KNIGHT ERRANT | THE DELTA CHI FOUNDATION
Leading with Purpose
The Journey of Bradley Saribekian,
Eastern Illinois ‘12
From a hesitant undergraduate to an accomplished business coach and dedicated
Delta Chi alumnus, Bradley Saribekian’s journey is a testament to resilience,
leadership, and fraternity connections. A 2012 graduate of Eastern Illinois
University, Saribekian has navigated the corporate world with determination while
remaining committed to giving back to Delta Chi.
A Brotherhood That Lasts a Lifetime
Saribekian’s introduction to Delta Chi wasn’t immediate. He initially made
a pact with his dormmates to forgo Greek life. However, as the years passed, he saw
how Delta Chi shaped his peers. A chance encounter at a fraternity event rekindled
his interest, and when he was asked to join, he embraced the opportunity. “Being
asked made the difference,” he recalls. “That’s what it takes—just asking.”
Saribekian quickly stepped into leadership roles, serving as “A”.
He attended Delta Chi’s “A”s’ Academy, an experience that reinforced his belief
in the fraternity’s values and impact beyond college. “The “A”s’ Academy was my
first experience in leadership training designed to help a President bring out the
best in their Chapter. Not only did it help prepare me for the role and allow me to
build relationships with other like-minded brothers in the same respective role, but
it also allowed me to share ideas that I could bring back to my Chapter and make
contacts with brothers that I could ask follow-up questions. Catching up with these
brothers many years later at Trustee Society Experiences and Conventions perfectly
exemplifies the brotherhood of a lifetime!”
Carving a Path in Business Leadership
After graduation, Saribekian’s career path was anything but linear. He sent out
99 applications before receiving a recruiter’s call for a professional services and
webcasting role. Over time, his business operations and leadership expertise led
him to manage departments of up to 63 people.
However, corporate restructuring and layoffs reshaped his perspective.
Witnessing cultural shifts from private equity acquisitions, Saribekian, motivated
by his passion for leadership, sought a career path where he could make a direct
impact. “When I joined Delta Chi, I was introduced to the idea of the Knight Errant,
a knight in search of chivalrous adventures. This forever changed me and made me
strive to be a better person and to ensure the community thrives.” He pivoted to
business coaching, launching Focal Point Business Coaching, a franchise focused
