WELCOME TO
THE LEARNING ADVENTURE!
The Learning Adventure began providing school trips and educational tours
in 2011 – and since then, we’ve taken thousands of students from all over
the world on academic travel programs. Many of our growing team come
from an educational background, and most of us interact with teachers
every day. We understand the rewards and challenges of working in the
education sector, so we aim to support you as much as possible in planning
your next school trip.
This brochure outlines a selection of our Classics school trips - however, we
can customize any tour for you globally. What’s more, all of our school tour
itineraries are fully customizable in line with your budget and requirements,
so please reach out to us to discuss your needs.
You may notice that itineraries in this brochure do not have prices attached.
This is because each tour is customized specifically to your requirements
and can vary depending on departure date, number of students, travel style,
activities included and guides required. However, we always ensure that the
price we quote is the best price available as we want as many students as
possible to experience an educational trip abroad. If you would like to find
out the specific cost of a trip, enquire via phone, live chat, or email and one
of our Educational Specialists will create a quote and budget, fully
customized to your group’s requirements.
WHY CHOOSE
THE LEARNING ADVENTURE
Fully Customizable Itineraries
You will find a small sample of our itineraries in this brochure with
more available on our website. However, no two trips with us are ever
the same. We customize all our itineraries to your learning objectives
and travel style. We cater to any programme, from service trips and
cultural tours to subject-focused educational trips and faculty-led
university programmes.
Experts in Educational Travel
We started as a group of avid travellers and former teachers with a
shared belief that some of the best experiences happen when travel
and education meet. Now, we run hundreds of school trips every year
and have perfected the art of curating, organizing and executing
academic travel programmes.
Organized by Experts
We believe that who we are is what we do. Our team of travel
professionals work with trusted suppliers and specialist partners to
make sure every aspect of your tour is planned to perfection. This
includes guides, activities, accommodation, food and in-country
transportation, as well as detailed Health & Safety audits. Our
commitment to overseeing our tours from beginning to end means
that we are completely confident in their standards.

ATOL, ABTA & Topp Bonded
We have a Total Payment Protection (topp) Policy and an Air Travel
Organiser’s Licence (ATOL). These are designed to protect customers
in the unlikely event of a company ceasing trading. Under our parent
company, Transforma Travel Group, our UK office is also a member of
ABTA – membership means that ABTA has deemed us a reputable
company with high standards of service.
Great Value for Money Trips
We ensure that we deliver the best price possible. We are able to
customize the itinerary to your budget and needs, providing
recommendations on transportation methods and accommodation
options, as well as advice on the best-suited length and location
of your trip.
Health & Safety is Our Number 1 Priority
We understand the responsibility that comes with taking students
abroad. We have a 24-hour emergency helpline, our staff are trained
in safety procedures and have completed safeguarding training, our
trips are risk assessed and we provide a list of the nearest healthcare
facilities in advance. Thanks to our rigorous stress tests and
procedures, with thousands of students joining our tours every year,
we have an excellent safety record.

as necessary, commitment- and cost-free. We do this because we
understand that itineraries may need to be approved by several
members of senior management.
Pre-Departure Meetings
To prepare students and parents for departure, a member of our
team can come into your school to present on the trip ahead.
We provide information on the learning objectives, packing list,
flights and methods of contact. This will also be included in a

Varied Travel Styles
We cater to all travel styles, from hostels to four-star hotels.
Accommodation must meet our standards and students never
share rooms with the public or the opposite sex. Whether you
choose private or public transportation, we only use reputable,
safe and trusted modes of transport.
On-the-Ground Support
We have offices in Asia, Europe, Australasia & the US, so we
are always on hand to help during your trip. Your dedicated
Adventure Leader will provide on-the-ground support during
your trip.

CASE STUDIES
Noyola School took an exciting Classics & culture
trip to Naples & Rome:
I am very impressed with the customer support that The Learning
Adventure has. The fact that Hannah was with us from the
beginning of the planning of the trip to the day of departure was
something that I've never experienced before. The trip itself was
very educational. My students are already looking forward to our

I am delighted with the service that The Learning Adventure

The Grayson School from Philadelphia took a ten-day
trip to Rome and Florence. As students had been
studying Italian history, the school worked with The
Learning Adventure to make sure their itinerary was
challenging and informative.
We used The Learning Adventure for our first international trip to
Rome and Florence last year. We spoke to several other tour
groups who had a very specific itinerary they ran with no changes
or adjustments, and knew we wanted to give our students a
different experience. Rory and Alex were super responsive, made
lots of adjustments, scheduled extra expert guides for us, and
were very clear throughout the process. We are getting ready for
our next trip with them to London & Paris and plan on doing
several more with them in the future.
