“Church administrators are normally the

first point of contact for the church.”

Sis. Alice Johnson

Celebrating the

ministry gifts of:

They set the overall tone of the

church office, so it is imperative

that the administrators are

genuinely kind, pleasant, and

welcoming, like our team.

Administrators do just what the

name suggests, they

administrate! Church

Administration truly is a called

position as the Administrator

wears many hats including but

not limited to scheduling,

producing presentations, and

using state-of-the-art

technology and equipment.

The Administrator often has

the arduous task of assisting

church members, such as

myself, to be receptive to more

technologically advanced ways

of doing things.“How about

those QR Codes we initially

struggled with, eh?” If you’re

like me, I still kind of struggle

with them a little bit, but I’m

truly thankful for how they

make things simpler.

Administrators also maintain

the church calendar so that

events are scheduled in a

manner that is not over-taxing

to the membership. Sis. Brenda

does a great job assisting in

this area. The main and most

crucial role of the Administrator

is keeping the Senior Pastor on

track. This, by itself, is a massive

undertaking requiring a double

“The benchmark of what the modern Church knows

as a good deacon is truly embodied in the team of colaborers

we have at Truth Tabernacle.” Elder Brian Baker

It’s very easy to speak at length

and in detail, regarding the

awesome work that they do.

Especially when there are signs

of their work ethic, diligence,

and great results everywhere

throughout the edifice, and

certainly, burned within our

hearts. It is also such an

immense pleasure even to be

greeted by them and to

engage in casual conversations

with them. They are all

knowledgeable and wise,

pleasant and courteous, and

the love of God shows in their

work and labor of love.

As I look at the focus Bible

verse, I can personally see how

even our Church’s Senior

leaders, have shown great care

in ensuring that these

attributes are demonstrated by

our Deacons. Their care and

discernment in choosing whom

we have available to put our

trust in have resulted in a

dynamic that I see as a

standard-bearer in todays

world, and certainly in our

fellowship experience.

I am thankful for the

opportunity to share my

thoughts about the ministry of

Deacons at Truth Tabernacle

Ministries. This ministry is led

by the capable, Deacon Victor

Davis

It is great to know that God is

still anointing His people with

the gifts necessary to provide

the wonderful service that we

get from our Deacons. Each

member of our team walks

with integrity, is worthy of the

respect they command, and

shows themselves as being

here for both a common cause,

and a greater good, which is

indeed to the betterment of

the House. Even in their

imperfections, we can always

count on measured honesty,

and unwavering loyalty to the

Church, and the people of God.

Thus, the scriptural criteria of a

Deacon is faithfully met by

them all. Let’s all find some

time then, to personally and

individually thank every one of

our Deacons!

EPHESIANS 4:11

“So, how do the Elders and Ministers fit into God’s plan?

First of all, they are servants who have been called and

commissioned by God and publicly acknowledged by

senior leadership at TTM to proclaim the Gospel in the local

Elder Jaqueline Shaw

church and marketplace.”

God in his infinite wisdom shows

patterns of the transformational

power of HIS Word starting in

Genesis. The scriptures show the

order in which God does things. His

spoken word changed chaos into

order and darkness into light. Isn’t it

interesting that God, His Spirit, and

HIS spoken Word are the very first

things we see in the Holy Scriptures?

Could it be that the Master Teacher

is trying to tell us something? I think

so because God operates in purpose

and models principles for us to

pattern our lives by.

Their platforms may not always be a

church pulpit. Regardless of the

setting, they are anointed to preach

the gospel to the poor, to heal the

brokenhearted, to preach

deliverance to the captives,

and recovering of sight to the blind,

to set at liberty them that are

bruised, and to preach the

acceptable year of the Lord. While all

born-again believers should

proclaim the Gospel, God has

established a governmental system

for HIS church. These individuals are

not “superstars” but servants with a

higher degree of Kingdom

responsibility and accountability.

They have a level of stewardship that

includes handling God’s Word and

precious souls. This level of authority

comes with the responsibility to

study. It is an honor to serve as an

Elder within the diverse group of

ministerial gifts at TTM. I have colaborers

who are committed to

studying and operating in excellence.

It is even more rewarding to serve in

a local church where education and

excellence are promoted. TTM

provides opportunities for Elders and

Ministers to engage in various types

of study for continuous personal and

skill development along with spiritual

enrichment.

I am grateful for TTM’s membership

for respecting and embracing the

unique styles of the Elders and

Ministers. I Corinthians 12:4-6 says,

“Now there are diversities of gifts, but

the same Spirit. And there are

differences of administrations, but

the same Lord. And there are

diversities of operations, but it is the

same God which works all in all.”

Therefore, kudos to the EMA’s who

are learning to be comfortable in

their “own skin.” Continue to “Preach

the Word, in and out of season!”

A Personal Testimony If you are seeking hope, strength, or

guidance, I encourage you to reach out to Truth Tabernacle's

prayer ministry. Experience the transformative power of prayer,

just as I have. May God bless you and keep you. Brother Dennis Trevathan

As we celebrate our ministry leaders and

workers, I reflect on the

profound impact of Truth Tabernacle's

Intercessory Prayer team on my life. Their

selfless devotion has been a constant source

of comfort, strength, and inspiration,

transforming my relationship with God and

those around me.

A Journey of Faith When life's challenges

seemed insurmountable,

I turned to my Church family with prayer

requests for my girlfriend, family, parents, job,

and personal life. The Intercessory Prayer

team enveloped me in love and support,

lifting me in prayer.

Their fervent intercession helped calm

storms, bringing peace

and reassurance.

Prayers Answered The prayer team's

faithfulness yielded tangible results. My

girlfriend and I experienced renewed hope

and strength in our relationship. Family

members found solace in times of need. My

parents received healing and guidance. My

job became a platform for growth and

service. As life's pieces fell into place, I

witnessed the power of prayer firsthand.

The Power of Community Truth Tabernacle's

prayer ministry taught me that prayer

transcends individual needs, fostering a

community of love and support. The team's

selflessness inspired me to deepen my prayer

life, seeking a more intimate relationship

with God.

A Prayer of Blessing One prayer, in

particular, resonated deeply: "May the

Lord bless you and keep you; may His

face shine upon you and be gracious to

you; may His countenance lift you up

and give you peace" (Numbers 6:24-26).

This biblical blessing became a personal

anthem, reminding me of God's love and

faithfulness.

Gratitude and Praise To my Church

family, I offer heartfelt gratitude for

being God's tangible representation.

Your prayers have blessed my life,

transforming my relationships, career,

and faith. May your faithfulness inspire

others to seek a deeper connection with

God.

A Legacy of Love As I reflect on my

journey, I recognize the Intercessory

Prayer team's legacy: a sanctuary of

hope, where lives are transformed, and

prayers are answered. Their devotion

serves as a testament to God's

faithfulness, reminding us that we are

never alone.

In closing, I thank Truth Tabernacle's

Intercessory Prayer team for being the

hands and feet of God. Your prayers have

changed lives, including mine. May God

continue to bless and empower your

ministry, touching hearts and

transforming lives.

Elder Dorothy Roberts

EPHESIANS 4:11

Media Leadership:

Elder Jasmine Murrain

I salute the Media Ministry under the

leadership of Elder Jasmine Murrain

and her team of dedicated media

experts. During the Covid outbreak

of 2020, churches were forced to

transition from the in-person

worship experience to online church.

As I watched the media team evolve

during this time of uncertainty and

confusion many of Truth Tabernacle

members banded together and

educated themselves on how to

produce an online service of

relevance and excellence.

There were several key players at the

beginning that started the transition

of the media team to online services,

To name a few, Brother LaDerrick

Hyman, Brother Mark Green, and

Brother Ross McInnis. New

equipment was purchased, and the

church had a visual makeover. Many

of the original moving parts moved

on to other assignments; however, a

daring and determined wife, mother,

sister, intercessor, and minister took

on the task.

Elder Jasmine Murrain stepped up to

the challenge and through the

process of educating herself a new

media team emerged. Through Elder

Jasmine’s obedience and sacrifice the

media team has evolved into a team

of excellence. New members were

added and now because of diligence,

patience, and working past each

person’s flaws the media team runs

like a well-oiled auxiliary in Truth

Tabernacle Ministries.

We have been blessed to have such a

professional and conscientious media

team that deserves a standing

ovation for meeting the challenges

that were presented in such a short

window to produce. Our leaders are

always complimenting on how the

media team produced and shifted

promptly during Sunday Worship and

Midweek Manna Bible Study.

I salute the media team for a job well

done and for producing an online

presence that the voice of Truth

Tabernacle Ministries can continue to

preach the uncompromising gospel

to the community and all the other

nations of the world. I see the Media

PROVERBS 22:6

"When young parents discover we have a vibrant nursery and

teen program, their body language often suggests they are

overjoyed. They have found a place where they can picture their

family belonging. And once they discover our safe, enriching

spaces for both little ones and teens, they become our biggest

advocates, eagerly spreading the word to other families."

Truth Tabernacle Ministries

outstanding leadership of elders and

ministers has allowed their youth

ministry to grow over the years. In

2010, I joined the youth ministry, and

I was led by Lamar and Cekeithia

Blakney until Lynette Hicks and

Claude Gardner joined the ministry.

Their devotion to us and their love

for God incited the fire for us to go

after and claim he is. My

generation”s growing spirituality

wasn’t a fad, but rather a way of life

that I saw.

Witnessing the difficulties we all

faced on this new profound trip, our

youth leaders never wavered in their

commitment to the purpose, which

encouraged us to do the same in our

faith in God’s promises.

When life begins to overwhelm you,

it’s easy to forget about God’s grace.

However, having someone

to lean on for support,

encouragement, and advice when

you need it most is a blessing in and

of itself; doing it alone can be

uncomfortable.

Wisdom from a Youth Pastor

Youth maintain the belief that the

older generations seem to “forget” or

“do not understand” what is, but

Truth’s Youth leadership did not allow

the story to be exposed. There is

always someone capable even if

another may not be at that time.

Nobody will be let down or permitted

to grow distant from their beliefs.

Who knew I could have the Holy Spirit

live inside of me? Who knew that I

already have blessings from God that

are tailored just for me? Who was

aware? The same level of knowledge

remains today with Qujuana Ivory-

Jeffress and Reneika Watson. Thank

you for your resilience, your faith in

ISAIAH 10:27

Your praise ushers us into God's presence. A transformative

experience that can only be fully understood when expressed

through the anointed and God-fearing vessels of singers and

musicians in the Lord's house.

Their voices, their music, and their

passion combine to create a new

song of praise to the Lord. "Sing unto

the Lord a new song. Let His praises

fill the temple. He is the King of kings

and the Lord of lords; bow down

before Him. Hallelujah, glory to God!"

The impact of an anointed singer

and music ministry is a testament to

the unity and collaboration within

our church. Truth Tabernacle

Ministries, Inc. has a vision, mission,

and pillars: "Birthed through prayer,

Built on the Word, Called to

Excellence, and C.A.R.E.S." These are

not just words but a call to action for

all of us to work together,

encouraged by the Word of God,

prayer, and worship. The power of

this ministry helps create an

atmosphere of praise, deliverance,

submission, and worship when

coupled with the Word of God. When

the Word of God has gone forth with

power and anointing, the singers

and musicians are then challenged

to maintain the atmosphere that

assists in perpetuating conviction

and the "next move of God."

Elder Debbie Pettaway

As a member of the Intercessory Prayer team,

I have witnessed the power of worship and

prayer "being made," and I do not use this

term loosely. I can attest that burdens can be

lifted as a result of the combination of the

preached Word and anointed praise and

worship. However, I have also experienced

services where the power of God fell simply

because the worship leaders (singers and

musicians) and the congregation were

sensitized to God's move.

Truth Tabernacle Ministries has excellent

singers and musicians, all uniquely gifted. If I

were to acknowledge anyone for their loyalty

and endurance in this ministry, it would be

Elder Travis Murrain and Elder Shelayna

Parker for their untiring leadership roles. We

all know they could not be who they are

without the anointed supporting cast in the

praise and worship singers, musicians, and

choir. It is commonplace to see Elders

Shelayna and Travis performing dual roles on

any given Sunday. Elder Shelayna (as a pianist,

organist, saxophone player, or lead singer) and

Elder Travis (as a choir director, presider,

praise leader, or administrator) make

tremendous contributions and have a

significant impact on the singers and

musicians' ministry as well as

Truth Tabernacle Ministries overall.

ISAIAH 10:27

“The anointing makes the difference, and at Truth,

God uses the Music Ministry to help set the

atmosphere for God to be glorified.”

Elder Milton Herring

Worship Pastor:

Elder Travis Murrain

"We offer Christ to You Oh My

Brother" was the song that caused

me to boldly walk to the altar and

give my life to Christ. The

combination of Elder Shelayna

Parker on the Hammond organ,

Roosevelt Ethridge on the drums,

and a tight three-part harmony led

by Elder James Bellamy with Judah

First pulled at the strings of my heart

and had me decree and declare,

"Today is the Day."

I couldn't fully explain it at the time,

but I now know that there was

something in the sound that went

across the sanctuary and met me

face to face. It loosened, no, it broke

the chains that had me bound, and

on that Sunday, salvation was my

portion.

There have been numerous

testimonies that speak of how a

particular song, or how the music

that filled the atmosphere, caused a

shift to take place. The anointing has

the ability to lead people to Christ,

cause healing to take place, chains to

be broken, the manifestation of

deliverance, breakthrough, peace,

the answer to that silent prayer,

encouragement, and the strength to

press on.

The Music Ministry at Truth

doesn't just consist of musicians

who play instruments and singers

who have learned the words and

parts of a song. Yes, one must

have the ability to properly

execute the task, but there is

evidence that they walk in the

charge that God has assigned

them. There is an expression of

reverence, honor, praise, and

worship to our God. It is more

than mere gifts and talents; it is a

lifestyle. The alignment of the

music with the Word, and how it

can minister corporately and

individually within the same

moment, isn't meant to be taken

lightly. The sound navigates

throughout the atmosphere,

helping to cut the way for God to

move mightily. In the Book of

Judges, chapter one, the Children

of Israel ask, "Who shall go up

against the Canaanites?" and

God's response was, "Judah shall

go up." We thank God for the unit

that consists of individuals who

have chosen to answer the call of

the Lord and become one to

make up the Musicians, Choir, and

Praise Team. You are definitely

appreciated.

with cameras and mics ready for our online

streaming service.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, many online

viewers have tuned in weekly for the Midweek

Bible Study and Sunday services, and

the Media Team has readily and skillfully

responded to the demand. The Youth

Ministry received children for Children's

Church, providing them with a haven to

hear and learn about God like children do:

freely asking their innocent questions

about who God is, where He lives, and how

big He is. The teachers and ministers

patiently answer, occasionally giggling. The

Youth Ministry also provides Liturgical

dancing during worship depicting the

sacredness and holiness of worship

through Dance. Everyone was on their post.

As people began to enter, they stopped to

greet one another and me. Almost

everyone made a point to stop and hug the

stranger to their church.

Bishop Parker preached a powerful

message that day and the Altar Call that

followed drew many for prayer. The Elders

took their places to minister to the needs of

those who came one by one.

When the Benediction was given, everyone was slow

to leave the assembly, wanting a little more time with

each other, smiling, embracing.

I would be remiss if I overlooked the invisible ministries

of the church. They are not front and center like other

ministry gifts, however, without them the church

would be hampered. These are the Church

Administrators, the Finance Committee, and

Communications and Marketing. They have the tasks

of ensuring the financial stability, integrity and

soundness of the church in its fiscal responsibilities,

ensuring that God’s house is well maintained in both

its internal and external affairs. They keep the Body

and community well-informed, through diverse

communication modes and maintain the membership

profiles, and historical and financial records for the

church. As a 501c3 the church’s records are subject to

periodic audits. Having and maintaining these records

is paramount to its sustainability.

It has been almost a year now since I walked through

the doors of this Church, I’ve learned more names, and

I have even had the opportunity to break bread with

some. Ministry continues in its

excellence. However, it is not the duties of ministry

that have caused me to return to Truth each week. It is

the love that was demonstrated by those called into

ministry, their love for God and for

each other.

Ministry without love becomes burdensome. Not love

of ministry but love of those for whom ministry was

given (Ephesians 4:11-12) “And he gave some, apostles;

and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some,

pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints,

for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the

body of Christ:” May your love be spoken of long after

ministry ceases.

Yes, that is the effect that she has been known to

have. The no-nonsense anointing that she

carries, has served to make others see this walk in

a more enlightened way

And what more could be said about

our Co- Pastor the illustrious Dr.

Wanda Parker, that has most surely

not already been said? With intent, we

shall see. As I have been tasked with

sharing heartfelt words about her,

which is to say, her effect and

influence on the House, I am going to

share a more formal version of story

that has already been told.

I remember coming to Truth

Tabernacle for the first time on Easter

Sunday 3 years ago, where

she happened to be the speaker for

that day. As the Church most certainly

partook in a high time in the

Lord, we got to that point where it was

“preaching time,” and who better to

deliver the Word for such

an important occasion than her.

The anointing over her that day was

flowing. Her reach and delivery style

resonated with every word.

Lives were affected. A few people’s

hearts were changed. And when my

wife and I got home, we had one of

the most important conversations of

our lives. As we shared the effect that

the day’s service had, we converged

on what stood out to us the

most.

Elder Brian Baker

With no disagreement whatsoever,

we surmised that the true highlight

of the service was the SPOKEN and

DELIVERED Word, while the title of

that sermon suggested, “(We

would) NEVER Forget What He

Said, And What He Did.” Surely,

what He did was show my wife and

I that HE

had blessed us to find our new

Church-Home.

The way she sometimes preaches

follow-up messages to what our

Bishop preaches, by way of spiritled

attentive listening, it indeed is

wonderful to see as it unfolds.

And may I say that it is amazing

also to see how she is still in such

high demand outside of

Truth Tabernacle. I am only glad

that we can say in the Spirit, that

while she is known for sharing the

Word, all around the country, and

the world, it is comforting to know

that we ALWAYS receive

something SPECIAL, when she is

right here, with US.

“We thank God for you, Co-Pastor

for doing your part in making Truth

Tabernacle, the place

to be, for someone like me…

and my wife”

meticulous care for their

Bishop Parker

This couple provides vital

support in advancing the

gospel by serving as a

reliable and trustworthy

aide to those who carry its

message. Their willingness

to support pastoral

leadership, and visiting

supporting the church's

vision and mission is

commendable.

Bishop Parker's humility permeates his leadership.

Though widely respected, he remains approachable,

displaying remarkable patience in navigating church

complexities and sensitivity in his interactions with

people. He’s a trusted voice in my life.

Visionary, leader, shepherd, pastor -

these words only begin to describe

the remarkable character of Bishop

Dr. Haywood L. Parker. As his

Executive Administrator, I have had

the privilege of witnessing firsthand

the profound impact of his ministry

and leadership.

From my first encounter with Bishop

Parker, I can say without wavering

that he has consistently embodied

the qualities of a true man of God.

His unwavering support, constant

encouragement, and capacity for

forgiveness have been cornerstones

of his interactions with both his staff

and congregation.

Bishop Parker's love for God and His

people shines through in every part

of his ministry. Watching him

interact with the saints, you can’t

help but feel the genuine care and

compassion he shows. As the

Executive Administrator to the

Bishop, my role is to support and

carry out his vision, ensuring that

every detail aligns with his heart for

the ministry and the people we

serve. I’m honored to serve.

Elder Pamela Garrett

I’ve been blessed to serve many

great leaders from numerous

denominations. What sets Bishop

Parker apart is not just his

charisma or his ability to deliver

powerful sermons, but his

unshakeable faith and visionary

leadership. We have watched him

weather storms that have broken

others, not because he was

inherently stronger, but because

his trust in God's purpose for his

life remains steadfast. His

resilience in the face of adversity

is a testament to his deep-rooted

faith and the divine purpose that

guides his path. His faith inspires

my faith in the midst of personal

uncertainties.

In conclusion, we are blessed to

have Bishop Dr. Haywood L.

Parker and Co-Pastor Dr. Wanda

Parker as our spiritual leaders.

While Bishop Parker guides our

local congregation with wisdom

and grace, Dr. Wanda Frazier

Parker extends the reach of their

ministry across the globe.

The impact of Dr. Wanda

Frazier Parker's ministry

is felt throughout our

strength, faith, and

passion for the gospel

inspire us all, particularly

our women, to step

boldly into our calling.

Her global ministry

brings a worldwide

perspective to our local

church, I’m grateful for

both of them – for

Bishop Parker's steady

presence and for Dr.

Wanda's far-reaching

influence. Their

enriches our church in

ways we're still

MINISTRY

TRUTH TABERNACLE MINISTRIES

BIRTHED THROUGH PRAYER - BUILT ON THE WORD -

CALLED TO EXCELLENCE- CARING FOR THE COMMUNITY

Elder Janice Williams

Intercessory prayer is very impactful to the ministry. When we

come together to pray for others, it fosters a deeper sense of

connection. Intercessory prayers have a significant role in

spreading the gospel, while it’s not the same as direct evangelism.

Intercessory prayer softens the heart and opens the mind to

receive the message of the gospel. It gives you a more receptive

heart to hearing the word of God. Intercessory prayer can combat

spiritual forces that might otherwise hinder you from accepting

the gospel of Jesus Christ. Prayer breaks down barriers.

Intercessory prayer can open doors for evangelism. It makes

spiritual preparation for the environment or community in which

you are going to evangelize. Intercessory prayer is an essential and

powerful way to spread the gospel because it engages God's

sovereign power to work in the hearts of the people and to

prepare the world for the message of salvation.

During a particularly difficult and challenging time in my life, my

path led me to the Intercessory Prayer Team. Overwhelmed by

loneliness and despair, I couldn't see a way to recover from my

situation. The path forward seemed impossible to find. Prayer,

which had always been my solace, no longer came easily - it

seemed I had exhausted every possible prayer. For a while, only

liquid prayers remained. I needed support that went beyond mere

words; I needed the power of prayer itself. Turning to the

Intercessory Prayer Team proved transformative as they guided

me through with their prayers and intercession. Their spiritual

presence was palpable, and the deep connection and compassion

they showed reminded me that even in my most vulnerable and

challenging moments, strength and hope could be found through

the Intercessory Prayer Team. Thank you for being there.

Intercessory prayer can have a transformative impact on our lives.

When we come together to pray it fosters a sense of connection

and unity. Intercessory prayer makes you feel loved and supported.

It encourages you to become resilient during challenging and

hard times. Intercessory prayer involves standing in the gap for

others offering petitions before God. Intercessory prayer deepens

empathy. It is a ministry of selflessness. It allows the team to

actively support and uplift others. Being a part of an Intercessory

Prayer Team, will strengthen your faith and give you a sense of

purpose that transcends your own challenges and encourages you

to focus on the needs and concerns of others.

Incorporating prayer into your own daily life can bring numerous

benefits, both spiritually and emotionally. First and foremost, daily

prayer contributes to a deeper connection with God. It gives you a

sense of grounding and purpose. It offers a safe place to express

yourself to God. Daily prayer cultivates resilience as you navigate

life's ups and downs. A daily prayer routine is a powerful way to

nurture your spiritual growth. It helps you to approach each day

with intentional hope and a sense of purpose. I am so very grateful

for the Intercessory Prayer Team at Truth Tabernacle Ministries.
