We have been running day excursions for
over 25 years, picking up through the
local area from Poole to New Milton.
Most of the destinations are tried & tested
and we are always looking out for
somewhere new and exciting!
We trust you will notice the difference
when travelling on board a Highcliffe
Coach. We have luxury modern touring
coaches with comfortable legroom, toilet
facilities and modern safety features. Not
forgetting our ‘top’ drivers!
As always, a huge tribute to all our
wonderful staff for their brilliant efforts.
Most of the day excursions allow for
around 4 1/2 hours at the destination
although this does vary slightly on some
trips. Please check the timings when
booking.
We are a family business who have been
serving the local area for over 25 years -
since 1996. Your enjoyment is our driving
motivation!

PLEASE NOTE - IF YOU CANCEL YOUR TRIP YOU WILL BE LIABLE FOR CANCELLATION CHARGES AS SET OUT BELOW.
We will make every effort to carry out the programme and itineraries as advertised but must reserve the right to
cancel any excursion or alter routes, timings or stopping places without prior notice due to circumstances beyond
our control. We will not be responsible for any additional costs you may incur if trips do not operate or are delayed.
We reserve the right, notwithstanding any other provision of these terms and conditions, to cancel an individual
booking (subject to any refund being made) or refuse to accept a booking, at our absolute discretion.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
If we are forced to cancel any excursion, a full refund will be made. In the event of a customer cancelling we shall
apply charges in line with the scale below. Tickets cannot be transferred to future trips.

Our Coaches
We regularly upgrade our fleet of modern
coaches to offer a high level of comfort and
incorporate new safety features. Our touring
coaches are specified to provide generous
legroom making for a comfortable journey. Air
conditioning is fitted throughout and all vehicles
also have toilet facilities, comfortable reclining
seats, armrests, tinted glass and seat belts.

and eateries for lunch. We continue for a 2 hour visit to the popular Donkey Sanctuary nearby. Set in the tranquil East Devon countryside, this working farm

**NEW** Henley & Thames River Cruise
Exciting NEW day out for 2024! We start the day heading to Reading where we board our
excellent private river boat for a 90 minute cruise through Wind in The Willows country! Our
boat is the handsome Caversham Lady which had an extensive re-fit in 2016 to bring her up to
modern high standards of comfort - easy to access and has great views all around as well as a

nice open foredeck and a cafe bar. After returning to Caversham Pier we reboard the coach and
make the short journey to Henley on Thames. Henley is best known for its annual Royal Rowing

Horse Drawn Canal Boat & Marlborough
Step back in time with us, as we head first to one of our favourite stopping places, Marlborough. This archetypal English Market town has that 'film
location' quality and is a great spot to stroll around and enjoy a nice lunch. In the afternoon we head to nearby Kintbury and board the 'Kennet Valley'
horse drawn barge for a 2 ½ hour cruise along the beautiful Kennet & Avon Canal. This wide beam passenger boat was purpose built for carrying
passengers and is powered solely by the towing action of the horse making for a tranquil journey. Facilities onboard include a well stocked bar serving tea,

Weald & Downland Living Museum - Home of The Repair Shop
Beautifully situated in the lovely West Sussex countryside this superb open air museum includes
rescued traditional rural buildings and tells the stories of the people who lived and worked in
them. The museum has recently shot to prominence as the site of the hit BBC series - The Repair
Shop. The 40-acre site has 50 buildings to explore and many are exhibit houses, furnished to
recreate historic domestic interiors. Plenty of time here to enjoy the setting and take a walk

Wow! Undoubtably one of the best National Trust properties we have visited. Located in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds with extensive grounds, Buscot Park is
the family home of Lord Faringdon. Built in the Italianate country houses style between 1780 and 1783, the estate has a variety of attractions - from formal
gardens to woodlands. There are plenty of lovely viewpoints and a selection of architectural sculptures adds interest to your visit. The house does not
disappoint and houses the wonderful Faringdon Collection of fine paintings and furniture collected over a century. With paintings by Rembrandt, Reynolds,

Step back into summer 1940 at the Duxford Battle of Britain Air Show and see historic Duxford come to life. In the air, on the ground, and even in the
clothes you wear! Presented by Imperial War Museums, discover the sights, sounds and noises of Spitfires, Hurricanes and more in flight plus music and

including the Main Square attractions including Animal Adventure, Jungle Cruise, Hedge Maze and the ever-popular Adventure Castle. Entrance to Longleat
House is NOT included in the price of your ticket. The lanterns will be switched on around 4.30pm each day and are outside so please wrap up warm.

Devon Pub Christmas Carvery + Sidmouth
Lovely day out to enjoy the beautiful scenery of West Dorset and East Devon before stopping at the excellent Hare & Hounds Pub near Sidmouth. This
traditional country pub has wooden beams and log fires with lovely views down to Sidmouth and the sea. We have included a delicious carvery with Turkey
available!! Extensive choice of fresh vegetables, gravy and extras. Pudding is available on the day for an additional cost. Afterwards we shall head in to

Stourhead at Christmas - National Trust
One of the best National Trust destinations in the South of England and a feast for the senses at
this festive time of year! The Palladian Mansion is full of Georgian treasures, Chippendale
furniture and fine paintings. At Christmas a massive effort is made by the National Trust
volunteers to show the house off as it would have been in it's pomp, with painstakingly hand
crafted decorations and displays. The celebrated 18th Century landscaped gardens of Stourhead
are world famous and your first sight of the lake will leave you amazed. There are stunning views
around the grounds and gothic temples and monuments surround the tranquil lake. Plenty of
time here and enjoy a lovely lunch in the NT restaurant. This really is an amazing destination and

Christmas At Kew Illuminated Trail
VERY POPULAR FESTIVE DAY. BOOK EARLY. Join our memorable day out to
this lovely Christmas attraction. Lunchtime departure from the local area
and after a comfort stop on route we arrive at Kew early evening. As
twilight falls, the magic begins…..we have a timed slot to enjoy the
beautifully created winter trail. This mile long sparkling path winds its way
through the world-famous botanic gardens in a magical after-dark
experience. Wander beneath unique tree canopies drenched in Christmas
hues, and gaze at glowing waterside reflections as clusters of illuminated
fountains dance in an explosion of colour, set against the iconic Palm House.

Carols at Salisbury Cathedral
A really popular destination for a day out. Join us on this special day. We arrive in Salisbury late
morning with free time to explore this historic jewel - named as one of the world's Top 10 Cities
to visit in 2015 by Lonely Planet. So much to see, with wonderful medieval buildings, Museums,
historic houses to visit, public gardens and riverside walks. Meeting back at the cathedral for a
very special festive afternoon. An exciting opportunity to join the cathedral choir for a
programme of traditional carols in the magical cathedral setting, decorated for Christmas, with
33ft tree and renaissance nativity hanging followed by mulled wine and mince pies in The
