Vice President and Presidential candidate Kamala 

Harris has taken the nation by a massive blue 

wave. And if the excitement and enthusiasm weren’t 

already high, adding respected and beloved 

Governor Tim Walz as her running mate has taken 

the campaign to levels unseen since at least the 

first Obama campaign. 

Democrats are in array and republicans are 

floundering by choice since they decided to stick 

with felon Trump. 

In this issue we get to know everyone’s favorite vicepresidential 

candidate, Governor Tim Walz, and we 

look at his career and accomplishments. We peak 

into why VP Kamala Harris chose him among the 

great options she had and look at the some of the 

many accomplishments of VP Harris over the past 

few years.

Joe Biden wasn’t in the senate for fifty years 

learning nothing. He outmaneuvered Rep Pelosi, 

and used his savvy and smarts to put VP Harris in 

front of the nation and watched as she used her 

smarts and savvy to shore of the nomination in a 

just a few days. 

President Biden’s last few months in office will 

be both productive and sad as the nation says 

goodbye to one of the greatest politicians of any 

era. 

Respect and gratitude, kind sir.

announced, her dedicated followers and new 

followers who saw how effective she was as 

Biden’s VP, rallied the nation and helped raise over 

a half-billion dollars in just a few weeks.

COMEBACK OF 

GOOD WHITE MEN 


Gov/VP candidate Tim Walz is in a way white men’s 

Obama opportunity. Obama took back an image 

that was damaged by racism, but for Walz it’s the 

damage to everyday white men done by magaland. 

So many white people, especially men, 

identifying him w/their dads is significant. You see 

it across social media: “He reminds me of my dad. 

He’s like my favorite uncle. My grandpa” These are 

the white men white democrats have loudly told 

the rest of us: “Not all” And they were right, and 

shouted down because maga hogs the airwaves 

and threatened us. 

Tim is a reminder of something we all have 

experienced-including non-white people simply 

because of demographics: a friend who’s white, coworker, 

neighbor, relative, teacher. I know so many 

and occasionally have written about “Good white 

men” needing to be louder than magas. 

We’re seeing a joining of the most powerful 

demographic -white men- with the least powerful- 

Black women. The blowback from billionaires and 

those who hate is not to be ignored because this 

union meets and, in my opinion, exceeds America’s 

promise. 

We’re so patriarchal we exclusively focus on white 

men versus Black men. The real battle has actually 

always been White men versus Black women. 

Our DNA is proof of so much, not the least of which 

is our 20-40% European ancestry which tells the 

stories American education refuses to fully tell. 

Reconciliation between White men and Black 

women doesn’t erase history, but it restarts it from 

a place of equality 

Well, here he is. And look at the reception by white 

people, especially white men. When you’re seeing 

Utah, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and famous people 

joining the Kamala/Walz locomotive. We’re seeing 

history behavioral shifts that can/will change all 

facets of America. 

This is our chance to right wrongs, course correct, 

work together, build to, and restart from a place of 

truth and trust. 

Harris/Walz gives America the fresh start that it 

desperately needs.

Governor Tim Walz was selected as VP Harris’ running 

mate, and she could not have made a better pick. 

There were many democrats who were under 

consideration for VP – Pete Buttigieg, Gretchen 

Whitmer, Josh Shapiro, and a couple others. 

The democratic bench is strong, and VP Harris had a 

tough job deciding on who would best partner with her 

to win the election. 

Kamala took her time, as most experienced hiring 

managers will do, and carefully vetted each candidate. 

She interviewed her top candidates and ultimately 

decided that Gov Walz was the best choice. 

She said he was loyal to President Biden – as she has 

been for four years and through the brutal campaign 

that forced him to withdraw from the race, VP Harris 

was said to be impressed by how Gov Walz stood up 

for the president. 

In Gov Walz, Kamala gets a well-regarded Governor 

who is respected by all other governors, including 

republicans. He is a Nebraska born and raised 

Midwest stalwart, who hunts, fishes, and icefishes. He 

was a farmer, enlisted and served 24 years in the 

military, was a social science teacher and football 

coach, and he and his wife used IVF to conceive and 

birth their daughter Hope. 

He is an “Everyman” who exudes kindness, honesty, 

and authenticity. He is as much the opposite of J.D. 

Vance as Kamala is to Trump. 

With VP Kamala’s polls surging before announcing 

Walz, she really went for a electoral college blowout by 

adding a man who has put Florida, Texas, and Ohio in 

play for democrats, adding to his expected shoring up 

of Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona for democrats. 

That Gov Tim Walz is being likened to a favorite 

uncle, teacher, neighbor, and co-woker is a 

great sign for democrats and Americans who 

are tired of nasty, mean, and constantly 

negative republican men who hate everything 

and everyone not like themselves. 

Democrats are running a joyful and fun 

campaign that focuses on moving forward, not 

going back, and by improving life for everyone, 

not just the elite. 

Harris/Walz are presenting a fresh perspective 

to voters, and they are doing so by focusing on 

positive behaviors and not hate. 

America was and is ready for just such a 

presidential team.

study for one man who decided to drive ride-share while looking for a new professional 

management position. Recently laid off from his job and intrigued by the people he might meet 

(and the money he might make), the author unwittingly became the anonymous confidant for 

men, women, nonbinary people, and children. Unfortunately for him, he also became the 

innocent target of people who couldn’t hold their liquor, others who couldn’t hold their temper, 

and at least one who couldn’t keep his hands to himself. 

Little did they know they were in the Prius of a writer, who would be able to look in the rear view 

and tell their stories. 

This collection of anecdotes is non-judgmental, full of irony and dry humor, and may help 

someone else decide: Is driving ride-share for you?

Maurice Woodson 

Maurice Woodson Began his career in the publishing Business. 

He has written for Right On! Magazine, Black Elegance, Class 

Magazine as well as ran Black Beat and Spice Superposter

The Suburban herald, a small newspaper in upstate New York. 

He then ventured into the music industry managing artists and

LATEST UGLY RACISM 


Trump said vice president Kamala Harris 

“turned Black” and now his racist media 

followers are doing the same thing There are 

dozens of terms that are on the Census and 

society that are out of favor now but were 

popular for decades. Most can’t be said on this 

app They’ll argue their right to say them 

They will yell over us and then once given 

pushback they’ll resort to their favorite slurs. 

This is all based on white supremacy- the part 

that says white people get to define how 

everyone is defined. Get to force their names 

on us and tell us we’re inferior because of it. 

Every generation of Black people have to refight 

the battles of our ancestors because 

white Americans refuse to learn, grow, change, 

& accept that they aren’t special, unique, or 

superior. So many want those things they 

reach into the (im)perfect past for their 

inherited racism 

We haven’t been able to educate ourselves out 

of this because one side refuses to be educated 

& refused to accept self-actualization The 

problems they have w/pronouns -people 

defining themselves- was born of them 

refusing to accept Black people defining 

ourselves. 

It’s always us 

Now we’ll have “educated” folk in media-almost all 

white, who live exclusively around white people, 

and who may know 1 or 2 Black people in real likediscussing 

a topic about which they’re among the 

most ignorant on the planet. 

It’s a harsh truth they are not equipped to talk 

about race because their views are like listening to 

children discussing algebra but try to tell Jake 

Tapper, Anderson Cooper, Katy Tur, or Maggie 

Haberman, or that one or that one they’ll huff and 

puff right back to their 99% white circle of 

friends/family confident that they are the most 

qualified to talk about race and racism.

Catherine Sequeira is a veterinarian, author, and teacher. Originally from California, she has lived in 

Switzerland, New York, Oklahoma, and Scotland. She is an avid tabletop gamer and was all verklempt the 

first time her older son kicked her ass at Lords of Waterdeep. She would live in the garden if she could, 

pretending to be Snow White or channeling her inner Poison Ivy. When the weather chases her inside, you

My name is Kevin Linney, I also go by the name Crucial 

Point. I have tons of friends that make music and we all 

have the same issues regarding storage and sharing 

our music. As an underground/independent Hip Hop 

artist, I wanted to create a platform where we could 

store and easily share our music with people around 

the world.

Even as an amateur artist, I had close to 200 song files 

sitting on Google Drive and DropBox, none of which 

were being promoted or heard by anybody other than 

myself. I needed a place where I could simply store my 

song files and easily share them when I want and with 

who I want. 

I created the sayeYO app with music artists in mind. I 

added features like the discover page, where artists can 

share songs made public with other app users. In the 

discover page users can play songs, like songs and click 

on any shared links. Our in-app text messaging allows 

users to share full-length songs, media files and much 

more for improved communication and collaboration. 

I also added a business directory so that sayeYO app 

users can connect with people who offer services within
