PROGRAMME

Welcome

“When we rush, we skim the surface and fail to make real

connections with the world or other people”

Welcome to our 9th celebration of nature, mindfulness, and family discovery, set

amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Pippingford Park. This year’s gathering

promises a rejuvenating experience where you can reconnect with the natural world

and the simple joys of outdoor life.

We believe in the power of slowing down and cherishing quality time with loved ones.

Into The Trees offers families a chance to escape the distractions of modern life and

savour the beauty of our natural surroundings.

Community takes centre stage this weekend so we invite you to get involved. Many

of the activities are self-led allowing the kids to lead the way and take their own pace.

Our ever-growing family of passionate outdoor lovers welcome children to workshops

exploring practices that promote connecting to nature. Whether it’s yoga in the woods,

pond dipping, guided nature walk, slow mindful sports, or meditation sessions, there’s

something for everyone to nourish the mind, body, and soul.

OUTSIDE

Activities or

O

performances which take

place wholly or mostly outside.

So, there are no closed off areas

get a bit wet…

INSIDE

Accessibility icons are indicated in the programme next to each activity or performance

with one or more coloured dots. They are intended as a quick reference to help you decide

which bits your family might enjoy the most, and we hope that they will be particularly

useful for anyone who might have specific access needs.

Tips and Rules

Parents: Please remember, you are responsible for

your children at all times. Never leave your child

unsupervised on any part of the site, especially near

the ponds or lakes. Please also be aware that some

areas can be uneven, boggy or slippery when wet.

There is a first aid team on site to support with any

medical assistance you may require. If you need

any help, please head to the First Aid Tent or alert a

steward who will be able to radio the first aid team.

Please be aware of ticks and if you find one on

someone’s skin or think you’ve been bitten, head to

the First Aid Tent for advice.

Fires, BBQs and stoves are allowed in the campsites

only, but must be raised off the ground. Please

do not take wood to burn from the site. Open,

uncontained fires are not allowed and please

never use stoves or BBQs inside your tent - carbon

monoxide poisoning is a real risk. Please note; if it

is very dry, we may need to ban all fires & BBQs.

Please help us to keep the site clean and tidy by

using the waste bins provided. All our waste is

sorted post events and recycled where possible.

There is strictly no glass allowed on site. If you

accidentally packed glass, please kindly leave it in

your car & take it home with you.

Please take all camping equipment home with you

at the end of the event, even if broken as we are

unable to dispose of it on site.

Info Tent

The Info Tent is the place to go for general

information. It’s also the place to go for lost

children and lost & found property. It is open from

2pm until 8pm on Friday and from 10am until 5pm

on Saturday and Sunday.

If you need urgent help with anything and are

unable to find a steward or other member of staff,

or if you need emergency assistance outside of the

info tent hours please call 07733888492.

Lost Children

When you first arrive, make sure to write your

mobile number on children’s wristbands. Take

some time to familiarise your family with the site

layout & note where your camping spot is. It’s a

good idea to tell your kids that if they get lost, they

should ask for help from security or a steward in hi

viz, or head to the Info Tent. Found children will be

taken to and cared for at the Info Tent.

Babies and Toddlers

Near to the Info Tent, you’ll find a tent available for

baby changing and feeding, or even just for a bit of

quiet and shade if you’re coming with very small

children. This facility is free to use all weekend so

do pop in whenever you need to.

Phone Charging

Phone charging is available in the Info Tent during

opening hours for £2 per charge. Please note that

we can only charge a small number of phones at

any one time and that your phone is left at your

own risk.

Water and Facilities

Please encourage your kids to wash their hands,

especially before eating. Taps are located around

the site and in the toilet blocks. Drinking water is

available freely from the bar and from taps around

the site. Please turn off taps once you’ve used them.

There are hot showers and plenty of toilets around

the site (please respect the countryside and do not

use the woods). Showers can get quite busy in the

mornings, so please understand you may have to

queue.

Programme times and changes

Please be aware that, though we try our best to

stick to them, the advertised times of activities and

performances can slip. Be prepared to be a little

flexible. The same goes for the programme content.

The Info Tent will have a board displaying any last

minute changes to the programme or timings.
