2023

Kids for the Kingdom is transforming the living

conditions and spiritual lives of children around the world

so they can transform their communities for Christ

Dear Ministry Partners,

Thank you for your prayers and continued support for

Kids for the Kingdom! Every day I speak to our indigenous

teams around the world to help them, encourage them,

or sometimes just to talk with them about their ministries.

Often our local directors are apologetic when they call

saying, “I am always asking for your support so I can

help people in my community”. Each time I tell them,

“Don’t apologize, your job is to tell me about the needs

in your local community and my job is to support you.”

I sometimes use the example of an army and its critical

components that support the front line soldiers battling

the enemy in the trenches. Without this essential logistics

support, no army can function for long. Kids for the

Kingdom’s indigenous teams are the ‘soldiers’ on the

front line in ‘combat’ winning souls for Jesus, and we are

the logistics supply line supporting them. We may not be

physically battling in the trenches with them, but we can

pray, send support, and encourage them through our

partnership with their local ministries. Your gifts, prayers,

and support are a critical piece of the ‘logistical supply

line’ for Kids for the Kingdom’s workers in the field. They

enable our indigenous teams to minister to the sick,

hurting, downtrodden, widows, orphans, and children that

Jesus commanded us to serve. Thank you for your faithful

gifts, prayers, and support; each of you is part of the team

that works to minister to 443,521 children in 19 countries

around the world! Each gift means life-giving water,

necessities, and nutritious meals as well as the Good News

of the Gospel message for all to hear!

Thank you for partnering with us,

Timothy Dabel

Executive Director

CLEAN WATER

PROJECTS

For the past 25 years, every time a new water project is dedicated in rural Kenya,

National Director David Maina shares Jesus’s words to the Samaritan woman at

the well from John 4:13-14: “Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will

be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed,

the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal

life.” This is the Gospel message in the most basic terms. Each time someone draws

water from that well they are reminded that ‘Jesus is the living water.’ When Jesus

saw the Samaritan woman at the well, he knew her story and she was amazed. Her

reaction is not unlike the response of the local people at the receiving end of a new

clean-water project. At each project, Kids for the Kingdom’s teams bring hope and

life-giving clean water but most importantly, hear the truth of the Gospel Message,

along with the practical aid of a new water project. Clean water projects can impact

over one thousand children and vulnerable people with a relatively small investment

from just a few hundred dollars for a water tank all the way up more complex systems

that help entire villages.

“LIKE COLD WATER TO

A THIRSTY SOUL, SO

IS GOOD NEWS FROM

A FAR COUNTRY.”-

PROVERBS 25:25

“For a long time, my village only had access

to dirty and disease-ridden water. But

because of Kids for the Kingdom’s Clean Water

ministry, we now have clean water and I can

spend my day in school rather than walking

long distances to collect water for my family.

41,066 other people like me are drinking clean

water thanks to Kids for the Kingdom.”

BIBLE

CLUBS

JESUS SAID, “LET THE

LITTLE CHILDREN COME

TO ME, AND DO NOT

HINDER THEM, FOR THE

KINGDOM OF HEAVEN

BELONGS TO SUCH AS

THESE.”- MATTHEW 19:14

Matthew 28:18-20, commonly known as the ‘Great

Commission’ verse, is a command from Jesus to “go

unto all the earth and tell them the Gospel Message”.

This Good News is for everyone, not just some of us.

Kids for the Kingdom’s primary goal is to bring the

Good News Jesus spoke of to the world, just as He

commanded us. Our theme verse is Matthew 19:14

- “let the little children come to me…” In order to do

both of those things, we primarily work with children

around the world. We know that they have a hunger

to know God’s word, and they are uniquely situated

to absorb the truths of the scripture. At our new Bible

club in Nepal, the kids are already memorizing two

different scriptures each week. They earn prizes,

have a nutritious meal, play games and have fun.

Kids for the Kingdom’s teams love to make learning

about the Gospel fun and entertaining!

At my local Kids for the Kingdom

Bible Club, I gather with other

kids from my neighborhood to

learn about Jesus. But my teacher

tells me that there are 328,390

other children around the world

who also go to Bible Clubs just like

mine!

KIDS FOR THE KINGDOM IS TRANSFORMING

THE LIVING CONDITIONS AND SPIRITUAL

LIVES OF CHILDREN AROUND THE

WORLD SO THEY CAN TRANSFORM THEIR

COMMUNITIES FOR CHRIST

“FOR I WAS HUNGRY AND

YOU GAVE ME FOOD, I WAS

THIRSTY AND YOU GAVE ME

DRINK, I WAS A STRANGER

AND YOU WELCOMED ME,”

- MATTHEW 25:35

“I love coming to Kids for the Kingdom’s Bible

club and feeding program! I look forward

to games, treats, a good meal, and hearing

about Jesus who loves me and died on the cross

for my sins! There are over 50 kids in my Bible

club in the Tres Rios community, we are so

happy to see Ana and Darwin when they come

to teach us about Jesus!” My teacher said there

are thousands of kids around the world just

like me coming to Kids for the Kingdom’s Bible

clubs and feeding programs.”

FEEDING

PROGRAMS

At Kids for the Kingdom’s programs around the world, our teams combine meeting

physical needs with providing the message of God’s Word to every child. At each

feeding program, children are provided with a nutritious meal to fill their tummies and

the Word of God to fill their hearts. Costa Rica National Director Ana Cecilia is putting

this philosophy into action by incorporating a simple but powerful practice into her

feeding programs.

“On each meal box, I always write a Biblical truth or Bible verse about Jesus’s love

for His children.” says Ana. It’s a small gesture, but it ensures that before the children

enjoy their much-anticipated meal, they get to know the truth that God created them,

loves them, saves them, and provides for them.

At first, there were just 40 children. Now Ana Cecilia and her team minister to over

150 children each month and hold three programs at various locations. Every week,

new communities are asking for their teams to come and minister to the children in

their area. Ana Cecilia says, “We thank God for giving us the privilege of being able

to serve, share and carry the message of Jesus to children and parents, we want

everyone to know the love of Jesus Christ and hear the Gospel Message.”

After each child enjoys their hot, nutritious meal, the team also shares the warm,

satisfying Word of God through Bible instruction, teaching, praise songs, skits, crafts,

and Bible stories. These children are hungry for food, and their little hearts are

desperate for the Good News of the gospel message. At a simple feeding program,

Kids for the Kingdom meets both those needs at the same time.

DISASTER

RELIEF

Kids for the Kingdom’s teams always stand ready to assist

survivors during times of regional crisis or natural disaster.

We have contacts and workers in places around the world.

They have been first responders to earthquakes in Nepal

and Nicaragua, famine conditions in Kenya and South

Sudan, flood victims in Pakistan, tsunami survivors in India

and Sri Lanka, and hurricane victims in Louisiana, USA,

Nicaragua, India, and El Salvador. After the disaster, our

teams train local volunteers to ensure follow-up aid and

long-term programs are in place for years to come. Our

teams provide relief through hot, nutritious meals, necessary

supplies, water, clothing, and the Gospel. Afterward, we

also work to rebuild homes and family businesses.

“THE LORD IS GOOD, A REFUGE IN TIMES OF

TROUBLE. HE CARES FOR THOSE WHO TRUST

IN HIM.” - NAHUM 1:7

VOCATIONAL

TRAINING

I attend Kids for the Kingdom Vocational

Training in Nepal. Now, I am learning a

valuable skill and have strong community.

After I graduate from this program, I

hope to start my own business.

While most of Kids for the Kingdom’s programs are designed to

impact children directly our teams are also faced with many single

mothers in their communities working long hours at low-paying

jobs to support their families. Kids for the Kingdom Nepal national

directors David and Mariya saw an opportunity to help the women

of their local community gain real marketable skills as professionally

trained tailors so they could take care of their families while working

flexible hours. At the project, there is just enough room for 6 ladies

and their sewing machines to squeeze into the small shed outside

the church. The ladies learn sewing, tailoring, and making and

repairing typical local clothing. Once trained they can make a living

working from home and care for their families while sewing and

tailoring. Kids for the Kingdom’s other vocational training programs

around the world have produced architects, computer science

experts, carpenters, mechanics, jewelers, and more. Now we can

add tailors in Nepal to the list!

“WHATEVER YOU DO, WORK AT IT WITH ALL YOUR

HEART, AS WORKING FOR THE LORD, NOT FOR

HUMAN MASTERS, SINCE YOU KNOW THAT YOU

WILL RECEIVE AN INHERITANCE FROM THE LORD AS A

REWARD. IT IS THE LORD CHRIST YOU ARE SERVING.”

- COLOSSIANS 3:23-24
