HoteliersGuild is a non-profit private society for international discerning industry leaders
with a pledge to sustainable luxury and responsible travel, and the services and advise
provided to the Corippo Foundation 1975, owners of the Corippo Albergo Diffuso are probono.
Our concept to elevate the Corippo Albergo Diffuso model into an even more sustainable
and viable business rests on four core pillars, each contributing to a model that is
sustainable, culturally enriching, and economically sound:
Respectful Architecture & Design: We prioritize the acquisition of additional rustici, the
preservation and careful restoration of Corippo’s unique architectural heritage, ensuring that
each rustico retains its traditional charm while meeting the needs of modern hospitality.
Hospitality & Cuisine: By enhancing the village’s culinary offerings in close collaboration
with the Chef and via the HoteliersGuild Chefs Chapter, we aim to provide guests with an
authentic taste of local cuisine, incorporating seasonal ingredients and regional specialties
in a fusion with international cuisine.
Cultural & Wellness Events for Marketing & PR: Curated events that celebrate local
culture and wellness are central to our strategy. These events attract visitors while
promoting Corippo as a destination that values both tradition and well-being.
EcoLuxNature SPA Diffuso by ananné: This innovative spa concept focuses on
sustainable luxury, offering wellness experiences inspired by nature and designed to blend
seamlessly into the local landscape.
To achieve long-term success, our strategy involves streamlining supply chains and
consolidating backroom and marketing processes. This approach enables us to realize the
benefits of scale as we expand, creating efficiencies that support sustainable growth.
Additionally, this model is backed by our CHC-Alliance Partners and bolstered by
international collaborations through our global network, positioning Corippo as a unique
destination with a strong foundation for future development.

The Corippo Foundation 1975 has embarked on a mission to preserve and revitalize the extraordinary
village of Corippo in the Verzasca Valley, Switzerland. This initiative transforms Corippo into an
"Albergo Diffuso," or "scattered hotel," preserving its heritage while inviting guests to experience life
within its historic walls. We not only applaud their efforts but are actively supporting them through our
global membership.

donations, as well as to provide ongoing input to create awareness for this extraordinary lighthouse

Our Vision for the Albergo Diffuso
1. Preservation of Heritage
By restoring Corippo's traditional stone houses (rustici) into unique, comfortable guest
accommodations, we can safeguard the village’s historical architecture and cultural identity.
These restorations honor traditional aesthetics and craftsmanship, offering visitors a window
into the past while breathing new life into the village.
2. Year-Round Tourism
Our goal is to attract tourists throughout the year, especially during the quieter months from
October to April. By enhancing Corippo's allure in the off-season through activities like winter
walks, cultural workshops, and local culinary experiences, we aim to sustain a thriving
community and support local businesses.
3. Boosting the Local Economy
Increased tourism will directly benefit the Verzasca Valley’s economy. Local businesses, artisans,
and services will see a rise in demand, leading to new opportunities for job creation and
business ventures. This results in a more sustainable economy that supports Corippo and
neighboring communities.
The Urgent Need to Acquire Additional Rustici
Currently, only a limited number of rustici have been renovated and incorporated into the Albergo
Diffuso, showing early success and strong visitor interest. To fully realize the potential of this initiative, it
is essential to expand the number of available accommodations. Each additional rustico represents:

• Enhanced Visitor Capacity: Meeting the demand from various groups, from couples to
families, who seek an authentic experience within this unique village.
• Authentic Village Atmosphere: Establishing Corippo as a "living village" rather than
simply a historical site. This lived-in, active village feel is essential to the Albergo Diffuso
experience and significantly enhances its appeal.
• A Long-Term Foundation for Growth: Expanding the number of rustici creates a robust
foundation for continuous tourism growth, attracting new visitors and offering varied
experiences, which in turn supports the broader local economy.
