Travis Chambers is a dedicated community leader committed to<br />
advancing economic and workforce development in Columbus and<br />
su<strong>rr</strong>ounding areas. A proven leader, Travis has built bridges across<br />
diverse sectors locally and statewide.<br />
He is an alumnus and past Trustee of Leadership Georgia, and cu<strong>rr</strong>ently<br />
serves on the Economic Development Authority and Workforce<br />
Development Committee. He has chaired the Columbus Technical<br />
College Board of Trustees, Columbus Library Foundation Board, and<br />
the Columbus Board of Realtors Circle of Excellence Committee. Travis<br />
has significantly influenced decisions positively impacting Columbus<br />
and the region. His memberships include the Planning and Advisory<br />
Commission, Valley Partnership Development Authority, Georgia Chamber<br />
of Commerce, and National Association of Realtors. A nearly 20-year<br />
member of the Rotary Club of Columbus, he has chaired several<br />
community projects and served as Program Chair and Board Member.<br />
Professionally, Travis has experience as a small business owner, corporate<br />
leader, and non-profit executive. He co-founded Prestige Property Brokers,<br />
LLC, and held key roles at Synovus and TSYS. Cu<strong>rr</strong>ently, he is the Vice<br />
President of People Services at Goodwill Southern Rivers.<br />
Travis is a St. Francis Fellowship Program graduate, Leadership Columbus<br />
alumnus, and recipient of numerous awards, including Small Business<br />
Entrepreneur of the Year. Ma<strong>rr</strong>ied for 33 years, he and his wife Kia have<br />
three adult sons and one grandson. He is a devoted member of Omega<br />
Psi Phi Fraternity and New Destiny Church International.<br />
