child. <strong>Arts</strong> training, mentorship from working artists, career<br />

New Jersey are some of the initiatives advanced by the<br />

Learn and explore the world behind the scenes<br />
of theater. Young artists will investigate<br />
several areas of theatrical production from<br />
theater and shop safety, scenic design<br />
fundamentals and set construction, basic<br />
operation of lighting and sound technology<br />
and exploration of career opportunities in<br />
the technical theater world. Together with<br />
professional teaching artists, hands-on learning<br />
and masterclasses with IATSE Professionals,<br />
this program will introduce the vast world<br />
of technical theater. This year long program<br />
requires 4 hours of classroom learning and will<br />
build and manage the theatrical productions<br />
for the spring performances. Year-long students<br />
are eligible to take the USITT examination.<br />

Learn the magic behind a musical theater<br />

bring their confidence on stage. For the fall<br />
semester, Musical Theater students can also<br />
