COMMENTARY:
Psalm 33:12
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the
people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.”
This nation is all the people who believe God was, and
will be again, Jesus on earth. Even though we are living
in different countries, among other religious sects.
The inheritance represents God’s promises, blessings,
and provision for His people.
Jews (adherents of Judaism) are histories longest
believers in God.
Thus, they are His favored ones.
Jews, like Muslims (adherents of Islam) and many other
groups of God believers, don’t recognize Jesus as God.
This accounts for their sufferings, as well as Muslims,
and other non-Jesus groups throughout history.
It also accounts for their persecutions of Jesus believers.
God gave Israel to the Jews at a time when all other
religions were polytheistic deistic or idol worshippers.
He took it away to get their attention.
He gave it back to get the world’s attention.
All nations have sinned and fallen short of the glory of
God. Our sins are quickly leading us to extinction.
His timeline does prevent the world’s self-destruction.
God, will intervene and Jesus will once again purge the
earth to create the true “One Nation under God” !
