This lack of real-time visibility frequently ledto delays and inefficiencies.At Laird, we use Swiftcase, an AI-powered platform,offering real-time data sharing across all nodes, with thepolicyholder at the centre. This means, for example, thatthe hire team can be alerted to an unroadworthy vehicle,the bodyshop instructed, and the driver kept informed—allwithout waiting for the CMC to process the engineer’sreport. Instead of one link at a time, all stakeholdersconnect simultaneously, creating a robust “hub” of activitywith multiple, constantly shifting pathways.This multi-directional data flow improves our ability toquickly source and deliver vital information on vehicledamage, repair and hire times, roadworthiness, and repairtypes—ensuring every stakeholder has access to what theyneed, when they need it.Meanwhile, automation streamlines repetitive taskssuch as data input, vehicle valuations, estimating, andcommunications. Whileeffective for assessing scratches and dents, they fall short,and can be dangerous, when evaluating serious collisions.AI and automation have transformed our traditional supplychain into a dynamic, interconnected network. Thisthree-dimensional model enhances efficiency, reduces costsand key-to-key times, and provides real-time transparency.The result is an improved experience for all stakeholders,from hire companies and bodyshops to insurers and CMCs,and, most importantly, for the driver.We’re not just adapting to these sweeping changes; we’redriving them forward. By combining human expertise withAI-driven insights, we deliver faster, more precise solutionswithout sacrificing the personal touch our clients rely on.The focus is no longer just on moving a product througha chain, it’s about navigating a living, evolving network ofpossibilities.Looking ahead, 2025 promises to be a landmark yearfor AI-driven solutions, particularly with the large-scaleimplementation of GPT and Agentic models withinSwiftcase.
