The largest and most important airport in Spain was

terminal of the ultra-modern 120,000 square meter

building is divided into three levels. A huge roof spans

above it, supported by steel trees. The architectural

masterpiece was awarded the "architecture Oscar",

the Stirling Prize 2006.
