Parents can play a crucial role as a teacher for their child, and U-46 offers

personalized support for families with children from birth to three years of

age. Each month, a caring member of our staff will meet with parents in the

comfort of their home to offer child-focused, developmental coaching.

THREE & FOUR

Our District offers half day preschool sessions in eight schools, for

children ages three and four. Children engage in activities to

develop their language, literacy, math, and social-emotional skills.

Our full day preschool program serves children at age four, the year

before they are eligible to enter Kindergarten. Students work on

language, literacy, math, and science in a play-based classroom. The

program supports the social and emotional development of the

children, and is focused on increasing Kindergarten readiness.
