This helps create a reliable and
ongoing revenue stream for
aesthetic clinics, fostering long-term
patient loyalty and retention.

Thousands of ways to
customise treatment
With a range of treatment options
available, clinics can customise
treatment to suit the needs of
almost any patient. Treatments

through: choice of chemical peel
strength, from 7.5 to 30% glycolic
acid; three specialised tips for

Dr
Sean
Arendse
Medical Director, Flawless
Rejuvenation Skin Clinics,
Melbourne, VIC
We bought our first Hydrafacial
device over 10 years ago and we
love it so much that we currently
have four systems in place.
Hydrafacial has made a huge
difference to our practice. It delivers
an outstanding result, with our
clients walking out of the clinic
looking amazing.
The other key thing is that
we’ve seen a significant increase
in revenue since we’ve had the
Hydrafacial devices. In fact, they’ve
been so successful that we’ve
recently introduced the ‘Hydrafacial
club’ where clients pay a certain
amount every month towards a
Hydrafacial treatment and then they
get a number of treatments as part
of their membership. It’s proved
incredibly successful for us.
Hydrafacial has definitely made
a difference to our clients’ skin
health. It has become a cornerstone
of Flawless Rejuvenation; we
recommend the treatment to all our
clients because it really does deliver
radiant and hydrated-looking skin.
We bought our first Syndeo
by Hydrafacial about a year ago
and we like the device so much
that we upgraded our other three
Hydrafacial devices to Syndeos.
The Syndeo devices are as easy
to use as the previous Hydrafacial
system, but have added features,
including gesture control and the
backlit Gunkie Jar. It also looks
sleeker and more aesthetic than
the previous devices; functionality
is the same, but it just has a better
feel to it.
We have found that a Hydrafacial
device really does play nice with
other devices and modalities we
have in the clinic. We often combine
Hydrafacial with other energy-based
devices or an injectable treatment
and that really supercharges the
results. Hydrafacial will give you
more hydrated and cleaner skin
to start with. So, it’s a no-brainer
that you’re going to get better
results if you layer that on top of
an energy-based device or an
injectable treatment.
The support from Hydrafacial
has really been amazing and they
certainly held our hand when we
bought the device. They helped
us implement the device into our
practice and trained our staff on
how to get the best results for our
clients. The ongoing marketing
support we receive is excellent,
which has helped us drive revenue
and increase our client base.
People always ask me when
they’re setting up business what
are the three devices they should
invest in. One of those three devices
is the Hydrafacial because I think it
6 AESTHETIC MEDICAL PRACTITIONER
is really the cornerstone of what we
do with regards to skin physiology
and skin health. The results that it
gives our client base are remarkable
and the fact that it partners with
other devices within the practice is
another advantage.
We don’t have to worry about
whether our clients are going to
sign up for Hydrafacials. What we
need to worry about is if there’s a
Hydrafacial device available to do
the treatment, because most of
them are used literally from
the minute we open the clinic to
the minute we close. I would
have no hesitation in recommending
a Hydrafacial device to anyone
that’s thinking about starting a
cosmetic clinic or introducing
a Hydrafacial into an already
established practice.
‘Hydrafacial has definitely made a difference to our
clients’ skin health. It has become a cornerstone of
our clinic; we recommend the treatment to all our
clients because it really does deliver radiant and
hydrated-looking skin.’

‘The Hydrafacial
system has
transformed my
business. Not only
has it improved
the quality of my
services, but it has
also helped me
attract new clients.’
I purchased my Hydrafacial in
November 2022. It was actually
after experiencing this treatment
first-hand at the Hydrafacial booth at
COSMEDICON conference! To date,
I haven’t had any skin treatment
that has given me such instantly
noticeable results after just one
treatment. This was definitely a big
selling point – and I wanted to offer
the same results to my patients.
The Hydrafacial system has
transformed my business. Not only
has it improved the quality of my
services, but it has also helped me
attract new clients. Hydrafacial’s
reputation for producing noticeable
and fast results has piqued the
curiosity of existing clients and
attracted new ones, contributing
to the development and success of
my practice.
With Hydrafacial, we can satisfy
the different demands of our clients
by providing a comprehensive and
customisable treatment menu,
offering a standalone treatment
or in conjunction with other
skincare therapies.
Hydrafacial is an ideal add-on
treatment. I regularly combine
Hydrafacial with modalities like
the ‘vampire facial’, Morpheus8
(radiofrequency), chemical
peels, sonophoresis, LED light
and microneedling. Combining
Hydrafacial with these modalities
can create a powerful synergy for
comprehensive skincare.
For any of these treatments,
skin preparation and maintenance
are key, and Hydrafacial does a
great job at both prepping the
skin and maintaining results of
the procedure.
Hydrafacial’s deep cleansing
and hydration prepare the skin
for subsequent complementary
treatments, maximising their
effectiveness. For example,
pairing it with the vampire facial,
microneedling or LED light therapy
enhances product penetration,
promoting collagen production
and skin rejuvenation. Additionally,
combining with Morpheus8
(radiofrequency) can further tighten
and tone the skin. Chemical peels
and sonophoresis can address
specific concerns like pigmentation
or acne, offering a personalised
approach to skincare. This
combination therapy approach
ensures optimal results, leaving
patients with refreshed, radiant skin
and addressing a wide range of
skincare needs. Regular Hydrafacial
sessions assist in extending the life
of these procedures and keep our
patients looking their best.
Hydrafacial has quickly become
a fundamental treatment in our
clinic, one that both attracts new
clients and retains existing ones.
Incorporating Hydrafacial has
dramatically increased patient
satisfaction and the success of
our clinic.

We bought our first Hydrafacial
machine back in 2014 and our
second one shortly after that. In an
industry where trends, treatments
and machines tend to come and go,
Hydrafacial has endured and remains
our most popular treatment.
It is the backbone of our clinic,
and whilst it is used as a ‘gateway’
to other treatments, the standalone
results are impressive in
their own right.
The Hydrafacial technology
has evolved over the years. Now,
with the variety of tips, solutions
and boosters, plus the customisable
parameters of the machine, it is
possible to move from a basic
medical-grade Hydrafacial treatment
to an advanced clinical experience,
tailor-made for each skin that
we see.
As a medical skin clinic, we
certainly see the benefits for
our patients in regular monthly
Hydrafacials – improved barrier
function, better hydration, more even
skin tone, less pigment excess – but
we also see the synergism in more
effective neurotoxin treatment,
improved recovery from ablative
laser and greater efficacy of active
home skincare.
‘It is the backbone of our clinic, and whilst it is used
as a ‘gateway’ to other treatments, the stand-alone
results are impressive in their own right.’

Medical Director, Inigo
Cosmetic, Brisbane, Qld
‘I think a brand is
the people behind
it, and that’s the
important thing.
So, great people
mean a great
brand.’
Inigo Cosmetic has been open
since 2020. I actually bought my
first Hydrafacial before this, in 2019
when I was first going out on my own
and planning to open a clinic. The
Hydrafacial was my first machine
and allowed me to really cast the
net wider in terms of the sort of
treatments I could do and the types
of patients coming through the door.
Prior to this, I had been exclusively
performing surgery. Surgical
patients aren’t always going to want
non-surgical or skin treatments, so
having a Hydrafacial system really
brought in the patient base.
When I first purchased the
Hydrafacial I didn’t really know much
about skincare or the aesthetics
business, and so it was just a device
there to attract people based on the
name – and it did. People knew the
name Hydrafacial and they would
come in and ask for treatments.
After a while, I came to realise that
it actually preps the skin for more
advanced treatments as well.
Results from other modailities I
have in the clinic are bolstered by a
Hydrafacial treatment beforehand.
I upgraded to the Syndeo
Hydrafacial in 2023. I’m a big fan of
technology and the latest devices,
so I knew I had to upgrade my
current machine, too.
For the therapist coming from the
original Hydrafacial to the Syndeo,
it’s really easy for them to pick up
and just use it. There’s not a steep
learning curve there. They’re already
familiar with how the machine
functions and so it’s just easier now
with the gesture control and some
of the automations of the Syndeo
versus the traditional Hydrafacial.
I love the Hydrafacial team. I
think their support is great. A lot
of companies are quite happy to
sell you a device, deliver it and you
never really hear from them again.
Hydrafacial has been different.
They’ve always been there when
we needed help from them, any
assistance, any advice. We partner
with them as well to do events in
the clinic, such as VIP events, and
this helps to promote both our
business and Hydrafacial. I think a
brand is the people it, and that’s the
important thing. So, great people
mean a great brand.
I’m very excited about Hydrafacial
and how it’s going to continue to
increase revenue through the
clinic. As I’ve been doing more
research into the clinical studies
that Hydrafacial has produced, I’m
seeing more and more potential
in what it can do. It’s not as limited
as I once thought. It’s not just a
nice treatment to have – it’s really
something that can initiate a
conversation with the patient and
steer them in the right direction, so
that they ultimately get great skin
results and we grow our business.

We received our first machine
back in 2014 and recently upgraded
to the new model, so we’ve been
using the Hydrafacial system for
10 years now.
Hydrafacial’s ability to deeply but
gently cleanse and hydrate the skin
simultaneously sets it apart. It not
only removes decongestion and
dead skin cells but also infuses the
skin with bespoke anti-inflammatory,
antioxidant hydrating serums for
brighter/clearer skin. Patients leave
the clinic with glowing skin and their
face feels clean, which makes them
feel like they got the results they
came in to address.
The customisable nature of
Hydrafacial and the ability to offer
it in combination with other
treatments make it effective to
treat all skin types and skin
concerns. It’s also great to package
it up with other energy-based
devices and treatments.
We offer different facial
treatments depending on skin
concerns. For example, we regularly
use the Hydrafacial with Cutera
Laser Genesis and LED Healite to
help treat acne. We also use the
Hydrafacial and Spectra Carbon in
combination to reduce congestion,
regulate oil production and give
immediate increased collagen levels,
pore tightening, and refined and
plumped skin.
For at-home treatment after a
Hydrafacial, we recommend our
patients use the dr.NC Micropeel
Wipe for a couple of days posttreatment
for more effective results.
We recommend using the dr.NC
Micropeel Wipe weekly, then a
Hydrafacial monthly.
We offer a multitude of tiers with
the Hydrafacial to improve skin
health: signature, deluxe, platinum,
as an add-on for the back (backne)
and chest, and also as a rejuvenation
facial in combination with other
treatments. It is a great tool to
get people started on their skin
rejuvenation program as it delivers
instant results. Our Hydrafacial is a
lead generator in the clinic.
Hydrafacial treatment is not only
cost effective but relaxing, noninvasive
and results-driven. It’s a goto
treatment at the clinic for a quick
lunchtime pick-me-up or right before
a special event as this treatment
has no downtime. You’re good to
go once you leave the clinic with
brighter, clearer and hydrated skin!
The Hydrafacial system is popular in
our clinic and in the top three for our
most booked treatments.

hydrate the skin simultaneously sets it apart.’

We have been using Hydrafacial
since 2014. We were one of the first
clinics in WA to introduce Hydrafacial
MD in our clinics.
Over the years, Hydrafacial has
become a brand in its own right.
People actively search for it online
and we have benefited greatly from
its popularity. With this platform,
we can treat a diverse array of
skin conditions, such as dryness,
dehydration, enlarged pores,
pigmentation, acne and breakouts,
to name a few. This has hugely
benefited our clinic and our patients.
Being suitable for all skin types
and with little to no downtime,
we recommend Hydrafacial as a
foundational treatment to anyone
who is seeking an advanced laser
or skin rejuvenation treatment
that requires skin preparation.
For example, we recommend a
course of Hydrafacial before
any fractional CO 2
laser treatment
to help prepare the skin for
the procedure and to reduce
treatment downtime and potential
adverse effects.
We were the first clinic to combine
Hydrafacial with treatments such as
LED light therapy and Q-Switched
Lasers back in 2014 and we still do
it today. Hydrafacial magnifies the
treatment outcomes and improves
the overall results of almost every
other skin treatment that we offer.
From a business perspective,
this device has been immensely
beneficial. Hydrafacial is so popular
that most people book several
sessions in advance as a package,
and that helps us retain clients over
longer periods of time.
I would like to thank the team at
High Tech Medical for introducing
Hydrafacial to Australia and helping
us grow our business over the years.

Hydrafacial immediately results in
a smoother, more hydrated and
glowing skin. With a course of
Hydrafacial treatments, the skin is
brightened and we see a softening
of fine lines.
It is particularly beneficial in
treating acneic skins. The result
is less congestion overall and a
reduction in active acne.
The Hydrafacial technology
ensures what you take out of the
skin, you put back in. Hydrafacial
allows us to simultaneously cleanse,
extract and hydrate the skin using
one piece of machinery. We also
have a booster to temporarily
plump up the skin, designed to
smooth the appearance of fine
lines, wrinkles and stimulate
collagen and elastin production.
Hydrafacial is the starting point for
all skin treatments in our clinic. It is
good for all skin types but allows us
to cater to a younger demographic
as well. It is essential in the deep
cleaning process and is something
that can be done during the patient’s
lunch hour.
Sometimes patients want to
have a really effective treatment
but without the downtime. They
may have social, family or work
commitments and downtime is
just not an option, yet they are still
after healthy, smooth, glowing skin.
Hydrafacial ticks all these boxes.
Hydrafacial also allows our
patients to maintain good skin habits
in-between the use of homecare
products and more invasive skin
treatments in clinic.

‘Combining
Hydrafacial with

in our clinic has

rejuvenation.’
Since opening our clinic in 2019,
Hydrafacial has been a cornerstone
of our skincare treatments. This
treatment has become a go-to for
patients seeking a non-invasive way
to achieve healthy, glowing skin.
Hydrafacial is a valuable asset
to our clinic by providing a noninvasive
treatment that appeals to a
wide range of patients, addressing
concerns like hydration, texture
and radiance. It’s a popular choice
for those seeking an entry-level
treatment with little to no downtime,
making it an easy addition to any
monthly skincare regimen.
Hydrafacial works as a
foundational treatment in
our practice; while it’s often a
starting point for patients new to
professional skin treatments, it
also serves as a supplementary
treatment. We use Hydrafacial as a
combination therapy to enhance the
effectiveness of other treatments.
Its ability to deeply cleanse, exfoliate
and hydrate the skin creates an ideal
foundation for targeted procedures
like microneedling, chemical peels
or laser therapies. This versatility
allows us to integrate Hydrafacial
into personalised treatment
plans, supporting skin health
while boosting the results of other
treatments and helping patients
maintain their skincare goals.
For microneedling, we perform
a Hydrafacial beforehand to
cleanse and prep the skin,
leading to better collagen
stimulation and active ingredient
absorption. When used with
laser treatments, Hydrafacial
hydrates the skin and reduces
inflammation, improving laser
tolerance and speeding up
recovery. Before radiofrequency
(RF) treatments, it optimises skin
hydration, allowing for deeper
energy penetration and better
tightening results. After chemical
peels, Hydrafacial helps restore
moisture and remove dead skin
cells, enhancing the healing
process and the peel’s effects.
This approach lets us offer
comprehensive skincare plans that
combine different technologies for
optimal skin health and rejuvenation.
Combining Hydrafacial with
other devices in our clinic has
led to noticeably enhanced results
in skin rejuvenation. Using
Hydrafacial boosts hydration,
leading to plumper, more radiant
skin, and accelerates recovery,
minimising redness or irritation.
We’ve used Hydrafacial as a
key strategy to retain patients
by positioning it as a regular
maintenance treatment that
supports long-term skin health.
Its instant, visible results with no
downtime make it an appealing
choice for patients seeking
consistent skin care, encouraging
them to return for repeat sessions.
By integrating Hydrafacial into
personalised treatment plans
alongside other procedures, we
create a comprehensive skin
regimen that keeps patients
engaged with their progress,
fostering loyalty to our clinic.

We introduced our first Hydrafacial
device to our clinics several years
ago and it has become a great
success! This treatment is beneficial
for basically all my patients – old,
young, males, females, people with
problematic skin and for those
who just want to rejuvenate their
skin. It is especially useful as an
initial treatment for those patients
apprehensive about entering the
world of cosmetic medicine.
I believe HydraFacial is so well
accepted and sought after due to its
superior vortex fusion technology.
It provides a deep clean, effective
exfoliation and extraction followed
by hydration and support of the
skin by the application of serums
in a gentle but efficient manner.
Furthermore, our therapists are able
to tailor the treatments with different
boosters, tips and add-ons such as
LED light sessions. We can now even
treat other areas of the body other
than the face.
Our patients love their Hydrafacial
treatments because they are very
comfortable (even relaxing), and
they feel and look fantastic at the
end. Patients love to see how much
debris was extracted in the waste jar!
I partner Hydrafacial treatment
with all the other treatments we
provide at our clinics. The reason
for this is that it helps with lines
and wrinkles, elasticity and pores,
skin texture, pigmentation problems,
enlarged pores and oil congestion.
My patients who are coming in
for injectables, laser or other
devices achieve a better result
when they combine their treatment
with Hydrafacial.

Hydrafacial can be easily used in
conjunction with other treatments,
both before and after to really
prime and condition the skin. We
recommend it one week after
fractional resurfacing to give the
contrast of smooth skin after a week
of ‘rough’ skin. The procedure is
gentle enough to perform on all
skin types.
We tend to promote it to patients
who are a little more hesitant about
skin treatments. We then perhaps
move on to a fractional resurfacing
treatment when they want to
seriously turn back the hands of
time. Clients love to ‘see’ their skin
waste products in the solution. It’s
kind of ‘yucky but nice’, because
we generally like to think our skin is
cleaner than it actually is.

clinic. It addresses essential
skincare needs, such as hydration,
exfoliation and cleansing. I often
recommend it as a starting point
for new clients, as it provides a
comprehensive overview of their
skin condition and sets the stage for
tailored follow-up treatments.
I frequently combine Hydrafacial
with other advanced devices, such
as LED therapy and laser treatments.
This multi-faceted approach allows
me to enhance the effects of each
treatment. For instance, performing
LED therapy after a Hydrafacial can
promote healing and boost collagen
production, leading to even better
skin outcomes.
With the combined therapies,
clients have reported improved skin
texture, tone and overall radiance.
The synergy between Hydrafacial
and other modalities creates a
comprehensive treatment plan that
addresses specific skin concerns,
leading to higher satisfaction and
loyalty among my clients.
From a business perspective,
Hydrafacial has proven to be a key
strategy for patient retention. Clients
who experience the exceptional
hydration and rejuvenation effects
are inclined to return for regular
treatments. Moreover, because
Hydrafacial treatments are both
effective and visible, they generate
repeat business, contributing
positively to the clinic’s revenue. The
ability to offer treatment packages
has also encouraged clients to
commit to ongoing skin treatments.
I believe strongly in the
importance of continuous education
and staying updated on the latest
trends in aesthetics. Hydrafacial
not only aligns with my mission
to provide high-quality skincare
treatments but also supports my
commitment to patient wellness.
Overall, it has been a fantastic
addition to my practice, and I look
forward to continuing to integrate it
into my services.
‘The synergy between Hydrafacial and other
modalities creates a comprehensive treatment plan
that addresses specific skin concerns, leading to
higher satisfaction and loyalty among my clients.’

I have been using the Hydrafacial
system for over 10 years and was
the first to introduce it to the Central
Coast. We now have two Hydrafacial
devices which are used consistently.
Hydrafacial has been an asset to
Dolce Vita Skin. As a cosmetic mediclinic
we certainly see the benefits
from our clients having regular
monthly treatments. Hydrafacial
covers all skin conditions for both
men and women, and we see
improvement in barrier function,
hydration levels and overall skin
clarity, as well as improved texture
and tone of the skin, pore size and
acne breakouts.
Hydrafacial is a great entry point
to our services and attracts new
clients to our clinic. It also works
seamlessly and synergistically
alongside our laser and cosmetic
treatments to take our clients’ skin to
a new level and improve the overall
experience. We recommend monthly
Hydrafacial treatments to our clients,
which encourages good skin habits
in between other treatments and
improves the efficacy of their home
care regime.
Hydrafacial sets the groundwork
for treatment results, improving
barrier function and the appearance
of fine lines and wrinkles. It is quick,
convenient, affordable and helps
sustain long-term skin results. This
device also caters to the younger
demographic and encourages great
skin habits.
The Hydrafacial system has
transformed my business. It helps
us meet the demands of our clients
by offering a customisable and
comprehensive experience. It is
the most used device in our clinic
and has improved the quality of
our services and enhanced our
reputation as a premium clinic
that offers the latest in skincare
technology and treatments. We are
thrilled to be part of the Hydrafacial
global team!

Hydrafacial has become the
foundational treatment in our
practice due to its versatility and
efficacy. It serves as an excellent
starting point for many of our
patients, providing a clean canvas by
exfoliating, extracting impurities and
hydrating the skin. This preparatory
step enhances the effectiveness
of other treatments, such as skin
tightening or laser procedures, as
it optimises the skin’s condition.
Additionally, its non-invasive and
pain-free nature makes it suitable for
a wide range of patients, including
those with sensitive skin.
As a foundational treatment,
Hydrafacial sets the stage for our
practice by addressing a variety
of skin concerns and improving
overall skin health, making it an
integral part of our treatment
offerings. Hydrafacial’s versatility
allows us to tailor treatments to
each patient’s specific needs,
ensuring they receive a personalised
skincare experience. We’ve also
implemented loyalty programs and
package deals, offering discounts
for multiple sessions, which
incentivise patients to return for
ongoing treatments. Hydrafacial
is a well-known brand, so it also
attracts new clients to the practice
specifically for this treatment.
The impressive and visible results
Hydrafacial delivers have made
patients more loyal to our clinic, and
the positive word-of-mouth referrals
from satisfied clients has led to
increased referrals, further bolstering
our patient retention efforts.
Hydrafacial Syndeo has been
one of our latest practice upgrades.
It enables us to address a wider
range of skin concerns in our
patients, resulting in smoother,
brighter and more youthful-looking
skin after just one session. This
addition to our service offering has
truly elevated the quality of care we
provide to our patients.

‘From a financial
perspective,
the device has
proven to be
profitable; within
just six months
of acquiring it, we
recouped our initial
investment.’
As a therapist, I have been using
Hydrafacial for seven years, and
have had this device in my own
business for 12 months now.
The introduction of Hydrafacial
has significantly benefitted our
clinic in numerous ways. It is a
beautiful treatment that delivers
instant results, making it highly
appealing to clients. Its reputation
as a household name, supported
by endorsements from celebrities
and major skincare companies
through various boosters, has
built considerable trust among
the general public. This brand
awareness has attracted clients who
may not have otherwise visited our
clinic – we have seen an influx of
interstate and international clients
who are visiting the area requesting
this treatment.
Additionally, Hydrafacial is
advantageous for new staff
members, as it is easy to sell
due to its immediate results and
straightforward application process.
From a financial perspective,
the device has proven to be
profitable; within just six months of
acquiring it, we recouped our initial
investment. Plus, being part of the
Hydrafacial community has fostered
growth through social media
engagement, allowing us to share
posts and stories that enhance our
visibility and reach.
Hydrafacial serves as an essential
foundation treatment in our clinic,
combining immediate visual
results with effective skincare
solutions. We also integrate the
Hydrafacial treatment with China
Doll laser facials, skin needling
and LED therapy. By combining
these treatments, our clients are
experiencing longer-lasting and
enhanced results. Their skin appears
plumper, clearer and more hydrated
for extended periods. Many clients
report that the effects of their
‘Hydrafacial glow’ are lasting longer
than before.
The treatment’s ability to deeply
cleanse, exfoliate and infuse serums
tailored to individual skin types plays
a crucial role in maintaining hydration
and promoting a radiant complexion.
As a result, clients are enjoying not
only immediate improvements but
also prolonged benefits that support
overall skin wellness.
To accommodate diverse needs
and budgets, we offer a range of
membership programs, treatment
packages and pay-as-you-go
options. Our Hydrafacial services
are available in various tiers – from
express to platinum – ensuring that
everyone can access effective
skincare solutions tailored to their
financial situation.
Hydrafacial has proven to be
an excellent investment for our
business. It has attracted numerous
new clients who may not have
otherwise visited us, leading to a
noticeable increase in revenue.
Additionally, the treatment has
enhanced our social media
presence, allowing us to engage with
a broader audience and showcase
the benefits of our services.
The combination of these factors
not only boosts our financial
performance but also strengthens
our brand reputation in the
beauty and wellness industry. As
more clients share their positive
experiences online, we anticipate
continued growth and an expanding
client base.
