Following the recent launch of the Pixel 9, Google took
the opportunity to showcase the new range of devices at
the Emergency Tech Show at the NEC, Birmingham. We
supported Google and one of our trusted resellers, TRG, to
deliver a first-class presence at the show and generate leads
from the 2-day event. The event provided the ideal platform to
reach out to the public sector audience and present the new AI
features of the Pixel 9 and why the device is great for B2B.
The main topic of conversation was about how the Pixel 9
range is the perfect device for emergency workers, from
office-based to remote and on-the-go users.
The Pixel 9 devices are designed around security, with
7 years of updates to help safeguard business data. Whilst
enabling users with tools to help reach peak productivity
with Gemini, the built-in AI assistant, to make the most of
the workday.
Visitors had the chance to try out the devices in person and
experience the innovative AI tools on the devices.
Our on-brand stand went down a treat with the addition of
Pick ‘n’ Mix, for an afternoon pick-me-up!

We recently hosted a select number of resellers for
an adrenaline-filled day of driving at one of the most
prestigious motorsport events, PalmerSport.
The team raced against the clock in a range of vehicles, including the
BMW M4 and Land Rover Defender, to be crowned the day’s winner and
earn one of the coveted trophies.

Yagoub Elhillo
Google Product Manager
Yagoub joins Data Select as a product manager
supporting Google. His role is to understand Google’s
product offering and how best to position it against our
competitors.
His main goal is to drive growth within Google’s B2B
network, executing this by developing relationships
with our AMs to secure strategic partnerships between
Google and our resellers.
His background comes from working at Amazon, as a
Brand Specialist, where he drove client success within
the Toys category. Prior to this, he studied Business and
Management at the University of Portsmouth.
