CHAIRMAN’s MESSAGE TO

TI BATCH ’69 55TH EMERALD REUNION

E-BOOK

Our TI Batch ’69 created again an

affair to remember being together

in our 55 th reunion as we cherish

the memories of our High School

Days in Tanauan Institute. As I said

before, High School days are the

most memorable in our academic

life. It was 55 years ago and we have

gone a long way.

I have seen again your joy when we met each other. The singing, dancing, the

jokes and laughters made our Emerald reunion fun. We had a chance to meet

again some of our teachers and listened to their words of wisdom. Thanks God,

they are still able and strong despite their age.

The more I feel now that we have to do a reunion again in a few years time.

We have to get in touch every now and then. If not face to face, let ‘s utilize more

our group chat.

Again, let me extend my thanks to the “ Core Group”and “Contributors” whose

joint effort in helping me and providing financial support made our 55th Emerald

Reunion possible.

See you again in our next meetings and 60th Diamond Reunion!

It has been 55 years , very long time, since we marched in our graduation attires.

We are very young then as I had my eyes in tears remembering the face of my

proud mother during that time. I know all of you too have memorable moments

during our graduation in 1969.

MESSAGE OF MRS. CARANDANG

Just like your mentors, some of you have reached your senior age. Thank God for

being still alive and kicking just like me. Some feel sad for being old for they feel they

could no longer of service to others. Always remember these lines from "Life is What

We Make It"

Your inviting me in all your reunions fill my heart with joy. It gives me a sense of

self-fulfillment for you acknowledge what we have done in molding your future.

My secrets to a joyful life was being contented with what i have, living a simple life,

having friends to go out with, and enjoying the beauty of nature. My heart dances with

joy when i see flowers in bloom and gentle swaying of the branches of the trees. To be

of service to others , pray for our loved ones and our enemies too. Again, my heartfelt

gratitude. I'll be looking forward to your more reunions. I'll be there.

May the good Lord bless us all!

“Let's often talk of nobler deeds

Mere rarely of the bad ones

And sing about our happy days

And not about the sad ones.

Oh this could be a happy world

To those who may partake it

The fault is ours, if it is not

This life is what we make it.

Some are saddened because of lack of material possessions.

Think of these lines:

Lord give me the light to see

That the most beautiful things I'll ever have

Are those which I have right now.”
