MeroWings embodies an imaginative, sophisticated lifestyle concept that
cleverly intertwines natural motifs with contemporary design. The results are a
highly inspiring, original and dynamic collection of luxurious furnishing items,
which transport the elements of nature into every living environment.
Utmost priority is given to safeguard the high quality of both finished products
and the incorporated materials, for example the use of non-toxic, certified fireretardant
fabrics. Furthermore, MeroWings’ experienced international team and
partners go the extra mile to ensure that deadlines are adhered to and customer
expectations exceeded.
DIGITALIZATION OF NATURE’S TEMPLATES
The launch of MeroWings’ Original Forest collection in 2009 marked a major
breakthrough in the creation of furnishing items upholstered with photorealistic
digital prints. The resulting textile objects have an unbelievably stunning 3-D
effect and serve as optical illusions of real tree trunks and logs.
MeroWings creations have continued to inspire and surprise with their interesting
mix of aesthetically pleasing and simultaneously useful products. Apart from
being the standout feature in any environment, they have a distinctive look and
shape that appeal to a broad spectrum of people across all age groups. As a
result, the brand MeroWings has established a worldwide and varied base of
discerning trading partners and customers. All product and textile designs have
been created by and belong to MeroWings.

OUR STORY
Based in Germany, MeroWings has been growing steadily since the launch of its first
internationally patented ergonomic Wings cushions collection. These designs represented
an innovative breakthrough in multi-functional, all-round cushioning. Originally designed
to enhance sitting, lounging and sleeping comfort, the therapeutic qualities of MeroWings’
flagship cushions have been tried and tested for over a decade. Read more about the

BRINGING NATURE TO THE PEOPLE
MeroWings branched out into the field of small furnishing items with the successful worldwide
launch of the original Forest Logs and Trunk Trunk collections. These upholstered
seats and log sofas were incredibly accurate three dimensional representations of real
tree stumps and trunks and continue to amaze a broad spectrum of customers worldwide.
PERFECT FOR HOME & COMMERCIAL ENVIROMENTS
The repertoire of themes has constantly grown and now encompasses a wide and varied
range. These include the moon, trees, stone, rocks, fiery coral reefs, shimmering ocean
floors and the latest vibrant green hedges, grass and golden yellow straw bale collections.
Commercial customers and event planners can choose from a broad range of MeroWings’
furnishing items to create any manner of nature-inspired environments. These include
themed landscapes for hotels, holiday parks, libraries, children’s playrooms, corporate and
trade fair relaxation zones to name but a few. Alternatively, MeroWings’ creative pool of
designers and partners enable the realisation of other make-to-order projects.
On a business-to-business basis, MeroWings has proven to be a reliable and trusted
partner to some of the world’s most discerning commercial customers. Going beyond
the brand, it also provides maximum flexibility and choice. For example, the provision of
replaceable covers is both a practical necessity as well as an ideal way to easily change
between themes, without having to invest in additional fillings. MeroWings has also
successfully fulfilled a number of bespoke projects.

VISION
MANUFACTURING & SOURCING SCOPE
Over the years, MeroWings has built up a strong network of experienced, high quality
manufacturing partners. The main production locations are Germany, Poland and China,
with its fully owned trading company that provides a number of additional sourcing and
fulfilment services to other trade customers, including private label manufacturing.
ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY VISION
Passionate about making a difference to reverse the damage done to our planet,
MeroWings is working with other parties on replacing all filling materials with recycled
alternatives. In addition, the whole manner in which products will be distributed in the
future will also be changed to significantly reduce not only MeroWings’ but also that of its
trading partners’ carbon footprint.
A comprehensive range of projects are currently underway, to transform processes on
the fulfilment side of the business, as well as how and where products are
assembled in key markets. These are long-term initiatives, and involve a
great deal of time and effort to ensure they are realised.
FOUNDER
Meena Valail-Dieter, designer and founder of MeroWings, was
born in London and draws on a multi-cultural and interdisciplinary
background. Before establishing the company, she worked
within the industry for many years in the areas of project, product
management and international market development. This
fusion of artistic, scientific and industry experience is one of the
cornerstones of the company’s creative capital, and ability to
successfully operate on the international stage.

interior. The urbane Ash collection fuses a mixture of modern
grey tones with soft, warm taupe and can be perfectly combined
with the grey Birch models. All are available in a variety of
models and designs, both indoor and outdoor versions.

To meet the growing market demands MeroWings has increased the
number of outdoor versions of its best selling collection items. Indeed,
the latest outdoor launches have been specifically designed for both
indoor and outdoor usage, and can be enjoyed all year round.
Whatever the setting, the natural styles of these furnishing items have
the power to inspire and blend in beautifully with the environment. The
materials used for MeroWings’ Outdoor Collection are water-repellent
and breathable. In addition, the covers can easily be removed and
either dry-cleaned or machine washed.

MeroWings® Travel was specifically created for those
travelling by car, plane, ship or train. It is also available
as an inflatable version and is ideal for the tub or beach.
Like the other Wings models, it snugly holds and supports
the head and neck, providing a super sideways
buffer to lean against. The effects of sudden “jolts”
caused either by air turbulence or the head’s natural
tendency to fall forward, when one “nods-off” are therefore
minimised. This makes them ideal for ensuring a
good rest on board and prevents stiff or strained necks.
Alternatively, they are equally effective at alleviating
back pain caused by sitting down for long periods of
time. Their special ergonomic form fit perfectly into the
hollow of the back, giving support where needed.
The slightly smaller Smart Travel model has an added
strap for attachment to seats, headrests and of course
luggage makes them easy to transport and space saving.

A whole new stylish Pets’ collection has been made in a
variety of nature inspired designs, in shapes, sizes and forms
for both cats and dogs. The quality of the materials and
manufacturing are the same as those from MeroWings other
collections. MeroWings offers a wide variety of alternative
fabrics and designs on a make to order basis. This could be
extremely interesting for the growing dog friendly hotel and
travel market and would include the supply of replaceable
covers as well as protective pads and linings to protect the
inner cushioning and maintain hygienic conditions.

PROJECTS & EVENTS
MeroWings® furnishing items are frequently used on
a world-wide basis by show organisers, prop hire
companies, exhibitors and architects for a multitude of
events. For such occasions, MeroWings can deliver fullycertified
fire retardant products in accordance with the
required regulations.
With a proven track record of managing projects and
manufacturing expertise, the number of custom-made
assignments has grown.
These include hotel fittings or tiered seating covers for
stadiums – with or without the signatory photorealistic
prints-on a made to order basis. On a practical level, as
MeroWings is the creator of all designs and manages
the production processes, replaceable covers can be
ordered. This means that it is possible to easily strip
the products for cleaning purposes and have reserve
covers in-house so that the products can still be used.
Alternatively, it’s possible to completely change the
look of one product into another-perfect for seasonal
shifts. For example, during the cooler months guests can
enjoy an Alpine chalet setting with MeroWings’ forest
collections then transform these into green hedges,
golden straw bales and iridescent water columns during
the summer.
