All bookings are for events held 1 December 

2024 -28 Feb 2024 will be held over Zoom 

or in person. 

Spaces fill up quickly so we recommend you book in 

as soon as you can. If you can no longer attend, please 

contact a member of staff or cancel online so it can be 

offered to someone on the waiting list. 

If your chosen event is booked out, join our waiting 

list. We will contact you if tickets become available. 

A reminder that booking fees apply to some holiday 

activities and are non-refundable.

tab. You can search for the event name or browse by 

category, audience, language or month. Click on the 

event and click the red ‘Register for event’ button on 

the right-hand side. Please make sure your details are 

correct as a staff member may need to contact you 

regarding your event. 

BY PHONE OR IN BRANCH: 

Contact us by phone or in branch, and a staff member 

will book you in to the event.

Adventure provides fun storytelling, songs and craft. 

They also introduce children to stories from our

Special Storytime 

16 Days of Activism (3+) 

The UN's "16 days" campaign runs from 

25 November to 10 December each year, with the 

message that everyone has the right to live without 

the fear of violence in their lives. At these special 

storytimes, we'll encourage children to think in 

ways that avoid gender bias and stereotyping, and 

help them develop attitudes of mutual respect and 

gender equality.

Olivia Muscat 

Join writer and disability arts advocate Olivia Muscat 

for an engaging and dynamic writing workshop, held 

in celebration of International Day of People with 

Disabilities. Explore techniques to create authentic 

and interesting characters for any story. During this 

workshop, participants will learn ways to enrich their 

writing through character. Olivia Muscat is a totally 

blind writer, actor, performer and disability activist. 

She uses her love for colour, joy and music to tell 

stories that make people want to examine their 

attitudes towards disabled people and difference in 

general.

Madame Brussels, a legendary 19th-century 

Melbourne brothel keeper, remains celebrated, but

Caroline Hodgson. Born in Prussia, she arrived in

her husband was sent away. She quickly became 

a successful entrepreneur, with her main brothel,

Cyanotypes 

Create stunning, blue-hued images using sunlight 

and a special photosensitive solution. This workshop 

offers a unique blend of science and artistry, 

participants will gather a variety of leaves, flowers, 

and plants, arranging them on photosensitive 

paper and exposing them outside. Please bring sun 

protection and a water bottle. Note: This workshop is 

weather dependant, if we are unable to work outside 

we'll notify you and arrange an alternative indoor
