In December 2016, Sibarth Real Estate opened its new office, a contemporary space 

dedicated to real estate, whose success was quickly confirmed, both by the flattering 

comments of its clients and by the number of transactions generated. The integration 

of new talent to develop a team that was already well established, has boosted 

the reputation of the agency and consequently reinforced our brand image as “The 

Reference for St Barth”. 

Less than a year later, on September 6, 2017 hurricane Irma hit St Barth hard, 

inflicting considerable damage to the island’s infrastructure and nature, threatening 

its economy and deeply affecting its population. However, the courage and the 

work in the weeks and months that followed, of the local community and territorial 

administration, resulted in the rapid recovery of St Barth, further proof of its 

extraordinary resilience. 

Strengthened with this conviction, the property market participants, as usual, 

remained serene during this period. Sibarth Real Estate, widely recognized for its 

competence and integrity during its forty-three years of activity, resumed its 

central role of contact and advice, as soon as the agency reopened on September 21, 

2017. Most of the transactions that were already under contract have been closed 

and new ones have been negotiated, including some exceptional sales. 

Some of these are illustrated in this new brochure, which I invite you to look through, 

as it is a reflection of our corporate culture and an ambassador of our properties and

En décembre 2016, Sibarth Real Estate ouvrait sa nouvelle agence, un espace contemporain dédié 

à l’immobilier dont le succès fut vite confirmé, tant par les commentaires flatteurs de ses clients 

que par le nombre de transactions engendrées. L’intégration de nouveaux talents venus étoffer une 

équipe déjà bien rodée a permis d’accroître la notoriété de l’agence et, par voie de conséquence, de

Moins d’un an plus tard, le 6 septembre 2017, le cyclone Irma frappait St Barth de plein fouet, 

infligeant des dégâts considérables aux infrastructures comme à la nature de l’île, menaçant son 

économie, et touchant profondément sa population. Mais le courage et le travail de la communauté 

locale et de l’administration territoriale, dans les semaines et les mois qui ont suivi, ont permis le 

redressement rapide de St Barth, nouvelle preuve de son extraordinaire résilience. 

Forts de cette conviction, et selon leur habitude, les acteurs du marché immobilier sont restés 

sereins durant cette période. Sibarth Real Estate, largement reconnue pour sa compétence et son 

intégrité au fil de ses quarante-trois ans d’activité, a repris son rôle central de contact et de conseil

parfait pour y régler quelques affaires en toute quiétude, tout en

landscape, with a 360° view but also well protected by 

the surrounding vegetation and 

rocks. Located in the hillside of 

Lurin, in a rocky garden, the 

house is only a few minutes from 

the sandy beach of Gouverneur. 

Villa Rose is characterized by its 

layout of the different spaces, which 

create mini paradises that are 

skillfully nestled next to each other. 

The main building has a superb 

Italian kitchen, a dining room and a large living 

room. Here, one can live with the large glass doors 

wide open, the plants as natural furniture and the 

incredible feeling of living isolated from the rest of

a réalisé près de deux cents projets dont cette incroyable 

villa. Bénéficiant d’un panorama sur les collines et l’océan 

en arrière-plan, la propriété est une merveille d’intégration 

mais bien protégée par la végétation environnante et 

une minéralité omniprésente. Située sur les hauteurs 

de Lurin, dans un jardin sec, elle n’est 

qu’à quelques minutes de la plage de 

sable de Gouverneur. La villa se distingue 

surtout par une disposition des 

différents espaces qui créent autant de 

mini paradis savamment imbriqués les 

uns à côté des autres. Le bâtiment principal 

abrite une cuisine italienne très 

bien équipée, une salle à manger ainsi 

qu’un grand salon idéal pour se relaxer. 

On y vit les baies vitrées grandes ouvertes, avec les plantations 

comme mobilier naturel et l’incroyable sensation de vivre isolé 

du monde. Ce bâtiment est séparé du reste de la propriété par 

une terrasse bordée d’un bassin japonais, d’une piscine miroir 

et de larges decks dont la disposition magnifie les lieux en un 

site d’exception. L’accès aux chambres s’effectue, lui, grâce à 

un sentier aménagé à travers le jardin sec, formé de multiples 

arbustes, cactus et roches calcaires. 

Le parcourir procure à chaque fois le même plaisir, délicieux

Each time you walk the path leading you to the different 

bedrooms you have the wonderful sensation of walking 

through Eden’s garden. There are four bedrooms, two 

in their own independent bungalows, each with their 

own scenic terrace, private pool and a seating area, 

ideal for relaxing in the cushions for an afternoon read 

and an open, bright bathroom with a huge shower. At 

the end of the path, the last building has two bedrooms 

with the same features, perfectly suited for a family. 

All the rooms have polished concrete floors and one 

can walk between them and the teak terraces, from the 

inside to the outside in blissful continuity. The sliding 

doors and curtains are there, only if needed. 

The furnishings have been designed by Catherine 

Pawson, a renown interior designer, who opts for wood 

and white tones for her materials and colors and simplicity 

and minimalism with maximum comfort for the 

layout. Even if the bedrooms have the more or less the 

same design, one can see the different play with the 

curtains, giving each room its own elegant identity. 

Completely open, villa Rose nevertheless remains 

totally private. There is an armchair and ottoman 

posed on the edge of the property, overlooking the 

neighboring land. It is a small space of absolute purity, 

an architectural chiasmus, symbolizing absolute 

perfection and simplicity. 

Elles sont au nombre de quatre. Les deux premières bénéficient 

chacune de leur bungalow indépendant ; mais elles ont 

également leur terrasse privative dans un décor cinématographique 

avec un bassin individuel et un kiosque où se réfugier 

dans les coussins pour une lecture d’après-midi; une salle de 

bains ouverte, lumineuse, au bénéfice d’une douche vitrée d’une 

spaciosité rare. 

En bout de parcours, le dernier bâtiment offre deux chambres - il 

sera dès lors plus adapté à un profil familial, et affiche les mêmes 

caractéristiques que les deux précédentes. Il est à noter que 

toutes les pièces possèdent un sol en béton ciré. Entre celui-ci 

et le teck des terrasses, on a l’agréable bonheur de pouvoir vivre 

pieds nus, dehors comme dedans, dans une propriété passant 

sans coup férir de l’intimité à l’extimité, de l’extérieur à l’intérieur, 

pour former un tout d’une indéniable cohérence. Des parois 

coulissantes ou des rideaux sont les seuls et suffisants artifices 

permettant de se retrancher si tel est désiré. 

L’ameublement a été imaginé par Catherine Pawson, une décoratrice 

d’intérieur de renom qui a favorisé le bois et le blanc 

dans le choix de ses couleurs et des matériaux, et la simplicité 

du minimalisme au service d’un confort maximal dans chacun 

de ses agencements. Si les chambres bénéficient ainsi 

peu ou prou des mêmes services d’exception, on apprécie 

particulièrement la subtilité des jeux de rideaux qui permet à 

chacune d’avoir une identité propre tout en discrétion élégante. 

Totalement ouverte sur l’extérieur, la villa Rose n’en reste pas 

moins d’une intimité totale. Et puis, il y a aussi ce fauteuil avec 

ottoman posé en bord de propriété et comme surplombant 

les terrains avoisinants. Un mini espace d’une pureté absolue, 

ce qu’on pourrait nommer un chiasme architectural, tant ce 

bout de paradis symbolise l’absolue perfection d’un tout 

entièrement tourné vers une reposante simplicité.

is painted entirely in white, bringing great clarity to the

bar. There are three bedrooms, located on either side of the

different nuances of blue, that blend with the sky and the ocean. 

In addition, the villa also has a charming Nordic inspired bungalow,
