AIMMP's mission is to represent, promote and protect the interests
of Portuguese companies from the five sectorial divisions that make
up the wood and furniture sector: wood cutting, felling, sawing
and wood packing; panels, other wood derivatives and biomass
energy; carpentry and alike; furniture and alike; export, import and
distribution of wood and derivatives. These industries export ¤2.6
billions per year.
Inter Wood & Furniture is a structured intervention program
that supports portuguese companies interested in developing
internationalization strategies in order to expand into new growing
markets. Over the years, this program has supported more than
400 companies, through more than 140 actions in more than 50
markets with incentives up to 50%, having certainly contributed to
the growth of the sector’s exports by around 1.000 million euros in
the last 10 years.

Strong Wood Floors is a company whose
main activity is the processing of wood for
multilayer floors, solid floors and terraces. Multilayer
flooring is a product that, in addition to
rationalising wood consumption and significantly
reducing environmental impact, uses a birch
marine plywood base and a noble wood strip,
thus reducing variations due to exposure to the
weather and humidity. In addition to the inherent
advantages of using the birch marine plywood
base, we also achieve the natural beauty of
the noble wood top layer. The final finish is the
application of a Bona brand UV varnish with 6
coats or Blanchon UV oil applied in the factory.
In addition to the wide range of standard
products, it is characterised by a permanent
adaptation to the needs of the customer and
