Hope Partners International exists
to rescue children and transform
their lives through acts of
compassion in Jesus’ name.

The name Hope Partners was first written on the back of a
napkin in 2005 during a conversation between two lifelong
friends. As they spoke, the “what ifs” began to flow: What
if we truly live out Christ’s Commission to serve the least
of these? What if we go to the hardest places, reaching the
world’s poorest and most forgotten? What if we dare to
step into the darkest corners and bring the hope of Jesus
to some of the most marginalized people in the world?
Those questions turned into prayers. Five years later, in
2010, Hope Partners International was launched with a
calling that began from a simple “what if.”

Imagine entire
populations trapped...
caught in a relentless cycle of suffering— deprived of food,
forced into trafficking, compelled to drink contaminated
water, left without secure homes, and denied
the basic right to education.

Extreme poverty is a devastating force.
It traps families in cycles of hardship and despair,
passing its grip from one generation to the next. And
as Christ’s followers, we see beyond the darkness,
even in the midst of such overwhelming suffering.
But Hope is being built—literally.

Where there was once an empty field,
now stands a Hope Center.
The early “what ifs” led to the establishment of our
first Hope Center in the slums of San Jose, Costa Rica.

Through our Hope Centers...
Hope Partners International has firmly planted itself in
the fight against extreme poverty, trafficking, slavery, and
injustice. We are dedicated to rescuing young lives. Despite
the overwhelming challenges and profound adversity faced
by the children we serve, our Hope Centers shine as places
of refuge and transformation, fulfilling our God-given
mission to care for the least of these.
