n the American First Day Cover Society’s annual cachetmakers contest, the best<br />
FDC designs from the previous year are chosen in 18 categories. The contest to select<br />
the best cachets for each year begins in January of the following year. The deadline<br />
for entries is usually mid-April. Those entering covers must be members of the<br />
