for media musicians in the future.

OUR ASPIRATION
At the JAM MUSIC LAB Private University in Vienna, students take centre stage.
Our aim is to prepare students for the current challenges of their profession. Our
teachers have been working in the music industry for years. Our graduates are
Amadeus Award winners, work in Hollywood or in their own recording studios in
Vienna.

FILM AND GAMES MUSIC
Composers and sound designers play an important role in the
production of audiovisual media. Streaming services such as
Netflix and Amazon Prime produce a lot of content to meet the
high demand for new series and films. Music also plays an
important role in games, radio and cinema. This course will give
you everything you need to become part of this exciting industry.

BACHELOR PROGRAMME
The Bachelor's degree in Music with a major in Media
Music / Film Scoring and Music Production provides
comprehensive training in the various areas of
applied media music - such as film, theatre and
advertising music, audio branding and sound design
as well as music for computer games.
Type of study: Bachelor programme
Duration: 8 semesters
Workload: 240 ECTS
Degree: Bachelor of Arts in Music (BA-M)

MASTER PROGRAMME
The Master's degree in Music with a major in Media
Music / Film Scoring and Music Production builds on
the qualifications acquired in the Bachelor's degree
and offers you the opportunity to further develop
and specialise your skills in the various fields of
film, theatre and advertising music, audio branding
and sound design as well as music for computer
games.
Type of study: Master programme
