Monday 7 April

Comic Book Workshop (8+)

The Pines 2.00 pm - 4.00 pm Cost: $2

(Booking required - register online)

As a group we will create a Superhero

Comic, from desigining our hero and villain,

storyboarding together, and then drawing

up one page each. Your finished comic

book will be available to pick up later in the

week!

Movers and Shakers (0 - 3 years)

Explore the joy of songs, rhythm and

movement with your little ones in a fun

and interactive setting!

Tuesday 8 April

Body Superheroes! (4 -10 years)

Doncaster 2.30 pm - 3.30 pm Cost: Free


Let’s be body safety superheroes! Join body

safety expert and bestselling children’s

author Jayneen Sanders along with the

team from Level Playground to find out how

you can support your child to be a body

superhero.

Each family who attends the body

superheroes workshop will receive a body

safety pack to take home.

Children must be accompanied by a parent

or carer.

Makerspace Wacky Wind-Up Toys

one of the most interesting topics as it’s

like the sea: a new frontier of strange

and fascinating life! Combining fun with

geology, biology and ecology, we’ll get little

learners lit up about our beautiful planet.

Grown ups welcome to stay and

Ozobots are small, clever robots that

explore their environment by interpreting

drawings and colours as code.

Discover how to program and engage with

the tangible world using colourful

markers and the visual programming

language known as Ozoblockly. In this

session, we’ll build a city out of Lego for the

robots to drive around.

Coded Bead Bracelets



Join us for a simple craft activity to

explore binary and morse code systems

and create beaded bracelets that contain

secret messages. We’ll use this example

to understand how this core concept of

computational thinking and coding turns

1s and 0s into complex sequences of code

and have fun cracking each other’s codes.
