for lunch with Penny Diprose at<br />

Rosenvale‘s Tranquil and lush gardens. Arrive back in<br />

Mt. Rinjani, Indonesia's second highest peak, a<br />

level. The Lombok Strait is part of the Wallace Line - a<br />

and fauna of East Indonesia and Australia from West<br />

Arrive Penang Island on the NW coast of the Malaysian<br />

Light persuaded the Sultan of Kedah to cede Pulau<br />

Pinang - the "Isle of Betel nut" - to the English crown.<br />

Legend has it that Light persuaded his men to clear the<br />

overgrown island of Penang by firing a cannon filled<br />

with gold coins into the jungle as an incentive. The<br />

island was renamed Prince of Wales Island, and its<br />

major town was christened Georgetown after King<br />

George III. Penang quickly became a major trading port<br />

for tea, spices, china and cloth. Here European,<br />

Malaysian, Hindu, Arabic and Chinese cultures met,<br />

melded and flourished. Today George Town is a<br />

cosmopolitan city that has preserved its unique<br />

heritage and its exotic blend of cultures.George Town is<br />

perhaps the best-preserved city in Southeast Asia. It<br />

boasts a European-style esplanade and a wealth of<br />

temples, mosques and Chinese clan houses. Listed as a<br />

UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 2008, this virgin<br />

paradise has no shortage of cultural sights and natural<br />

Arrive Port Klang and venture into Kuala Lumpur the<br />

Kuala Lumpur, the capital city has grown into a<br />

fascinating metropolis. Steel and glass towers stand<br />

side by side with graceful stone colonial buildings and<br />

commercial, financial, economic and cultural heart of<br />

Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur (better known as KL), is a<br />
