About Harris Lake Park:
The Harris-Lake Park Elementary is located in Lake Park,
IA. Originally the H-LP High School, the building has been
configured to accommodate our PK - 5 students. The Harris-
Lake Park MS/HS is also located in Lake Park. The MS/HS
was built in 2004, and an addition was constructed in 2015
updating the facilities.
K-5 Campus
Located in Lake Park, IA, the building was the site of the
previous Harris-Lake Park High School. It provides plenty of
space and resources for teachers and students to be a part
of an engaging education. The K-2 students have access to
Ipads with the 3-5 students having access to Chromebook
2:1 tablets. Mike Thompson has been the elementary
principal at Harris-Lake Park since 2022.
MS/HS Campus
MS/HS Campus, also located in Lake Park, IA, is home for
grades 6-12 and many of teachers span the Middle School
and High School grade levels. The MS/HS building is a
great facility built within the last 25 years that includes a
gymnasium, auditorium, public library, wellness center,
and much more! Principal Greg Hiemsta has been at
Harris-Lake Park school year since 2018.
