LAND
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Centennial College is proud to be part of a rich history of education in this
province and in this city. We acknowledge that we are on the treaty lands
and territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. We pay tribute to
their legacy, and the legacy of all First Peoples of Canada, as we strengthen
ties with the communities we serve and build the future through learning
and through our graduates.
Today, the traditional meeting place of Toronto is still home to many
Indigenous Peoples from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to have the
opportunity to work in the communities that have grown in the treaty lands
of the Mississaugas. We acknowledge that we are all treaty people and
accept our responsibility to honour all our relations.

AVISHIKTA'S
EXPERIENCES
Why did you decide to come to Centennial
to upgrade your skills?
“I have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
and worked for Bombardier Aerospace and De Havilland.
In 2020, I got laid off due to COVID. I searched for jobs but
was unable to find something I wanted to do. So, I decided to
upgrade in the aerospace field. I came across this program,
which suited my profile and my career path, so I joined.”
What was your favourite part of Aerospace
Manufacturing Engineering?
“There are many things this program teaches which are
industry-related, like CNC, masterCam, Catia software,
Solidworks, Ansys, and Matlab. Catia is of immense help
when it comes to the aerospace industry. My favourite
part would be learning Catia and other software.”
What has been your career path since you
graduated?
“I joined De Havilland as a methods engineer [just weeks
after my classes ended]. I’m also planning to join the
Reserve Force of the Canadian Armed Forces as an
aerospace engineering officer.”
Avishikta Ghosh
Graduate
Aerospace Manufacturing
Engineering Technology
How did the program prepare you for the industry?
“The program is based on industry-specific requirements,
which helps one to shine during an interview. It also
prepares you for the job you are applying for.”
What do you think students applying to Aerospace
Manufacturing Engineering should know?
“To anyone joining this program, I will recommend you
try to learn as much as you can. The professors are
really knowledgeable and will guide you. Some of them
work in good positions in the industry and will be able
to recommend you.”

WILFREDO'S
EXPERIENCES
What did you do before Centennial?
“Before I came here, I did a degree in electrical engineering
in the Philippines. Afterwards, I started to work as a design
engineer involved in oil and gas plant projects. Then after
a few years, I decided to try my hand in the residential
construction industry as a site coordinator.”
Why did you decide to go back to school?
“To further advance my career in more of a project manager
role, I decided to take this program. The curriculum, I
noticed, takes on hard skills and construction concepts that
I did not have any formal training in.”
What kind of skills did you gain?
“I upgraded my soft skills through courses like Project
Leadership, which is very important if you're in the
construction business, and Development and Construction
Economics, so I got the financial side of it. There are also
courses like HR Management and Risk Management,
which to be honest, I had no idea about before. On the
other hand, topics such as quantity surveying, procurement
management, construction scheduling, and sustainable
practices reformed the concepts that I knew through work
experience.”
Wilfredo Jr. Dela Cruz
Graduate
Construction Project
Management
Why was group work important?
“During the program, I always aimed to work with different
sets of people on every project or coursework that we had.
I think the sharing of ideas with people from various cultural
backgrounds gave me new perspectives on how to tackle
a problem.”
What was the biggest benefit of the program?
“It is an investment for me that will open possibilities
for professional development in this field that will benefit
both my short- and long-term professional goals. Whatever
experience level you have, this program will prepare you.”

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
General admission requirements
How to read program information charts
ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
All instruction at Centennial is in English.
Applicants must demonstrate an acceptable level
of English-language proficiency to be considered
for admission. See more details at
centennialcollege.ca/english-proficiency
CO-OP EDUCATION ADMISSIONS
To participate in co-op, register in a full-time
co-op-eligible program. Learn more about
requirements and the application process at
centennialcollege.ca/applying-to-co-op
TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS
Many programs use flexible teaching models,
including online, in-person, or a combination
of these, and may require you to access a
computing device that meets minimum hardware
requirements. Please check the program page on
our website for complete specifications.
WAITING LISTS
A program waiting list is created when the number
of eligible applicants exceeds the number of
available spots in a program. If additional space
becomes available, additional offers are sent to
the next highest qualified applicants on the waiting
list based on an average of the required subjects.
COMPETITIVE PROGRAMS
For some programs, Centennial receives more
qualified applicants than available seats.
Minimum admission requirements do not
guarantee a seat in these programs, which often
have additional selection requirements. If you are
applying to a highly competitive program, you must
submit your application before Feb. 1 to be equally
considered among all other applicants. Learn more
at centennialcollege.ca/offers-of-admission
ADMISSION DECISION REVIEW
PROCEDURES
An applicant may submit an appeal to the
Registrar for an explanation and review of a
non-acceptance decision. The appeal must be
made within 30 business days of the date of the
College’s written decision. Find full details at
centennialcollege.ca/admission-review
Explore the charts on pages 25 to 64 to find the
program that’s right for you. Discover the campus,
intake semester, program requirements, and more. Be
mindful of the below icons. They indicate the various
opportunities available in certain programs.
Capstone ‒ A final-year project that encompasses
theoretical and practical knowledge you attained
throughout your studies. It showcases your
expertise and ability to apply what you learned.
Optional Co-op ‒ Provides the opportunity to earn
while you learn, combining academic studies and
practical work experience through employment
with a participating organization.
Fast-track ‒ Applicable if you are seeking shorter,
relevant programs that complement your previous
education and experience.
Global Learning Experience ‒ Connecting students
and staff to global perspectives, people, and
places, these programs often involve travelling
abroad. They vary on duration, destination, and
academic focus to support professional and
personal growth.
Internships and Placements ‒ Integrated into the
course curriculum, these experiences are required
for academic credit and graduation. Academic
schools coordinate these opportunities, which
are mandatory for many programs.
Other ‒ Other activities may include industry
partnership projects, interdisciplinary activities,
applied research, entrepreneurship ventures, and
more. For more details specific to your program,
please reach out to the email listed on the
program’s web page.

FIND YOUR COMMUNITY
MEET A CENTENNIAL STUDENT
PAOLA'S
EXPERIENCES
What did you do before Centennial?
“I am a business administrator with an emphasis in
marketing and international business, and I have been
working since I was 15 … Late in 2019, I returned to
Colombia, and I’ve been doing all my business with
China online.”
Why did you decide to go back to school?
“I realized there were [business processes] that required
academic skills sets that I was missing.”
What did Centennial offer you?
“An important factor in deciding which program and school
was best to continue my education was the practical
approach in the program. Considering that I already had
years of experience in my field, the applicability of each
course was fundamental.”
How was practical experience included
in our program?
“All subjects that involved coding were always done
with the computer, following the professor's instructions.
We always got cases for practicing new concepts in
real life.”

Mantilla Agredo
Student
Business Analytics and Insights
What did you like best about the Business Analytics
and Insights program?
“It gave us an approach to the Canadian economy and how
to do business here, as well as a way to improve our resumé,
which was helpful to me.”
Why is that important?
“Data is what is driving all companies now. There are
incredible opportunities in the market to apply business
analytics. Any company needs to understand its data for
better decision-making.”

THEDYFRED'S EXPERIENCES
What interested you in hotel operations management?
“What inspired me to go into this field is my drive and
passion towards customer service. It has always been
my cup of tea, and hospitality allows you to work in a
multifaceted environment.”
What's an important aspect of picking the right college?
“The one thing that I want people to know is that when
choosing the institution that you want, always remember
that they should be supportive of you. They should also be
encouraging you to better yourself, to be the best version
of yourself.”
Why did you choose Centennial?
“Diversity in every way is a crucial part of the learning process
for most of the students. I believe that Centennial College
produces great graduates and fully-equipped individuals who
are globally competitive in the environment that they are in.”
What practical learning did you experience in
your program?
“Centennial College gave me practical opportunities, together
with my professors, through experiences within the college.
They also give you proper exposure in extracurricular activities
as well as conferences and volunteer work.”
Thedyfred Michael
Billones
Graduate
Hotel Operations Management
How did Centennial set you up for success?
“I break it down for you through the word SET. S stands for
Standards. The standards of the institution are very high. That
allows the students to be prepared as soon as they graduate.
E stands for Exposure. The exposure and experience that they
give you will have a benefit after you graduate, in your future
endeavours. And T? T stands for thrive. As you thrive, the
college will always support you to become better and support
you in the field that you want to pursue after you graduate.”
