Vorwort
Dieses Fotobuch soll die Vielfalt an
Orchideen und deren Varietäten
aufzeigen, die in einem naturbelassenen
Habitat vorkommen. Die
Anzahl von Orchideen und Varietäten
in einem kleinen Habitat ist
erstaunlich. Wenn man der Natur
ihren Lebensraum lässt, dankt sie
uns mit dieser herrlichen Blütenpracht.
Es gibt nicht viele Habitate
mit dieser Anzahl Varietäten von
Ophrys holoserica und Ophrys
holoserica subsp. elatior. Leider
können nicht Fotos von allen
Varietäten hier aufgeführt werden,
aber es vermittelt doch die grosse
Varietät dieser Orchideen, speziell
der Ophrys-Arten. Wie Charles
Darwin schon sagte: «Es gibt nicht
nur eine Pflanze.» Einige Orchideen-
Freunde sehen in diesen Varietäten
neue Unterarten von Ophrys
holoserica und Ophrys holoserica
subsp. elatior. Dieses Buch könnte
durch seine Anzahl Fotos einen
Beitrag dazu leisten, Orchideen-
Freunde abzuhalten, immer neue
Spec. subsp. var. oder forma zu
erfinden. Geschützte Naturreservate
gibt es immer weniger und viele
Pflanzen sind vom Aussterben
bedroht oder schon ganz verschwunden.
Viele Menschen wissen nicht,
dass Orchideen zu den geschützten
Pflanzen zählen. Es fehlen aber
auch die Ressourcen, um diese
Reservate zu pflegen, wie das Mähen
zur richtigen Zeit, und dass diese
Reservate beschützt und kontrolliert
werden. Die Natur hat mehr Ressourcen
als der Mensch. Geben
wir der Natur ihren Raum, denn sie
bestimmt unser Leben.

This photo book will give an overview
of orchids and their variety in
a natural habitat.
It is amazing how many orchids and
varieties can grow in a small habitat.
If you give nature its living space it
will thank you with its wonderful
flowers. There are probably few
habitats with this number of
varieties of Ophrys holoserica and
Ophrys holoserica subsp. elatior.
Unfortunately not all varieties can
be listed here but it conveys the great
variety of orchids, especially of
Ophrys species. As Charles Darwin
already said: “There is not only one
plant.” Some orchid friends see in
this varieties subspecies of Ophrys
holoserica and Ophrys holoserica
subsp. elatior. With its variety of
photos, this book could contribute to
creating more clarity and prevent
many orchid friends from creating
new species, subsp. forma etc.
Protected nature reserves are getting
less and many plants are threatened
by extinction or have disappeared.
Many people do not know that
orchids are protected. But the
resources are missing to maintain
the habitat, the right time to mow
and for controlling. Nature has more
resources as humans. Let's
give nature its space because it
determines our lives.

Ce livre de photos a pour but de
montrer la diversité des orchidées et
de leurs variétés présentes dans un
habitat naturel. Le nombre d'orchidées
et de variétés dans un petit
habitat est surprenant. Si l'on laisse
à la nature son espace vital, elle nous
remercie par cette magnifique
floraison. Il n'y a pas beaucoup
d'habitats avec un tel nombre de
variétés d'Ophrys holoserica et
d’Ophrys holoserica subsp. elatior.
Malheureusement, il n'est pas
possible de présenter ici des photos
de toutes les variétés, mais cela
permet de se rendre compte de la
grande variété de ces orchidées, en
particulier des espèces Ophrys.
Comme l'a dit Charles Darwin:
« Il n'y a pas qu'une seule plante. »
Certains amateurs d'orchidées
voient dans ces variétés de nouvelles
sous-espèces d'Ophrys holoserica
et d'Ophrys holoserica subsp.
elatior. Par le nombre de photos, ce
livre pourrait contribuer à dissuader
les amateurs d'orchidées d'inventer
toujours de nouvelles spec. subsp.
var. ou forma.
Les biotopes naturels protégées se
font de plus en plus rares et de
nombreuses plantes sont menacées
d'extinction ou ont déjà complètement
disparu. Beaucoup de personnes
ne savent pas que les
orchidées font partie des plantes
protégées. Mais les ressources
manquent aussi pour entretenir ces
réserves, par exemple en les fauchant
au bon moment et en les
protégeant et en les contrôlant. La
nature a plus de ressources que
l'homme. Donnons à la nature son
espace, car c'est elle qui détermine
notre vie.

Wildwachsende heimische Orchideen sind stark
vom Aussterben bedroht und doch ist es möglich,
durch ein wenig Pflege und Rücksicht dazu
beizutragen, diese schönen Pflanzen zu erhalten.
In diesem Buch werden die Anzahl und vor allem
die grosse Varietät der Orchideen, die in einem
Habitat wachsen, aufgezeigt. Der Orchideen-
Spezialist Rolf Kühn hat über Jahrzehnte dieses
Habitat besucht und dieses in seinen Bildern
festgehalten.
Nos orchidées sauvages sont très menacées d’extinction, mais avec un
minimum de soins et d’égards, il serait possible de préserver ces belles
plantes. Ce livre nous fait découvrir le grand nombre et la variété des
orchidées qui poussent en différents lieux. Depuis des dizaines d‘années,
Rolf Kühn, spécialiste des orchidées, a parcouru maintes fois ces
lieux pour y photographier ces magnifiques fleurs.
