SIRISH RA O: From Publishing to Public Engagement

S

RSirish

Rao has always sought adventure,

whether scaling the Himalayan peaks or

navigating the ever-evolving world of

arts and culture. Born in Bangalore,

India, his path was never a straight line

but a thrilling ascent, shaped by

creativity, risk-taking, and a deep

reverence for the natural world. His work

is a testament to the power of

storytelling, art, and dialogue in shaping

communities and challenging

perspectives.

In a 20 23 interview with The Tyee, Sirish

spoke of his belief that ' the feast' is at

the core of culture. Beyond food, a feast

signifies gathering, conversation, and

an act of hospitality. The principles of

the feast remain unchanged, whether it

involves inviting people to engage in

discussion, share in music, or experience

visual art. For Sirish, this concept extends

beyond the table? it is a guiding

philosophy in his work as a cultural

programmer and artist.

Vancouver presents both economic and

cultural challenges to fostering such

gatherings. A thriving arts scene requires

affordable housing for artists and

accessible spaces for creation, yet the

city remains an especially difficult place

to sustain artistic practice. Beyond these

structural barriers, Vancouver is also a

city of silos. Despite being one of the

most diverse cities in the world, its cultural

communities, artistic disciplines, and age

groups often remain disconnected.

013

Drawing from his experience in India, where

artistic engagement is more

multidisciplinary and multigenerational,

Sirish seeks to bridge these divides. He

applies the concept of the feast to his work,

bringing ideas, concepts, and practices

from previous artistic traditions into the

visual art world. One aspect he finds

particularly compelling is how visual art

differs from music or the performing arts in

its engagement with an audience. While

other art forms often involve a stationary

audience and moving performers, visual art

remains fixed while the audience moves.

This dynamic opens unique opportunities

for spatial storytelling? an approach that

informs Sirish?s creative practice and his

vision for a more interconnected cultural

landscape.

BUILDIN G A LEGACY

Sirish began his journey as the Director of

Tara Books, a fledgling publishing house

that he transformed into one of India?s most

celebrated.

Under his leadership, Tara Books gained

international recognition, collaborating

with institutions such as the J. Paul Getty

M useum in Los Angeles, the Kunsthal in

Rotterdam, and the M useum of London.

His ability to merge artistic tradition with

contemporary storytelling set him apart as

a visionary cultural leader.

SHAPIN G VAN COUVER?S ARTS

"Vancouver is on just about the opposite

side of the planet from my hometown

of Bangalore. This is true both

geographically and culturally."

"What brought me to Vancouver was love ?

my wife Laura Byspalko and I met in India.

She was doing her M asters in Publishing

studies at SFU, and chose to do her thesis

on Tara Books ? the publishing house I was

Director of in Southern India. The rest is

history ? for several years w e lived a

nomadic life between Canada and India,

and started a festival of arts and ideas

(Indian Summer Festival) that brought our

two worlds together."

"Through the festival, we were able to build

cultural bridges, and invite w riters, thinkers

and musicians to travel between the two,

opening new perspectives for audiences on

both sides of the planet. Then our daughter

was born here, and over time, Vancouver

has become truly home. So that?s the lens I

see Vancouver through ? a place I love first

and foremost because the people I love are

here. And of course, the people I love now

includes a vast and wonderful community."

"I knew almost no one when I got here

fifteen years ago, and now I feel very

enfolded by the city, and feel a

responsibility towards it as well."

Even when the world was in a pandemic

lockdow n, Sirish envisioned a project that

merged art with wellness, and launched

?Artist as Healer.?This groundbreaking

initiative connected artists in M etro

Vancouver with medical professionals to

develop creative healing methodologies.

His belief in art?s transformative power has

continuously driven his work, proving that

creativity is more than just expression? it is

a force for change and restoration.

015

LEADERSHIP AN D IN FLUEN CE

As the Senior Director of Public

Engagement & Learning at the Vancouver

Art Gallery, Sirish is dedicated to making

art more accessible, thought-provoking,

and deeply connected to people?s lives. In

this role, he leads efforts to bring diverse

perspectives into the Gallery and build

stronger connections with the community.

Working closely with the CEO and Program

Leadership team, Sirish ensures that

programs invite meaningful dialogue and

participation. He collaborates across all

areas of the Gallery, shaping its long- term

vision while fostering a work environment

where staff feel supported and inspired.

His goal is to cultivate a deeper

appreciation for the arts, encourage

philanthropy, and create spaces where

everyone feels welcome to engage with

art in new and meaningful ways.

"The Vancouver Art Gallery is at an

inflection point not unlike the one that the

city (or the country) faces. It is an old and

venerable institution that holds many

cultural memories and treasures. It is also

investigating what it means to be a cultural

hub in the 21st century, in one of the

world?s most diverse cities. Now this is work

that calls for creativity, innovation and

audacity, and you only need to visit the

Gallery today to see that in evidence ?

from the shapeshifting, time-travelling work

of Firelei Báez, one of the most exciting

artists of our times, to the thick, tangled

forestscapes of Emily Carr, and

experimental and subversive art from the

Eastern Bloc."

"Just walking from floor to floor of the

Gallery is like travelling to a different

w orld, or a different era. Not many

cultural experiences are like that. I also

think that most people?s idea of an art

gallery or museum is that you come there

to see art on the walls, and walk by in

hushed silence. What we?re doing at the

Gallery is so much more than that ? we are

a gathering place and a sanctuary for the

imagination. Every single day, our

incredible team of educators leads groups

of schoolchildren through the exhibitions,

inviting students to think independently, to

approach art with a questioning mind, and

encourage their self- expression."

"Over the course of Black History M onth,

we have a program called Celebrating

Black Futures, during which we have held

Hi-fi listening sessions with a DJ, offered a

sound bath experience, collaborated with

Vancouver International Film Festival to

show films, created a reading list with

Vancouver Public Library and N oorongji

books? the list goes on."

"In that same time, we have partnered with

PuSh festival to show the genre-defying

immersive performance work of Chimerik

(Canada/ Taiwan/ UK), an

multi-award-winning interdisciplinary

company consisting of artists from

underrepresented groups and disciplines

(film/ video, new media, VJ, XR, projection

& lighting design, experimental music,

visual arts, contemporary dance/ theatre

performance and spirituality)."

017

"This is part of our Centre for Global Asias

(CGA), a platform dedicated to catalyzing,

amplifying and sharing new understandings

of modern and contemporary Asian art and

thought."

"The CGA recognizes Vancouver?s unique

location on the Pacific Rim, and the cultural

and geopolitical connections that radiate

from here, thanks to the diverse people who

call this region home. Acting as a vital

bridge, the CGA aspires to be Canada?s

cultural gatew ay to the world. So, it?s not

just about art and walls - in a time of great

societal and geopolitical change, I think

the Gallery offers people a way to

transcend the world we currently inhabit,

and with the help of incredible artistic

visionaries, imagine new futures together."

AWARDS & ACCOLADES

Sirish also dedicates his time to serving on

various boards, including the Vancouver

Foundation, the VIFF, and the Chan Centre

for the Performing Arts. As Co-Chair of

Simon Fraser University?s India Advisory

Council, he strengthens cross-cultural

connections and thought leadership.

Sirish?s influence has not gone unnoticed. He

is the recipient of an Extraordinary

Achievement Aw ard (Darpan) and a

Lifetime Achievement Aw ard (Hari

Sharma Foundation), was named one of

the 20 M ost Influential South Asians in

Vancouver by Urban Asian and was

featured in Vancouver M agazine?s 20 25

Pow er 50 list.

His contributions to Canada earned him the

King Charles III Coronation M edal, a

testament to his impact on arts, culture, and

community. His journey continues, shaped by

a fearless commitment to creativity,

dialogue, and transformation.

M OVIN G FORWARD THROUGH STORY

"When I first got here, I saw Vancouver as a

young city just forming its identity (this is of

course the arrogance of someone who

comes from an old culture, where the

evidence of history is all around you)."

"After some time, I realized that the old

stories here ? those of the Indigenous

people of the land ? had been erased, or

ignored, or hidden. And then I realized

there were many new stories waiting to be

told as well ? of people who have made this

their home from many parts of the world. So

in a sense, Vancouver is a city in search of

a story."

"It contains many complexities, many layers,

but these are in need of some weaving.

That?s exactly what I try to do through my

work ? w eave people together, create

conversations, reasons to gather. What

Vancouver has given me is an opportunity to

create new community, to experiment with

ways of living and talking to each other that

are still emerging."

J. D.

BRANDON

CRAFTI NG

LEGACY

031

J

D

J.D. Brandon is the eponymous

luxury leather label founded by

Jordan Brandon in Victoria, BC.

Specializing in custom and bespoke

handbags, duffle bags, and

accessories, the brand is rooted in a

commitment to timeless

craftsmanship and refined simplicity.

Each creation is a testament to the

artistry of leatherwork, designed to

be cherished and passed down

through generations.

033

A PASSION : HAN DS- ON WORK

Jordan Brandon?s journey into the

world of leatherwork began with a

childhood immersed in hands-on

projects alongside his father.

Raised in Prince George, BC,

Jordan was no stranger to the value

of working with his hands, whether

repairing vehicles, landscaping, or

renovating homes. These early

experiences instilled in him a deep

appreciation for problem-solving,

precision, and craftsmanship,

qualities that would later shape his

path as an artisan.

Although initially trained as a

pharmacist , Jordan?s curiosity for

leatherwork was sparked by the

allure of artisans crafting beautiful

pieces.

In January 20 20 , he stumbled upon

videos showcasing skilled artisans

working with leather, and what

began as a casual interest soon

turned into an all-consuming passion.

It reminded him of the sense of

fulfillment he had felt while working

on projects as a child. The art of

handcrafting leather, particularly

through the painstaking method of

hand- sew ing, was something he

instantly connected with.

?As a small, independent workshop,

I give each creation my full attention,

ensuring that every item reflects

the artistry and dedication behind it.

I invite you to carry a piece of this

journey, and make it part of

your own story.?

035

THE EVOLUTION OF A LABEL

Jordan?s quest to master

leatherworking began with

small projects, such as w allets

and simple leather goods. As

his skill set grew, so did his

ambitions. He began tackling

larger and more complex

designs, eventually refining his

expertise to create handbags

and duffle bags. Despite

having no formal training,

Jordan?s dedication and

commitment to his craft led

him to master the intricate

techniques of saddle stitching

and traditional leatherwork.

Building J.D. Brandon while still

working as a pharmacist,

Jordan ensured that the brand

reflected his meticulous

approach to design and

craftsmanship.

The label quickly became

synonymous with precision,

quality, and thoughtful

artistry. Every piece is

designed to embrace the

beauty of transformation, as it

ages gracefully over time. The

minimalist designs reject

unnecessary embellishments,

favouring clean lines and

elegant forms that transcend

fleeting trends.

THE IN SPIRATION

Beyond the atelier, Jordan

finds inspiration in the natural

w orld, photography, and

adventure.

His love for hiking and

backpacking through remote

landscapes with his partner

often leads him to capture the

raw beauty of nature through

his camera lens.

Much like leatherworking,

photography requires

patience, attention to detail,

and an appreciation for the

moments that make the world

beautiful. Jordan also has a

passion for mixology, where

technique, precision, and

creativity converge to create

something extraordinary,

similar qualities that he pours

into every piece he creates.

Through J.D. Brandon, Jordan

remains dedicated to

exceptional craftsmanship and

a more personal approach to

luxury.

Each creation is designed with

the intention of becoming a

lifelong companion? meant

to be lived with, cherished, and

passed down through the

generations.

037

THE PHILOSOPHY OF SIM PLICITY

J.D. Brandon is built on a passion for

craftsmanship, simplicity, and

sustainability.

The designs celebrate the understated

elegance of clean lines and natural

textures. Each piece is meant to grow

more beautiful over time, becoming an

integral part of the ow ner?s journey.

The commitment to sustainability is

integral to the brand?s ethos. It partners

with ethical, sustainable tanneries

renowned for their craftsmanship and

responsible practices.

Every piece is crafted using leather from

these tanneries, ensuring both durability

and timeless beauty. The leather is paired

with hand- w axed linen thread for

lasting strength and premium hardware

for a touch of elegance.

Inside, French chèvre leather adds

remarkable durability and texture to

each creation.

At J.D. Brandon, sustainability is not just a

buzzword? it is a commitment to

responsible production. By maximizing

hide usage and carefully selecting

materials, it minimizes w aste and

honours both tradition and the future of

leatherworking.

CRAFTIN G WITH PURPOSE

?At the heart of J.D. Brandon lies a story

of dedication and artistry. I began

crafting leather goods out of a desire to

work with my hands? to create

something that tells its own story. With no

formal training but a relentless drive to

create, I embraced countless nights of

trial and error to perfect my craft.?

The process begins with a careful

selection of premium materials. Only the

finest leathers, hand-waxed linen thread,

and edge paint swatches are chosen for

each piece.

Essential tools such as knives, aw ls,

pricking irons, and hammers are used to

cut, shape, and prepare each leather

piece with precision.

Each pattern is traced by hand, ensuring

that every detail is crafted with care and

attention to achieve a perfect balance

of function, form, and lasting beauty.

One of the defining techniques used by

J.D. Brandon is saddle stitching? a

traditional hand-sewing technique that

uses two needles to pass through the

same hole from opposite sides.

This interlocking stitch creates a strong,

durable seam that enhances the beauty

and longevity of each piece. The use of

waxed linen thread ensures that each

stitch remains secure and durable.

039

Each item is more than a leather good? it is

a work of art that reflects a legacy of

craftsmanship. The use of Chiyogami paper,

a hand-screened artisan paper from Kyoto,

Japan, further speaks to the dedication to

artistry. The unique touch of this paper is

included in the packaging, making each

unboxing experience a celebration of

tradition and craftsmanship.

THE BESPOKE EXPERIEN CE

For those who value individuality,

craftsmanship, and timeless design, the

J.D. Brandon bespoke service offers an

exclusive opportunity to bring a unique vision

to life. The process begins with a

consultation to understand the client?s

desires, including material preferences,

colours, and design details. From there,

each piece is meticulously craft by hand,

employing traditional techniques.

The result is a one- of- a- kind creation? an

intimate reflection of the client?s personal

taste and ensures that each piece is as

unique as the individual who commissions it.

THE COLLECTION

The current collection includes a range of

timeless handbags, duffle bags, and

accessories. Among the standout pieces is

the refined June, a sophisticated bag that

combines elegance with practicality. The

M aria, with its classic lines and versatile

design, offers a timeless option for those

seeking understated beauty. The N OIR

collection adds a touch of sleek

sophistication, while the range of

accessories? card holders, passport cases,

and notebooks? completes the offering

for those seeking luxury in every aspect

of their lives.

J.D. Brandon continues to grow as a symbol

of exceptional craftsmanship, timeless

design, and a commitment to sustainability.

With each new piece, Jordan?s vision of

creating beautiful, functional leather goods

that are meant to be lived with comes to life.

Every creation is a reflection of his

dedication to artistry and a reminder that

the finest things in life are those that stand

the test of time.

?Each stitch and every piece of leather

carries the essence of my journey? a journey

defined by patience, craftsmanship, and a

deep appreciation for materials that grow

more beautiful with time. J.D. Brandon was

built on these values, crafting pieces

designed to embody simplicity and

elegance."

SHOWCA SE PIA NOS PRESENTS | Vancouver, BC

The Fazioli ' Firenze' piano is a

remarkable example of artistic and

technical excellence, blending the

traditions of both Eastern and Western

cultures.

This exceptional instrument,

commissioned by a discerning

Vancouver-based Chinese client,

embodies the spirit of exploration and

cultural exchange that defined the

legendary journeys of Firenze, Italy.

The result is a striking creation that is

as much a work of art as it is a musical

instrument.

The piano?s exterior, finished in a vivid

red lacquer, draws from traditional

Chinese aesthetics, while the interior

lid features a meticulously reproduced

Venetian landscape by the renowned

Italian artist, Canaletto.

The artist included a cheeky reference

to founder Paolo Fazioli playing piano

in one of the windows!

This fusion of Eastern and Western

artistry creates a harmonious contrast

that elevates the Firenze from a mere

piano to a profound artistic statement.

The stunning crimson finish captivates

the eye, while the timeless Venetian

scene beneath the lid brings to life a

rich narrative of Italian history and

artistry.

The contrast between bold modernity

and classical tradition invites

admiration from both music enthusiasts

and art lovers alike.

UN M ATCHED CRAFTSM AN SHIP

Beyond its captivating beauty, the

Firenze piano showcases a commitment

to technical perfection. Every element

of the instrument has been carefully

designed to produce an exceptional

sound experience.

The piano?s resonance is enhanced by

the Val di Fiemme Italian Alps

quarter-sawn soundboard, known for its

clear and vibrant tone. Other materials,

such as the laminated maple rim, radial

spruce beam frame, red spruce ribs, and

sand-cast frame, all contribute to the

piano?s unparalleled sound stability and

longevity.

The instrument?s action mechanism is

equally impressive. It uses the renowned

Renner action mechanism, which is

celebrated for its precision and

responsiveness, allowing pianists to

create nuanced expressions and

maintain dynamic control. The Kluge

keyboard, combined with the adjustable

capo d?astro bar, further enhances the

playing experience. Hand-notched

bridges and double duplex scale design

flawless as it is visually stunning.

The technical brilliance of the Firenze

O MTHE VISION ARY BEHIN D OUM A

Romance, artistry, strength, and

delight intertwine in the heart of

OUM A Bridal. Each piece is a

carefully woven story, transcending

the clichés of tradition to offer

something truly extraordinary.

Every bespoke design moves

beyond the ordinary, guiding the

wearer into a moment of

self-expression and transformation.

The couture atelier, located in the

vibrant city of Vancouver, BC, is

where creativity and craftsmanship

meet sustainability. Here,

zero- w aste practices shape each

gown, separate, and accessory,

reflecting a dedication to both

beauty and conscious design.

?The knowledge that something as

simple as fabric, thread, and

scissors could impact culture,

create movements, and leave an

imprint on someone?s life set me

on my lifelong path,? explained

Ou M a, founder and lead designer.

She has always embraced the

tactile and artistic. Raised in

Beijing , Ou discovered a passion

for illustration and painting at an

early age.

Her artistic journey led her to

explore new dimensions of

expression, shifting from the

canvas to couture, where

movement, fabric, and emotion

converge.

061

Ou's dedication to design took her

from Beijing to N ew York City, where

she graduated summa cum laude from

the Fashion Institute of Technology

(FIT). As a graduate, she honed her

skills with the renowned Calvin Klein

M ade- to- M easure Atelier before

joining the prestigious Ralph Lauren

Women?s Collection team.

Ou's aesthetic is a reflection of her

cultural experiences and global

influences. With a keen sense of

empathy and artistry, she seeks to

help women discover their confidence,

using couture as a means to bring their

inner essence to life. Through her

avant- garde approach, she redefines

romance, transforming traditional

bridalw ear into a canvas of

self-expression.

?At the heart of my business today is

intention? in design, craftsmanship,

and experience. OUMA Bridal is for

the modern, artistic bride who values

individuality and effortless elegance."

"Every gown is thoughtfully designed in

Vancouver with sustainability in mind,

offering a balance of contemporary

romance and timeless wearability.

Unlike mass-market bridal brands,

OUM A is personal. Each dress is

made-to-order, ensuring a unique

connection between the bride

and her gown.?

063

THE OUM A BRIDE

More than a bride, she is a storyteller,

a dreamer, and a woman of quiet

strength. The OUMA bride seeks a

gown that resonates with her

individuality, a piece that

encapsulates her journey.

Unapologetically herself, she is

romantic, empowered, and

effortlessly elegant .

For her, a wedding dress is not just a

garment but a timeless keepsake.

She values designs that merge classic

elements with modern sensibilities,

ensuring that her gown remains as

meaningful decades from now as it is

in the present moment.

She embraces subtlety, finding beauty

in intricate details and refined

silhouettes. Her style is not loud but

profoundly expressive, a reflection of

her grace and authenticity.

SUSTAIN ABILITY x IN N OVATION

At OUMA, sustainability is woven into

the very fabric of every creation. The

atelier's zero- w aste philosophy

ensures that every material serves a

purpose, crafting exquisite details

from remnants and repurposed

fabrics.

Leftover fabric is transformed into

delicate three- dimensional floral

embellishments, gracing pieces like

the Ivy cape and veils such as Agnes

and Rhea.

These intricate flowers add texture,

depth, and an unmistakable touch of

artistry. Fabric remnants are also

reimagined into elegant short veils,

offering brides a sustainable yet

stylish accessory. Each upcycled veil

is a testament to OUMA?s belief that

every thread holds value.

OUMA is dedicated to redefining

elegance with sustainability at its

core. By continuously innovating and

seeking new ways to minimize waste,

the brand empowers brides to make

choices that are not only beautiful but

also conscious.

WHY M ADE- TO- ORDER M ATTERS

The fashion industry generates

immense waste, with mass production

often leading to overstock and

discarded inventory. OUMA Bridal

challenges this norm by embracing a

made-to-order model, creating each

piece only when an order is placed.

This approach minimizes waste,

reduces the environmental footprint,

and ensures that every gown is

crafted with the utmost attention to

quality and fit.

Made-to-order garments are not

just custom-sized; they are

custom-experienced, reflecting

a wearer?s unique vision and

preferences.

065

Supporting made-to-order means

championing independent designers

who pour their passion into each

creation. OUMA Bridal maintains a

close relationship with its clientele,

crafting designs that carry personal

significance. Every gown tells a story,

and every stitch is a celebration of

individual beauty.

COLLECTION S & OFFERIN GS

OUMA Bridal offers a curated selection

of collections, each reflecting its

signature aesthetic of artistry and

innovation. Brides can explore four

made- to- order collections online:

OUMA Bridal is more than a label; it is

a movement that celebrates the fusion

of artistry, sustainability, and

individuality. Every creation is an

GLENDALOUGH

GLENDA LOUGH DISTILLERY | Wick low , Ireland

GAt the heart of every fine spirit lies a

dedication to craftsmanship, and

Glendalough?s Single Grain Double Barrel

Irish Whiskey stands as a testament to that

commitment. Available in British Columbia,

this award-winning whiskey is a modern

take on the possibilities within Irish whiskey,

setting itself apart with a unique maturation

process that blends tradition with

innovation.

FLAM E- CHARRED BARRELS

The whiskey begins its journey in the lush,

rolling hills of Wicklow , Ireland. A region

steeped in history and known as the

" Garden of Ireland." Here, the

Glendalough distillery draws inspiration

from the natural beauty of its surroundings.

The process starts with the meticulous

selection of American oak barrels,

previously used for Bourbon maturation,

which are then flame- charred to a precise

level 4 intensity. This char creates a rich,

deep profile, infusing the spirit with aromas

of vanilla and caramel that define its

smoothness and complexity.

s p i r i t s

081

OLOROSO CASK FIN ISH

But what truly sets Glendalough's

Double Barrel Irish Whiskey apart is

the finishing process. After 3½ years

in the ex-Bourbon barrels, the whiskey

is transferred to specially sourced

Oloroso casks from M ontilla,

Spain? a small town in the country?s

rolling southern hills. Here, the spirit

undergoes a secondary maturation of

8 to 12 months. The Oloroso

casks? carefully chosen from a

bodega known for its

expertise? impart deep, layered

flavours that elevate the whiskey to

new heights. Rich notes of dark fruit,

cherry, raisin, and fig mingle

seamlessly with the hints of agave,

butterscotch, and peppercorn,

creating an extraordinary balance of

sweetness and spice.

The result is a whiskey that is both

complex and light, with a smoothness

that makes it easy to enjoy in any

setting. It is a spirit that showcases

not only the dedication of its makers

but also the unique terroir of its

components? from the charred

American oak barrels to the fine

Oloroso casks from Spain. This

combination of local expertise and

international influences produces a

truly exceptional product.

083

ROLLS- ROYCE

SPECTRE

BLACK BADGE

117

ROLLS-ROYCE VA NCOUVER | 1809 West 5th A venue

R

RThe Rolls- Royce Black Badge

Spectre marks an extraordinary

chapter in the marque's history.

Representing the bold alter ego of

the iconic brand, Black Badge is

the embodiment of fearlessness

and sophistication. This daring new

addition is more than just a car; it

is a testament to pow er,

innovation, and exclusivity. For

those who have rejected

convention, this is a vehicle that

resonates with their spirit.

119

POWER BEYON D IM AGIN ATION

The Black Badge Spectre is nothing short of a

performance marvel, setting new standards

for Rolls-Royce. With 659 horsepow er and a

staggering 792 lb- ft of torque, it becomes the

most powerful Rolls-Royce ever built. This

might sound like a feat in itself, but it is the

result of a carefully honed understanding of

the Black Badge character. The vehicle's

creation was inspired by feedback from

discerning clients, who were invited to share

anonymized driving data to help Rolls-Royce

engineers develop a car that met their intense

expectations.

The result? A car that accelerates effortlessly

and provides exhilarating bursts of power

when needed. For those seeking even greater

intensity, Rolls-Royce introduced two

remarkable powertrain innovations: the

Infinity M ode and Spirited M ode.

The Infinity Mode, activated by a button on

the steering wheel, offers instantaneous

access to the full 659 hp, sharpening throttle

response and amplifying the car's immediate

power. Spirited Mode, on the other hand,

unlocks a level of performance akin to that

found in aviation. A press of the brake and

throttle simultaneously triggers a surge of

power, propelling the vehicle from 0 - 60 mph

in just 4.1 seconds.

AN UN PRECEDEN TED DRIVIN G EXPERIEN CE

At the heart of Black Badge Spectre is a

commitment to creating an experience that is

both powerful and controlled. Rolls-Royce's

chassis engineers have made refinements that

ensure drivers feel confident handling such

immense power.

With enhanced steering weight, improved roll

stabilization, and adaptive dampers, the

Black Badge Spectre offers unmatched

feedback during cornering while maintaining

the renowned M agic Carpet Ride that

Rolls-Royce is known for.

This balance of power and poise is achieved

through a design philosophy that blends

cutting-edge engineering with classic

Rolls-Royce luxury. The result is a car that

responds precisely to every input, making

driving both thrilling and effortless.

A DARIN G AESTHETIC

While the performance of the vehicle is

undoubtedly remarkable, its visual appeal is

equally compelling. This stunning vehicle

comes to life in a new Vapor Violet finish,

inspired by the neon glow of 1980 s and 1990 s

club culture. The bold colour choice speaks to

the car?s rebellious spirit, while the contrasting

Iced Black hood adds a striking element of

sophistication.

The exterior also introduces a new set of

23- inch w heels, designed to echo the hidden

technical brilliance of the Spectre. Paired with

a darkened finish on the signature Pantheon

Grille, Spirit of Ecstasy, and other key

features, the Black Badge Spectre exudes a

sense of power that is both refined and

aggressive.

One of the standout features of the Black

Badge Spectre is its Illuminated Grille, a new

creation that adds a vivid burst of colour to

the vehicle. Rolls-Royce offers a selection of

backplate colours, including Tailored Purple

and Chartreuse, allowing clients to match or

contrast with the car?s exterior colour scheme.

121

These illuminated accents extend into the

interior, with Illuminated Treadplates

available in ten colours, creating a

striking visual impact.

AN IN TERIOR M ASTERPIECE

Step inside the Black Badge Spectre, and

the intensity continues. The cabin is a

sanctuary of luxury and innovation,

featuring the unique pattern of the

Illuminated Fascia, which incorporates
