over 25 years, picking up through the<br />
local area from Poole <strong>to</strong> New Mil<strong>to</strong>n.<br />
Most of the destinations are tried & tested<br />
and we are always looking out for<br />
somewhere new and exciting!<br />

Most of the day excursions allow for<br />
around 4 1/2 hours at the destination<br />
although this does vary slightly on some<br />
trips. Please check the timings when<br />

We will make every effort <strong>to</strong> carry out the programme and itineraries as advertised but must reserve the right <strong>to</strong><br />
cancel any excursion or alter routes, timings or s<strong>to</strong>pping places without prior notice due <strong>to</strong> circumstances beyond<br />
our control. We will not be responsible for any additional costs you may incur if trips do not operate or are delayed.<br />

Mottisfont Estate & Garden - National Trust<br />
Mottisfont, near Romsey is a lovely country home surrounded by a large estate and parkland.<br />
Maud Russell made Mottisfont her home in the 1930s, bringing artists here <strong>to</strong> relax and work –<br />
the extraordinary drawing-room was painted by artist Rex Whistler. Enjoy a stroll along the<br />
sparkling River Test which runs through the estate and the colours of the season. The gardens<br />
are particularly renowned for their Rose collection. Plenty of time <strong>to</strong> explore plus there is an<br />
excellent cafe/restaurant or you may like <strong>to</strong> picnic in the grounds. Price includes entrance.<br />

Tue 2nd<br />
Sea<strong>to</strong>n Tramway & Jurassic Coast<br />
Situated at the gateway <strong>to</strong> the Jurassic Coast of Devon, Sea<strong>to</strong>n is a small coastal <strong>to</strong>wn. Free time <strong>to</strong> take a look around the independent gift and craft shops,<br />
have a stroll along the level seafront and find somewhere for lunch. In the afternoon, meet up at the Sea<strong>to</strong>n Tramway Station where we have included a<br />
return journey on this unique attraction. It is a 30 minute ride on the tram which travels up the beautiful River Axe estuary <strong>to</strong> Coly<strong>to</strong>n Station. Step back in<br />
time at this his<strong>to</strong>ric station, sympathetically res<strong>to</strong>red and time for a cup of tea and a look around the souvenir shop before reboarding the tram for the<br />

amazed. There are stunning views around the grounds with gothic temples, monuments, rare<br />

Beautifully situated in the lovely West Sussex countryside this superb open air museum includes<br />

them. The site has recently shot <strong>to</strong> prominence as the sit of the hit BBC series - The Repair Shop.<br />

Montacute House - National Trust<br />
This magnificent Elizabethan Mansion House located in South Somerset is constructed in local<br />

the beautiful formal gardens are perfect for a stroll and include a collection of roses, mixed<br />

The vast late 17th-century mansion is set in a beautiful 283-hectare (700-acre) deer park, landscaped by 'Capability' Brown and immortalised in Turner's<br />
paintings. Inside, the house contains the National Trust's finest collection of pictures, with numerous works by Turner, Van Dyck, Reynolds and Blake,<br />
ancient and Neo-classical sculpture, fine furniture and carvings by Grinling Gibbons. The<br />
servants' quarters contain fascinating kitchens (including a copper batterie de cuisine of more<br />

A treat for all ages and a very welcome return <strong>to</strong> our programme!! We board the beautifully<br />
res<strong>to</strong>red Swanage Railway at Norden with views of Corfe Castle, for a nostalgic steam train ride<br />
through the beautiful Purbecks <strong>to</strong> Swanage. Enjoy free time in this unique, attractive seaside<br />
resort. Plenty of shops <strong>to</strong> explore - find somewhere nice for lunch or take a picnic <strong>to</strong> have down<br />
on the beach or along the front. Head back <strong>to</strong> Swanage Station <strong>to</strong> board the train back <strong>to</strong><br />

Lovely day out <strong>to</strong> enjoy the beautiful scenery of West Dorset and East Devon before s<strong>to</strong>pping at the excellent Hare & Hounds Pub near Sidmouth. This<br />
traditional country pub has wooden beams and log fires with lovely views down <strong>to</strong> Sidmouth and the sea. We have included a delicious carvery with an<br />
extensive choice of fresh vegetables, gravy and extras. Pudding is available on the day for an additional cost. Afterwards we shall head in <strong>to</strong> Sidmouth with<br />

Hamble River Cruise with Coffee, Cake & Free Time!<br />
An excellent local day out <strong>to</strong> Southamp<strong>to</strong>n and a break from the norm! We head straight <strong>to</strong> Ocean Village in Southamp<strong>to</strong>n and board one of the excellent<br />
Blue Funnel pleasure boats for a lovely 2 hour cruise along Southamp<strong>to</strong>n Water. Turning up the beautiful Hamble River with views of the yachting marina<br />
made famous by the 80s TV show, 'Howard's Way' - remember that? - big hair and shoulder<br />
pads. During your time on board we have included a nice cup of coffee or tea and chef's cake! A<br />
very enjoyable trip. Returning <strong>to</strong> Southamp<strong>to</strong>n at lunchtime we drop you at West Quay shopping<br />

Situated at the gateway <strong>to</strong> the Jurassic Coast of Devon, Sea<strong>to</strong>n is a small coastal <strong>to</strong>wn. Free time<br />

Oxfordshire Cotswolds with extensive grounds, Buscot Park is the family home of Lord<br />
Faringdon. Built in the Italianate country houses style between 1780 and 1783, the estate has a<br />
variety of attractions - from formal gardens <strong>to</strong> woodlands. There are plenty of lovely viewpoints<br />
and a selection of architectural sculptures adds interest <strong>to</strong> your visit. The house does not<br />
disappoint and houses the wonderful Faringdon Collection of fine paintings and furniture<br />
collected over a century. With paintings by Rembrandt, Reynolds, Rubens, Van Dyck and Murillo<br />
