THE 2024 QUEENSLAND REGIONAL ART AWARDS

The Queensland Regional Art Awards (QRAA) are Flying Arts Alliance's

signature annual art awards for established and emerging artists living

in regional, rural and remote Queensland. With the prize pool of over

$140,000, they are Australias' largest art awards for regional artists.

The awards showcase new artworks, providing a platform for artists

to receive both cash prizes and further professional development

opportunities.

ABOUT THE EMERGING ARTISTS EXHIBITION

The Emerging Artist Exhibition celebrates a selection of 20 regional

artists who reside in regional Queensland from enteries to the 2024

QRAA Emerging Artist Award category. The Exhibition features our

current Emerging Artist Award winner: Teddy Horton with their

video artwork Stars Align. Aditionally, Teddy’ s alongside the Highly

Commended and Finalist artworks for the category will be part of

the 2025 QRAA Touring Exhibition.
