The Selection<br />
The selection criteria for Bourdon tube pressure gauges<br />
are described in EN 837-2.<br />
<strong>Combi</strong> <strong>Gauge</strong>s are available in two basic versions:<br />
with one Bourdon tube<br />
as duplex pressure gauge with two Bourdon tubes<br />
Single Bourdon tube gauges are applied e. g.<br />
for separate compressed air pressure measurement<br />
of a brake cylinder or at the temporal reservoir of<br />
pneumatic brake systems.<br />

Duplex pressure gauges serve for reading two separate<br />
pressures at the same time, e.g. the pressures at<br />
the brake cylinders of two bogies or of the main air reservoir<br />
pipe and the main brake pipe of a pneumatic brake<br />
system.<br />
The pressure gauges are provided with two independently<br />
working measuring systems. A special duplex<br />
movement with two pointer arbors transfers the pressure<br />
caused motion of the Bourdon tubes to the pointers.<br />
The pressure connections are marked with a coloured<br />
spot, equal to the pointer colour.<br />
