With BRAVA, a new mechanism has been created, consequently developed from the inside out. The emphasis is strictly placed on
functionality and its versatile application across various designs. In this instance, form had to follow the well-established himolla-function.
As usual Model BRAVA comes with numerous features, functions and is available in a wide selection of colours, fabrics and combinations.
There are numerous arguments in favour of the BRAVA. However, we would like to present one more. BRAVA is a modular system.
This means that sofas can be combined for instance with a recamier. Corner sofa configurations are available and entire living room
“landscapes” can be created for your cosy family evening.

The recliners in the himolla EASYSWING line up impresses with their harmonious look. In particular, the narrow, upholstered side panels
add a striking note to their appearance. The armchairs are available in five sizes (S-M-L-XL or as a heavy-duty armchair with electric liftup
aid up to 160 kg). Customers can choose between various degrees of seat comfort and with six possible base types, so that furniture
can be tailored to suit your individual requirements. Furthermore it can be chosen between manual adjustment or electric powered for the
functions and features. A lift-up aid can be integrated into the armchair as an option. The electric powered versions are equipped with a
magnetic mounted hand control. EASY SWING relax armchair can be equipped with an external battery, either in anthracite or in silver.

Featuring a seat width of 48 centimetres, this comfortable
armchair is available in many seat heights and
depths. The XXL version for instance is 57 cm wide. The
plate or star base also allows the seat to rotate freely
at 360 degrees. The soft poly-foam pad ensures a particularly
soft sitting experience. Thanks to the integrated
and adjustable leg rest, the lounging sensation is just
about perfect. Inclination of the headrest can also be

Reducing the environmental impact and improving our resourcefulness
with EMAS. The EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) is a
premium management tool developed by the European Commission for
companies and other organizations to assess, report and improve their
environmental performance. EMAS ensures that all environmental concerns,
from energy consumption to waste disposal and emissions, are
implemented transparently and consistently. Since 1998, himolla has
been an EMAS validated company.
SUSTAINABILITY
Protecting the environment and using resources wisely
has always been a matter of importance for himolla: water-based
adhesives, no emission of toxic substances, recycling
of wood, foam and plastic waste, the use of locally
harvested FSC-certifi ed wood and solar energy are just a
few examples of our environmentally friendly production
process. For this reason, since 2011, himolla has been
awarded the renowned German “Blue Angel” as well as the
European Union’s “EMAS Award”.

The “Blue Angel” certifi es that all components such as
foams, leather and fabrics used in our products are environmentally
compatible and sustainable. In its assessment,
the “Blue Angel” looks at the entire life cycle of each product
and identifi es all important environmentally relevant areas,
such as the use of FSC-certifi ed wood, the consideration of
recycled materials, the suitability for reuse after a life cycle.
The Blue Angel is not easy to achieve and is a government
award created to protect people and the environment.

We set ourselves to the highest quality and durability standards to guarantee products, so that you can enjoy your

Our own himolla test laboratory is a real “torture chamber”. The way that our members of staff treat the upholstered furniture
and materials during their tests makes this comparison more than fitting. Abrasion tests, crushing tests, strength
tests and more need to undergo and pass. These rigorous tests are the only way to test the quality and longevity of the
materials that we use for the production of our products, resulting an our special “triple himolla five-year” guarantee.
UPHOLSTERY
Each fabric must prove its endurance during regular abrasion tests. Each leather is tested for its durability with intensive
attrition tests. The cover materials are tested in line with the strict requirements of the RAL-GZ 430 (DGM quality
conditions).
SEAT PADDING
Our seat padding is subjected to endurance tests. It is compressed with a 75 kg weight up to 80,000 times to guarantee
fitness for purpose.
FITTINGS
Our fittings are also tested under a continuous load. 20,000 load cycles are carried out using himolla dummies, weighing
130 kg.
FRAMES AND NON-MOVING, LOAD-BEARING PARTS
The strength test sees weights of up to 160 kg dropped onto the upholstered furniture for 30,000 cycles.

The 1808 model brings a fresh breeze to any interior. This model has a folding backrest that converts into headrests in no time at all.
Thanks to the filigree base, this model looks particularly light, almost floating. Finally, this relax sofa impresses with its multi functionality,
such as the practical manual seat depth adjustment, with which the seat depth can be extended by up to 26 centimetres, or the electrically
operated leg rest. The motorised adjustment is controlled via a toggle switch on the side of the seat. On request, the comfort sofa can
be equipped with an external rechargeable battery for even more user comfort. Several seating plan options are available, a single-seat
“lounger”, a sofa or a customisable living landscape, or anything in between.

shell was developed testing the limits in cooperation with our own foaming department. A unique characteristic in the furniture
industry. With the perfect combination of minimalistic design and carefully thought-out functionality, the S-LOUNG-
ER 7911 recliner by himolla has already won multiple awards, such as ICONIC AWARD or GERMAN INNOVATION
AWARD. Named winner in the category of innovative furnishings, the armchair combines sophisticated relax functions
with a very light design. This sophisticated combination of form and function was made possible by himolla test laboratory,
because fittings and parts were put through their paces and last but not least were developed from scratch.
There is a lot to choose from. This perfectly shaped recliner is available in three sizes S, M or L, different seat depths (52, 54, 56 cm) and
seat heights (44, 46, 50 cm) versions available. This variety reflects your very own personal understanding of well-being. Comprehensive

Our stains and lacquers are all water based and non polluting ensuring that this element of
manufacturing meets the same exacting eco-friendly standards we apply to all our production.

LEATHER
Most of them are categorized as LONGLIFE as they receive a unique
protective layer during the tanning process that allows for easy cleaning and
maintenance.
Many of the leather categories offer both “soft” and “rustic” options, refl ecting
the thickness of the leather and the finish. “Soft” is supple and luxurious,
while “Rustic” is thicker, heavier and more granular, but still feels wonderfully
tactile and soft, giving the fi nished product a slightly fi rmer character. In any
case, all leathers are of excellent quality and workmanship. With different
