and a sustainable approach have been at the heart of Fletco’s production

of high-quality carpets. Founded as a family-owned business, Fletco is

mindful of the company’s proud heritage and guided by the values that

have driven development since day one: precision, quality, innovation and

care for the environment at every stage of the process. We always strive to

be at the forefront of technological advances and new environmental

standards.

Danish production and in-house test lab ensure long durability

Today, Fletco Carpets is a specialist in flat-woven carpets and one of

Europe’s leading suppliers to the international contract market. The

company is also both an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and

White Label manufacturer of carpets for many high-end design brands

around the world. In addition to weaving and tufting, our production

facilities also include dyeing, backing and an in-house test lab. Our top

priority is to see quality materialized in every single carpet. Backings made

of eco-friendly felt, textile or foam along with unsurpassed stability and

first-rate wearability are key elements in ensuring the long durability of a

Fletco carpet.

Weaving craft with a human touch

We are proud of our modern, advanced production equipment, with looms

and tufting machines that have been continually developed to produce

carpets in the most rational and efficient way. The same is true of the other

high-efficiency machines we use to produce the carpets. However, even

the most technically advanced looms require skilled human operators who

master their craft to perfection. Keen eyes monitoring the machines, deft

hands threading them manually – and rethreading them if the strand

breaks – and, not least, experienced and creative master weavers who

create Fletco’s timeless yet distinctive carpet design based on carefully

selected materials, functional priorities and the full potential of the loom.

From yarn to carpet in subtle colourways

Creating world-class carpets requires top-quality raw materials. That is why

most of our carpets are made from our own proprietary yarns made from

white filaments or fibres that are Intermingled and twisted. We do this to

ensure the high level of quality and subtle colourways that have become

hallmarks of Fletco carpets. To avoid waste, meet individual customer

demands and ensure fast delivery, most of our carpet designs are woven in

white yarn. Subsequently, the carpet is dyed in our own plant, where we

can dye the precise amount required for a specific project, whether the

order is for 200 or 20,000 square metres.

LOCKTILES ®

Carpet tiles with a seamless look

LockTiles® is a patented laser cutting method. With carpet tiles cut in the LockTiles® shape, you can obtain a flooring surface with nearly invisible joints and

with an exceptionally good dimensional stability. The laser cut edges interlock around each other and fit together in all directions. The tiles are easy to

replace, should a small area be soiled beyond cleaning.

Available in Stellar, Nordic and COM 1000

To obtain the broadloom look with carpet tiles, this sets great demands to the density and pile height of the carpet. The LockTiles® cut is currently

available upon demand and in COM 1000, Nordic and Stellar. Surcharge apply.

structure that captures the depth of the cosmos, where stars and other celestial bodies appear on a dark background of infinity and eternity.

STELLAR is the essence of a sustainable, beautiful and hardwearing carpet, made of 100% recycled Econyl® yarn. This flat-woven carpet has a low, dense

weave that gives it a soft, pleasant quality.

Available as square carpet tiles, ZigZag-Tiles® and LockTiles® – our patented concept that allows for a perfect installation with minimally visible joints and a

homogeneous expression. STELLAR LockTiles® won the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD 2024.

With its Nordic simplicity, based on proud weaving traditions, this carpet is a beautiful choice at all times and for any type of commercial project. Like most

Fletco carpets, Nordic is woven of white, undyed yarn and dyed after weaving, which offers a high degree of flexibility for specific commissions, a wider

colour range and the possibility of custom colours.

Honeycomb patterns and biodiversity

Striking modular carpet collection created in collaboration with the international design brand Yo 2 and named after the Latin word for bees. The design

development drew inspiration from the significance of bees for nature and biodiversity, and the beautiful geometric pattern of the Apis collection takes its

unmistakeable inspiration from the honeycomb where the bees store their sweet honey.

The Apis collection is a celebration of the vitality and ever-changing forms of nature and consists of three designs: Alpha, Beta and Gamma, which have

varying degrees of colour saturation and are rich in the art of suggestion. In Alpha, the geometric pattern is barely visible on the rustic background, while it

is most distinct in Gamma. Each design is beautiful in itself but takes on additional life when the patterns are combined. The carpet tiles are available in

four sizes and are randomly laid without a pattern repeat. Apis lends the floor a unique and dynamic expression with natural patina from day one. In

combination with sublime wearability, this will keep the carpet looking beautiful for many years to come.

Award-winning modular collection by the acclaimed British designer Sebastian Wrong, who has given the traditional carpet tile a modern and unique

aesthetic expression using digitally printed colours. The visual depth of Layers by Sebastian Wrong® has been brought to life in an innovative process,

where linear patterns are interlaced and emerge layer by layer, reminiscent of the layers of volcanic ash in the moler cliffs on the small Danish island

of Fur, which offer a glimpse into our prehistoric past.

This unique collection of carpet tiles includes 13 digitally printed colours and two shapes – planks and tiles – that can be combined as desired. The colour

scale was curated by Sebastian Wrong and carefully matched to allow for a wide range of beautiful colour combinations that go hand in hand with the

design elements of a project.

Ex-Dono Quartet is a contract carpet that combines wearability and good acoustic properties with an expression of natural poetry. The coarse pile is tufted

in a staggered pattern full of artistic vigour and details, as if the carpet were a flowery meadow in all its poetic exuberance, with flowers and grasses

representing the rich diversity of life.

The organic appearance of the carpet is underscored with muted tone-on-tone colourways. This gives Ex-Dono Quartet a beautiful, mottled expression

that adds subtle character to historical architectural interiors as well as new builds. Thanks to the high, tufted pile, the carpet is soft underfoot and

With its stringent design and robust weave, Chain is true to the elegance and venerable history of weaving. The interweaving of warp and weft brings the

flat-woven carpet to life. In addition to the continued chain of weaving history, the name also refers to another significant invention, namely the bicycle

chain. Denmark has more bicycles per capita than any other country in the world, cycling is a natural part of our culture – and many people use the bicycle

as their primary mode of transport, to the benefit of both people and the environment.

Chain is made of 100% recycled Econyl® yarn. In combination with the durable

design and sublime wearability, this makes the flat-woven carpet well suited for

design, interior and architectural projects where sustainability goes hand in hand

with aesthetics and uncompromising quality.

Duo is classical flat-woven carpet designs based on proud traditions of weaving craftsmanship and characterized by extreme durability and a subtle weave.

The elegant, almost minimalist expression with clean, straight lines brings to mind the countless fields throughout the Danish landscape, which follow the

same orderly pattern, year after year, as they have for generations.

With their harmonious surface, Duo complement modern and more traditional architecture equally well. Duo is defined by uniform lines, while Duo

presents a two-part linear expression with both wide and narrow lines. The design is available in a broad palette of standard colours ranging from classic

Højer Kontrakt® Original is, in every regard, a classic, original design in the category of tufted carpets. This woollen carpet is a bouclé weave with small,

dense loops on the surface and has been in production in Denmark since 1899. The carpet design is named after the town of Højer, which is located at the

edge of the Tøndermarsken marshlands, surrounded by grazing sheep and in close proximity to the seawalls and wide open lands near the Wadden Sea – a

UNESCO World Heritage site in south-western Denmark.

The timeless Højer Kontrakt® Original carpet has been part of Fletco’s collection since 2013 and is made of top-quality New Zealand wool. The hand-dyed

yarn has a unique melange effect that highlights the natural play of colours in the sheep’s wool. While this is especially pronounced in the beige and grey

notes, the intrinsic beauty of the wool yarn is also evident in the more saturated colours and brings a warm feel to the interior.

We believe firmly that using nature’s resources in manufacturing obliges us to be as responsible as possible.

This means that top quality is a key priority in every part of our product development and manufacturing

processes. To us, sustainability is not an abstract concept but a concrete part of what we do every day.

We take the lead by embracing new production methods and materials with the ambition of going above and

beyond the current standards in the carpet industry. And we go into detail to create durable carpets based on

versatile, classic designs and uncompromising quality standards to make sure they will stay beautiful for many

years to come. To us, this is the essence of sustainability.

We use recycled materials whenever possible: the carpet backing is made of recycled plastic bottles, the

carpet tubes are made of recycled plastic, and even the smallest bit of yarn is recycled along with cardboard

and other scraps from our production to avoid wasting resources. Since 2016, we have contributed to the

green transition in Denmark and bought fully CO 2

-neutral wind power equivalent to our annual energy

consumption.

many of the general certifications designed to help architects, distributors and consumers around the world

choose sustainable products. However, certifications are only part of what makes Fletco’s carpets a safe and

responsible choice when it comes to looking after both global and indoor climate.

We take responsibility for planet and people by creating quality products with long durability and – across all

our certifications – using common sense as our most important guide in navigating the complex concerns in

relation to total climate footprint and environmental impact.

AIR QUALITY

Thanks to our innovative production equipment, all our carpets are made without the use of bitumen, latex,

PVC, PFAS or other harmful substances that have traditionally been part of carpet production.

We care about indoor climate and air quality, with low emission of air pollutants as a key factor. All our

contract carpets carry the Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold label for complying with the strictest requirements

for the emission of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). This umbrella certification encompasses the most

significant and far-reaching voluntary European environmental certificates, including Cradle to Cradle, the

Nordic Swan Ecolabel, Danish Indoor Climate Labelling and, partially, M1. The Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold

certificate is thus accepted on a par with voluntary international environmental certifications such as BREEAM

and LEED in environmentally sustainable construction.

All our contract carpets have EPDs (Environmental Product Declaration) that document the individual

product’s environmental impact and thus provide the necessary data for calculating the total environmental

impact of an interior or building project. The EPDs are based on international ISO standards and are

third-party-verified.

For years, CO 2

emission has been the dominant focus, but it is just a small component of the many, mostly

harmful greenhouse gases that are emitted over a product’s lifecycle. CO 2

e – carbon dioxide equivalent – is a

measure of the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions over the full lifecycle of a product.

Why PEF? To ensure mutually comparable CO 2

e assessments, the EU has established a new calculation

method called PEF (Product Environmental Footprint), which contains predefined measures for all aspects of

the PEF. Thus, if any data is missing, worst-case figures will be applied.

Compared with the EPD, the PEF can often contribute twice as many points to building certifications as

BREEAM and LEED, because the broader data input makes the calculations more accurate.

We have PEF reports for all our contract qualities. By choosing contract carpets whose CO 2

e impact is based on

PEF calculations you will automatically meet the documentation requirements for your company’s CSRD

reporting.

CONTRIBUTION

TO THE GREEN

TRANSITION

Wind-generated electricity causes no CO 2

or particle emissions. In order to contribute to the green transition

in Denmark, our production facilities are powered by fully CO 2

-neutral Danish wind energy.

In 2020, we installed a geothermal system to reduce our consumption of fossil fuels. Most of the waste heat

from our production facility is captured and utilized. For example, we recover and use heat from our tile

production and compressors to heat our buildings.

We are continually looking into new possibilities, and when we develop new carpet qualities, we always aim to

reduce our CO 2

e emissions without compromising on quality.
