New Venture By Bhandari Glass Company Hits The
Ground Running
Mayur Glass Industries, a venture by Bhandari Glass
Company, has started production with its advanced
horizontal tempering glass line imported from China.
The company has imported a
state-of-the-art flat tempering
furnace from China’s largest
tempering furnace manufacturer
‘North Glass’.
Since April 26, Mayur
Glass Industries, located in
Visakhapatnam’s Gold Star Industrial
Area, has been manufacturing
excellent quality tempered or heatstrengthened
glass branded as
‘MAYUR TUFF’ for use in exteriors
and interiors architectural structural
glazing, curtain-walling, frameless
glass doors or windows, shop-fronts,
entrance assemblies, shuttercubicles,
skylights, canopies,
furniture, and refrigerators or
freezers, as well as other strategic
purposes.
The imported horizontal flat
tempering furnace produces glass
ranging from 4 mm for use in
structural glazing, glass doors or
partitions, etc., to 19 mm. All types
of flat glass up to maximum sizes
of 9.5 x 16 feet can be tempered or
heat strengthened, including clear
and tinted float glass, reflected glass,
low-e glass, and patterned glass.
The furnace is considered one of
the best models manufactured by
North Glass. All types of flat glass,
high-performance reflective glass,

low-e and tempered glass can be
tempered to high quality standards.
The ‘Quality Monitoring System’
of this advanced technological
tempering furnace is unmatched,
ensuring the excellent quality of
tempered glass produced. The
furnace’s uniform heating and cooling
system and high-grade ceramic
rollers maintain the flatness of the
tempered glass and enhance the
reflective glass coating’s shine.
The demand for tempered glass in
the domestic glass economy is on the
rise not only for large-scale projects
but also for medium-scale ones.
Pre-processing machinery
installed in the unit include a cutting
line of 10’ x 20’ size from ‘STRON’, a
drilling machine from ‘ZXM’, three
single edger machines from ‘ZXM’,
and a straight line beveling machine
from ‘ZXM’.
Bhandari Glass Company, based
in Hyderabad, was founded by Mr
Champa Lal Bhandari in 1975. It deals
in all types of locally manufactured
glass. Visakhapatnam-headquartered
Mayur Glass House is a dealer of
imported glass.
