Our story
Cinas was founded under the name Carl J. Nielsen
in 1903.
Since the 1980s, the company has developed
into the design, import and distribution company
that we see today.
All of our products are made with carefully
selected manufacturers in the Far East, where the
cooperation has functioned for generations.
High-quality requirements are incorporated into this
network, ensuring that our products always live up
to our quality and finishing standards.
We focus on furniture and accessories that
emphasize their simplicity and functional
expression, but still with a stylish edge with our
design philosophy in mind.

Ellen
Ellen and her husband enjoyed dinners with family and friends in
their garden with an old set of furniture with beauty, comfort and
heart. Design, materials and comfort were gently reworked into our
version of the classic set and brought to life again; named after the
Lady of the house.

We use Java teakwood to manufacture our
furniture. Among the other hardwoods commonly
used for outdoor furniture, many are
referred to as ‘teak substitutes’. But there is no
substitute for teak, and in outdoor conditions,
no other hardwood in the world performs to
the same high quality standards as teak. Simply
put, teak is the best hardwood in the world for
untreated wooden outdoor furniture.
Viro rope is highly resistant to weather, UV
rays, and extreme temperatures, making it ideal
for outdoor use. It requires minimal
maintenance and is easy to clean with mild
soap and water. Viro retains its appearance over
time without fading or cracking.
With its balanced natural oil content, mahogany
has proved itself over time as
the best material for painted outdoor furniture.
Prior to assembly, we apply several layers of
paint to each component to ensure optimal
protection and outdoor resistance. This strong
smooth painted surface highlights the knowing
modern lines of each piece of Cinas furniture.

Aluminium T-grip Umbrella
Our powder-coated aluminum furniture is
rustproof, easy to clean, and requires only minimum
maintenance. All Cinas aluminum frames
are offered in our classical ‘glossy powder coating’,
matt anthracite, white or sandy grey powder
coating’. Combine various types of tables,
seating types and cushions to create a selection
for your every mood and preference.
Innovative system that enables us to
produce chairs without tools, screws, or glue.
Our flexible U-shaped polypropylene
lamellas feature our own unique
T-shaped grip system for easy insertion
in a rail inside an aluminum frame.
Our garden umbrellas are water-repellent and
treated for UV+50 resistance. Poles are available
in teak color hardwood and aluminium, with
several size options to suit a variety of applications.
The hub and runner are made of strong
polyresin, and fittings have a satin finish. The
umbrella fabric is reinforced with double
stitching, and leather patches enhance
the strength of the corner pockets. Choose covers
to suit your market: Standard Polyester (235gr/
m 2 ) or Olefin (210gr/m 2 ). Umbrella bases in concrete
(including wheels) are available with the
patented tube.
